feeling gender so i wanna talk about why aviv gets top surgery in some universes and not in others! hint: its a bit more complex than just whether there's magic or advanced enough technology. take his f/go verse for example: there's both an abundance of magic and extremely skilled doctors who would do the procedure for free. however for the longest time he just didn't want to. he doesn't feel much- if any- dysphoria relating to his body. it's primarily the idea of being perceived "as a woman" that bothers him the most. so when it comes to surgeries, they're not really his top priority in any universe— however it also depends on his circumstances. there are some where he got top surgery because he decided he would feel better without the weight on his chest and "feminine" frame, and he feels much better now. while in other universes like fire emblem or genshin impact he doesn't even really process it as an option because it kind of isn't. granted that wouldn't stop me from giving him top surgery anyway if the muse said he wanted his booby-b-gone but it hasn't crossed his mind even once. in every universe he's overall pretty happy with his body and some universes give him more opportunities to explore that than others.

that said i tend to draw him with his top surgery more often than not because most modern & futuristic universes he did end up opting for it for one reason or another
