Diablo 4, I've been playing it and have actively been enjoying my time with it. Here's some stories I made with my characters.

My vampire, my sweet hot Gothic vampire lady. Honestly when I was first introduced into the character creator I didn't really use a whole lot because I was already given the best preset to make them with. Probably luck on the RNG but I like the little details I added with them. Brisa will quite literally suck the life right out of you!

Araline

Her thighs can crush rocks and stones, and to be honest it was already impressive having such thick and luscious thighs! Just ask the imps, they tell their shamans to hide just so they can get that beautiful thigh goddess to keep going far longer than what is necessary. Thiccccc thighs take lives.

The Ryu Shi Oh treatment

Oh boy do I have a lot to say.

So Shi Oh is the CEO of Doogo right ?

When we first met him we saw that he was violent and he did not care about being physically violent.

His introduction scene came in episode 1 when he was in that bus thingy watching Nam Soon stopping the plane and being head over heels for her. He is fascinated by her

At the beginning we dont have much info about him : all that we know is that he is the CEO, the one dealing the drugs, violent and scared of nothing.

Then we see him doing his little business drug and wanting to find Nam Soon, then he do finds her.

The chemistry is there at their first scene. Shi Oh is fascinated by her and really likes her, he wants to know more. He is jealous as he sees her having fun downstairs with Hee Sik.

Somehow she comes to aid him at the office, he trust her, he is fascinated by her, by Tsetseg.

The more we see them the more we see a new side of Shi Oh.

Not only do we learn that he can be very tender, soft hearted, he worries about her, cares about her. He wants to help her get a citizenship, drive her home, wants to help her find her own home. He drives her home personnally, they have meals together. He helps her putting her bag well on her shoulder, helps her with her jacket.

She is the only person which can makes him smile.

He is interested in her, and truly cares for her.

Not only that but we also learnt about his past, which he is starting to share with her as well.

He was an orphan and was adopted into a russian mafia group, which truly mistreated him. He could not eat if he did not win hand fight, was clearly being beaten up. We are only starting to see of his abuse, physical and mental.

The fact that he is opening up to Nam Soon (Tsetseg) and explaining that for him friendship and love were never an option but that with her it is finally something he can imagine is so important.

He also confessed and is vocal about his feelings. He trust her, he wants her by his side.

We also saw them bonding multiple times, being away from their natal countries, missing something, Being honest and wondering what their places in society is.

We also saw her standing up for him against her mother. Which he deeply appreciated. She always cares about him and asks him whats wrong

There is this phrase that I really like that nam soon said that was about your place in life : wether someone is in the dark or in the light and she said that he was in the middle. Searching for his light.

We saw in the last two episodes that he keeps thinking about : Nam soon could be his light, he wants to be in the light.

He is trying his hardest to break free from the mafia and the drugs and the antidote are that door to freedom for him.

We also saw how deeply he was worried for her when she did not come to work, how worried he was that it was because of his confession, but also when he took the drug he asked her to stay away from him, why ? probably because he was scared that he could hurt her.

Now the problem is that we are getting at the end of the drama. Soon he will find out that Tsetseg the woman he loves and trust is not who she pretends to be. And he is going to be broken hearted.

I don't see a good ending for him, the most likely cases can be cut to 3 :

Mafia finds him first and kills him since he is disobeying them

The police will arrest him and he will end in jail

He dies during a police operation (I could totally see a scene where he dies in Nam-Soon arms thanking her for making him feel love and friendship for the first time in his life)

Now that is why I am mad. It is extremely unlikely that he will have a happy ending, that he will be with Nam Soon

Which to me is so unfair.

Yes he did hurt and kill people but he is a victim as well.

He has trauma, and a really heavy huge one. It is not a vilain which does it without reasons or only for his pleasure, he is doing it to free himself from the mafia and from his trauma.

What he definitely needs is a therapist. He needs to heal from the pain in his heart.

What makes it so unfair is that I know he is not gonna end up well, he will either die or end up in jail.

And I hates it.

I want him to be happy, to be at peace. His whole life was suffering and trusting no one.

And now that he finally trust and love someone he is gonna lose her. He is gonna lose everything.

I just wish that for once, he would be happy, he would be forgiven just like the girl who tried to kill Nam-Soon.

I wish that he could be with Nam-Soon and heal properly with his trauma.

All those scenes that shows his trauma and childhood is to make us feel for him, feel sympathetic. Only for what ? For them to kill him off (probably).

The message that will be send out will be that even if you have trauma and you start to heal from it, is that there is no way of healing, there is no way of being free.

Shi Oh deserves the hapiness, he deserves to be with Nam Soon.

And I know that he will not get it

this is going to sound biased because not gonna lie I am indeed biased but the pain of sio finding out tsetseg is namsoon felt so personal I just need to vent a little.

In my opinion, if they (sio/namsoon) were the main couple in this show, it would've been so much more complex and intriguing because of how different they are from each other and how in the progression of the storyline they would've changed each other.

on one hand, we have sio, who pretty much just sees the worst in people, is individualistic, doesn't trust anyone and is just a textbook villain since he doesn't necessarily feel bad about his actions either and will do anything to achieve what he wants.

on the other hand, we have namsoon who just screams sunshine in person; she wants to help people and believes that there is good in basically everyone. She doesn't shy away from trusting people and is a very bright and friendly girl who doesn't differentiate between them.

both also have their strong beliefs and principles that they stick to which is, to be honest just a result of their past and, well, in sio's case a result of his trauma. He had to fight to survive and basically earn his right to live, experiencing everything a child shouldn't and being raised in the worst conditions and environment possible, while namsoon, apart from her birth parents much like sio, still got to experience a, let's say, "normal" childhood with loving parents and basically witnessed life always from the bright side, very far removed of the darkness of it all.

now imagine if they had put these two together and how complex their storyline would've been. One conflict would be her first impression of him, which is that he is inherently bad, because as I mentioned, he is the textbook villain, and after hearing of what he did, alongside her mother and everyone else, she too would be convinced he is bad and they're the good ones, which if you look at the bigger picture without considering why he does all of it, is the truth

That being said, another conflict would be their personalities. One would think that because they are on opposing sides of a spectrum, they wouldn't get along at all but looking at the content we got of them being together, despite his personality and principles, namsoon managed to become a safety zone for sio. If they had been the main couple, their time together would slowly conflict namsoon from within because what she personally sees of him, does not match the definition of a villain, therefore confusing her as she proceeds to see his point of view but still being unsure because she also has duties to go after (which is to expose him and his deeds):

and finally, it would take a long time for her to actually see and understand him, but she would eventually understand why he has done the things (and eventually find out his motive as well which is possibly just to find binbin. Idk if that's his actual motive but after today's ep I feel like it is.) and realize that there is some darkness to life but also that nothing is just black and white, good or bad.

and just like how sio influenced her beliefs, she too would help him to change his mind about people, that there are some he can trust and find comfort in (much like how she has so far).

This has gotten so much longer than I expected but all I'm trying to say is that to me personally, their relationship has much more depth and difficulty that would've been amazing to see them work through. All I'm gonna do now is submit into delusion and hope they pull a love alarm in the last three eps or just write some fanfiction.

But she has always dreamed of going back to find out where she's from, so she worked hard to learn Korean, until she was finally ready to go back and search for her birth parents. Her dreams about South Korea were all shattered immediately, though, as her return finds her scammed and homeless. And not only that, but finding her family leads to her being wrapped up in a drug-case that threatens to take away everything she has worked so hard to find.

Drama rec masterlist | Drama rant thread (beware of spoilers)

This drama is unsurprisingly a lot like its "prequel" which is, of course, Strong Woman Do Bong-soon. Which is both a good and a bad thing, because I like the original drama a lot, but it also means that I kept comparing the two. And honestly, the original is better if you ask me.

Both dramas have this thing where it's a comedy drama overall, but it has these really dark themes and scenes that just feel so out of place because they keep undermining it with something funny. The balance just isn't there for me - I had the same problem with Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, but I still feel that they handled it a bit better. A drama that handles that balance really well, though it may be hard to compare with these two, is Vincenzo. -> this does not mean it's a bad drama or anything, it is just not my thing.

Overall, it was a very decent drama. The actors all gave it their all, but sometimes the writing just didn't really hit what they were trying to. Some of the drama came off feeling almost two-dimensional, if that makes sense? It just never really got deep enough for me to actually truly care what happened to any of the characters, which doesn't really make for an amazing viewing experience.

And I can't talk about this drama, without talking about the shipping wars, because oh boy did it get heated at some points. The viewers who found Hee-sik boring (which... I can kind of see, but he's just as "stereotypical" of his character as any of the other characters in this drama, so by that logic all the characters are boring) started shipping Nam-soon with Shi-oh. And yes, these two did have pretty good chemistry on screen, but guys with giant red banners waving behind them just really aren't my thing. And while I did think that Nam-soon and Hee-sik were cute, their chemistry wasn't off the charts like you would want in a romance (neither was her chemistry with Shi-oh, just saying).

The single best scene in this drama was the cameo from Bong-soon and Min-hyuk. And that says a lot about this drama, I think.

In the end... this was a drama that did what it wanted - it copied and somewhat successfully made a second drama to the "classic" that was Bong-soon. It was generally cute and kinda fun, and I didn't have the worst time watching it. Did this drama need to be made? Not if you ask me. Does it need a second season / spin-off like they're teasing? Definitely not. Will I still give it a watch? Probably.

Prompt #18: A Fish Out of Water - Terbish

The hawk swooped at Terbish’s command, claws extended as it rocketed towards the surface of the sea.  The waves were calm today, perfect for training with Tsetseg and it got her away from the house and into the open air.  The bird’s claws dipped into the water before it pulled up and away, wing tips brushing against the ocean’s waves.  Alas, it’s claws were empty.

A whistle to the hawk, Terbish holding up her gloved hand for it once it’s recovered from the dive.  Obediently, Tsetseg flew over and landed on the hunting gauntlet immediately preening the wet tips of his wing feathers.  “You’ll get it down! I know you will!  The bird looked up with a single, golden eye, the pupil pinning before he goes back to preening away any traces of moisture on his feathers. The hawk’s jesses were twined between the teen’s fingers as she continued to walk along the beach.  The house was too small today, too many people, too much noise.  Out here was better, it felt more comfortable, less out of place.   She could be herself, whatever that might be.  Papo said she’d figure it out but...  Wait, that was a glint just under the water! Releasing the jesses, Terbish boosts Tsetseg into the sky, pointing where she saw the fish with a sharp, short whistle.  The hawk instantly beat it’s way airborne, flying up high before circling in place once, twice, then down into another sharp dive.  This time, when the powerful wings brought the hunting bird skyward once more there was a large fish secured in both claws.  Laboriously, Tsetseg made his way to the beach, dropping the fish on the sand. Terbish pounced on it before it could flop back into the water, putting a line through a gill and out the mouth to secure more easily than holding the slippery, flopping thing.  A happy whoop from success and then a treat brought out of a bag for the hawk for his work.  “Fish for dinner!  I hope Papo likes it!”

When she initially feels herself being lifted from the ground, she fights back. They're weak tugs and feeble attempts to get free. The strong arm around her back only pulls her in tighter. "Just hold on," he urges. Oh. Oh, so it's safe, then... Her legs go limp as the fight leaves her body in a rush. He swears and staggers, urges her to find her footing. There's the familiar scrape of his horn against her cheek. Was her head falling to the side? Mmm, sleep does seem like a fantastic option. "Tsetseg, not yet," She mutters a complaint. Or coughs. There's the taste of iron in her mouth and he swears again, moves her faster. Her shoes alternate being dragged along or lifted entirely. " 'm tired..." she whispers. "Wanna sleep~" Another scrape of his horn, nudging, insisting, until she blinks open bleary eyes.

"Sleep later, alright? You have to keep your eyes open. Don't close them, let me see them," Adelle groans but complies, even when the bruising makes everything sore and swollen to so much as peek at. Dubus lets out a sigh of relief, and half drags her wobbling frame back to the company house without so much as a question.
