If anyone fancied playing the Sims Life Stories and Pet Stories hoods, Hood Building Group on MTS recreated them all, and recently updated Bitville so you can choose to play from the two different endings onwards :) Four Corners from Riley's Story has already been updated in this way last year, and I saw they currently working on updating more of their hoods to be played from the end of the story as well, so keep an eye out! I did originally add all the hoods to a megahood and just started making the community lots over, but now I might start again with just the updated Four Corners, Bitville and also Arbor Falls (as there's presumably no update coming, as no story), then add Mesa Flats and Garden Heights once they're updated :)

Life Stories Build Bundle Labled
Last night I went through the most tedious project ever and added "LS" to each text description of the walls and floors in Argon's Life Stories build bundle. I was tired of not remembering what came from the game and what was added by the bundle since it's decustomized. Useful for builders who want to share cc-free lots.
No changes to the package other than that. You get the ugly with the good, same as the original. Unfortunately, I can't find previews anywhere, but you might be able to see some at the Stories Conversion DB.

Ever wanted to play Bitville from Sims Life Stories, but with its original lore, right after Vincent's Story completed in Sims 2?
Well, then I might have something for you! You might remember that we updated Four Corners, but with Riley's Story completed last summer as well. In these alternative versions of the recreated Stories neighborhoods which the HBG and I made years ago, you can play with the sims just like in a freshly "unlocked" free-play neighborhood in Sims Life Stories, as if you played through the story mode in TS2.
Additionally, right before the end of Vincent's Story, the main character Naomi gets hit by Vincent's very own satellite and Vincent pleads with the Grim Reaper. However, Grim would only return Naomi if Vincent is willing to give up his fortune for her. So you get to choose the outcome of the story with these two options:
Vincent values money over love: Naomi dies, Vincent gets to keep his fortune, mansion, job and receives a statue of Naomi (which is basically also her grave)
Vincent values love over money: Naomi survives, but Vincent loses his fortune, mansion and job. He would then live together with Naomi with almost no money to start off of.
I recreated both scenarios, so you can download either neighborhood, based on your preferred ending. (In TS2, you could technically also resurrect Naomi now and let Vincent keep his fortune, but that's up to you then, lol.)
Also, if you’re not familiar with Vincent’s story, I recommend watching this lovely series/sims machinima made by the talented Bright Sim Studio on YT. 💕
It’s based on the storyline from the game and I must say they did an excellent job!! It’s very true to the original story and I love the new additions/plot twists as well! Definitely worth checking out! ^^

Hair CC Update

The update is for reorganization in CAS and I also make sure that every hair has been disabled for random. Now, the hair has been sorted from their type, such as TS2 hair conversions, my own cc, Dreamlight Valley conversions, etc, so they would be easier to find in CAS.

According to a job listing, EA may be experimenting with squeezing the remaining money out of their older titles by expecting you to pay more money for products you already bought but as a month subscription because no one seems interested in The Sims 5 and they don't know how to beat new competitors bringing legacy games to modern devices through a cloud based service!

Ok, I took the Doppelganger Console down to fix some issues I missed, but now it's back, exorcised and improved!
This is a logic skilling object in Practice Mode
Gain enthusiasm is Games in Practice and Play modes
And because I thought it would be cute for children to teach their grandparents how to play video games, I've altered the age limits so that children can offer lessons to or be asked for lessons from the other age groups as long as the child has a higher logic skill than the other sim
I felt like a ginormous asshole for not catching my fubars before posting, and then it taking so long to fix, so as an apology, I've made you four custom video games!

My best freind tried sims 2 for the 1th time
She made a married family with two kids and everything was fine and fun... so this drama queen of a freind was bored so,she made the wife cheat (eventhought she did nto want to cheat) and the social worker took the babies due to child neglect...

All the stuff in The Sims 3, The Sims Medieval, and The Sims 4 was originally concepts and ideas for The Sims 2. And that's what's important - the developers of The Sims 2 had elaborations on these ideas that were removed or implemented in later games of The Sims or in spin-offs
In April 2006, a survey was held on the official website asking players what they would want to see in later expansion packs.
A large chunk of those ideas would not make it into the final, but in later Sims-related content.
The page mentions of Sims as castaways on another island, where they need to build a new home in the rainforest to farm, fish and build stuff to survive. The idea would be released as a spin-off called The Sims Castaway for consoles and handhelds, and The Sims Castaway Stories for Windows. Oddly, farming isn't a feature in the latter, despite having dozens of leftovers for it.
There was going to be an expansion pack focused solely on functionable hospitals, separated into four different careers referred to as "medicine, physical therapy, surgeon, or psychiatry" in order to cure illnesses from Sims. The would be revisited in The Sims 4: Get To Work expansion.
This paragraph details the gameplay. And they complement what Mike Seller, one of The Sims 2's game designers, described in response to a question about the goals set during its development:
Add more meaningful jobs and locations -- this eventually came out, sort of, in later releases, but a ton of work we did for this was dropped. For example we had gameplay for creating your own doctor's office with waiting room and treatment room. The more chairs, magazines, fish tanks, etc., the longer patients would wait. The worse your diagnoses or procedures, the faster they would leave (if you made the patient scream because you chose the wrong procedure, the Sims in the waiting room would get upset and run out the door :) ). Unfortunately, we were also beset with frustrating technical issues involving the underlying scripting language (Edith), so making all this was incredibly difficult.
An expansion pack that would be released as Pets is mentioned in the survey, but it also refers to training pets, suggesting that it was going to play a slightly bigger role rather than teaching them tricks. Coincidentally, The Sims Pet Stories does feature a pet training system in the form of an obstacle course.
What would be the Seasons expansion is mentioned in the survey, mentions the feature of a "sand volleyball" activity. An unused volleyball graphic can be found in the base game, suggesting the feature was going to come to fruition.
A time travel-themed expansion pack is explained where Sims are travelled back in time to a fantasy neighborhood "where they can live like royalty or enjoy the simple things in life", and have access to building castles, having enourmous feasts and working on small farms. The whole idea would most likely be the basis of The Sims Medieval, but the castle-building aspect would be released in the form of a The Sims 2 Store set, coming with medieval-themed furniture.

A mystery-solving expansion pack, involving socializing with specific Sims all over the neighborhood to figure out the mystery would be most likely revisited in The Sims 3 Ambitions in the Detective Career.
But when reading the description, this trailer comes to mind, which supposedly refers to The Sims Castaway Stories, but there's nothing Castaway about it. It really makes you wonder what happened in the town and why people disappeared:

A similar Seasons-themed expansion pack is mentioned where Sims could put on parties specific to certain seasons (Despite the idea being released as the New Year's Party in Happy Holiday Stuff), with the mention of a party planner. Seasonal-themed parties would likely be revisited in The Sims 3 Seasons.
The last option mentions enjoying the best years' of the Sims' youth, with features involving birthdays, playground antics, slumber parties, building tree-houses and forts, sports practice, and prom nights. The idea sounds a lot like what would eventually be in The Sims 3: Generations, but the mention of a sports practice could also loosely tie into the FreeTime expansion with the soccer goalposts. There's also an unused model of a Slumber Party Memory in the base game, suggesting that the feature was going to return in an expansion pack before getting scrapped again.
After the expansion-related ideas came the addition of specific objects that players would like to see in future expansions;
Furniture workbench (create your own furnishings)
Pool toys
Camping - would be introduced in the Bon Voyage expansion pack.
Water parks, zoos, amusement parks
Apartments - - would be introduced in the Apartment Life expansion pack.
Slot Machines, Roulette, Craps tables - Would be introduced in The Sims 3 Lucky Palms.
Casinos
Pets - would be introduced in the Pets expansion pack.
Weather and Seasons - would be introduced in the Seasons expansion pack.
Concert lighting and stages - would be introduced in The Sims 3 Showtime.
Snowball fight - would be introduced in the Seasons expansion pack.
Gardening, growing food - would be introduced in the Seasons expansion pack.
Sports and other active events - would be loosely introduced in the FreeTime expansion pack.
Skating, snowboarding, skiing - would be introduced in the Seasons expansion pack.
Cooking materials, food items - would be loosely introduced in the Seasons expansion pack, but would come to full use in The Sims 3 base game.
Prom parties - would appear in The Sims 3 Generations.
Health and sickness - doctors and nurses making house calls
Fishing - would be introduced in the Seasons expansion pack.
Frisbee
Going shopping - Not to be confused with Open For Business, which came out a month prior.
Yearly calendar - mark, plan special events
Natural Disasters - would be loosely introduced as the meteor death in The Sims 3 Ambitions.

Charlie Jack: “Fucking Foxbury! They couldn’t come up with even one clever insult! I swear, being totally braindead is their only admissions requirement. I wish I knew exactly who was behind this so I could break their idiotic necks!”
Mia: “Don’t waste your energy, CJ. We’ll say more by taking the high road.
Charlie Jack: “Fuck the high road! We need to hit them where it hurts. An eye for an eye, right, Helena?”
Helena: [laughs nervously] “I agree with Mia. Aren’t we supposed to be the mature ones here?”
Charlie Jack: “Anyway, at least we managed to talk the prof into extending the paper deadline. Now, not even Helena has an excuse to skip Spooky Bowl.”
Helena: “Wait, what’s Spooky Bowl?”
Charlie Jack: [gasps] “It’s only Britechester tradition! Every year, Tri-Var and Tri-Fruhm come together to do up the old bowling alley downtown for a kick-ass Halloween party.”
Helena: “Ah, Halloween isn’t really my thing.”
Mia: “Is anything your thing, Helena? No offense, but you can be a real killjoy with the all work, no play act.”
Helena: “It’s not an act! But you’re not the only person who’s told me I need to have more fun recently…”
Charlie Jack: “Then it’s settled! We’re all going! Oh, Helena, we have to find you the most amazing costume. Start brainstorming ideas, and meet me at the thrift store tomorrow!”

“He does seem to be.” Elaine patted Abe’s tie, gently straightening it, before moving on to freshen up the rest of his clothes. Abe half-contemplated batting her hands away, but the response he’d surely receive wouldn’t be worth the trouble. 
“Oh, I suppose you missed your chance,” his mother laughed a little, pulling his collar back into place, “I really thought you two would—.... Though, if your grandfather heard me say that…” 
Abe buried the urge to pull away from her ministrations at that, “Mom… you can’t say things like that… this is her wedding.” 
“Oh, hush. I’m not being serious.” Elaine chastised, “Thomas seems like a lovely young man.” 
She glanced over Abe’s shoulder to where Callum was still standing. The other man had turned to the side though, intent on watching the crowd around them, rather than partake in this particular conversation.  “I just wish you’d spend some time with some girls your age,” Elaine looked back at Abe, “So you can get married soon too.”

Escaping Dungeons and Deception

Meanwhile, Aunt Sharon has not been staying with a sick friend as Riley had been lead to believe… but held captive in a dirty basement. After weeks of suffering and refusing to bend to her captor’s demands, she uses her old army training to finally escape.

She goes straight to the police and reveals her story. The man that did this to her will not get away with it and the even more ominous plan he revealed to her will not be kept quiet.

While Sharon hides upstairs and waits for the cops to come, Dylan returns home and is infuriated to find she is no longer trapped in his basement. Consumed by anger, he guns it to her house hoping he still has time before she goes to the police. Unbeknownst to him they’re already on their way…

He shows up only to find Riley having just arrived home from work and making her way up to the front door. And Sharon nowhere in sight. He then explodes, kicking over things, screaming and ranting that Sharon and her have cost him everything. Riley is confused.. what is he raving about?

She then starts to feel actual fear as he storms toward her, the look on his face something she has never witnessed. Before he can lunge for her, the sounds of sirens fill the air and a police car whips around the corner. Sharon promptly exits exclaiming “That’s him officer! That’s the man that kidnapped me!!”

The cop holds Dylan at gunpoint upon seeing his clear to intent to harm Riley and the murderous glint in his eyes. He alerts Dylan to back away and put his hands up. Sharon cries to Riley that Dylan had tricked her into getting a large life insurance policy and then trapped her in his basement.

Riley can’t believe her eyes. The cop apprehends Dylan, informs him he is under arrest and that they will be looking into his accomplice. Riley finds herself in shock and struggling to hold back sobs. How could she have been so blind?

Her aunt and her embrace, and Riley feels immense relief that her aunt seems relatively unharmed. She goes on to tell Riley that she is okay and she will give her the whole story once they get inside. As the cop ushers Dylan into the backseat and drives off, the two women enter the house.

At the kitchen table, Sharon breaks it down that once Dylan tricked her into getting a large life insurance policy, he tried to force her to declare him as her beneficiary. When she wouldn’t budge, he locked her in his basement and chose to focus on who would be next in line for the money… Riley. He planned to marry her, then do away with the both of them and keep the money for him and his accomplice. She describes the accomplice as a woman and someone that seemed to have something personal against Riley as well…

Shaking from the information her aunt just revealed, Riley’s gut can’t help but tell her that the woman MUST be Agora, she just knew something felt off with her. She rushes to the phone to call Fiona to determine when the wedding is and if she has time to warn Mickey. Upon discovering it’s currently happening, will she even have a chance at making it in time?
