Rose Petal Jam

100g rose petals

300g (1½ cups) sugar

juice of ½ a lemon

5-6g of agar-agar

Immerse the roses in a basin of cold water and gently detach the petals, taking care to remove any aphids or other small creatures.

Cook the rose petals with the sugar, lemon and 3¼ cup of water. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes, without boiling. The water will turn pink and the petals will turn grey.

Strain to keep only the pink juice. Let cool.

Measure the juice obtained and add the equivalent of 6g of agar-agar per liter (4¼  cups) obtained.

Bring the mixture to the boil and simmer for 30 seconds.

Pour into jars and let cool.

This is a really dumb idea but....

Ok, so I'm a Lollikin who misses the Sweetheart from my canon a lot. The problem is is that I don't have enough memories to make a proper canon call, as well as the fact that i'm a bit too shy to interact with any possible Tricksters.

So what do I do?

You see, there's a game I downloaded awhile ago called Dream Girlfriend. In the game you make your character look however you like. So I came up with an idea. What if I made a character who looks like my Sweetheart?

So here's the picture:

It's the best I can do for now and it works. The character makes for a nice representation of Sweetheart and it helps with canon sickness.

Strawberry Guri Guri

2 (12 oz.) cans strawberry soda

1 (12 oz.) can 7 Up soda

1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk

Mix all ingredients in a bowl or large plastic container, cover, and freeze. Stir the mixture when partially frozen and return to freezer. This only needs to be done once, but can be done several times. If you forget to mix, don't worry. It will still turn out okay. Note: the mixture will expand and bubble, so make sure the bowl is large to allow for expansion.

Hi! I’m new!

I figure I’ve had this blog long enough and it’s high time I introduce myself!

I am the Angel of the Northern Seas. I don’t know if I have any other name, but you can call me Turnstone (like the bird) and I am a Non-Abrahamic Angelkin. Basically I’m an angel that has nothing to do with the Judeo-Christian religions.

My pronouns are They/Them, and that’s really as much about my gender as I know how to put into words

Some things about me: •My favourite things are the Ocean, shorebirds, waterfowl, and roses. •I would very much describe myself as an “Eldritch” angel, y’know, wings and eyes and claws and sharp, sharp teeth, but not very humanoid •I miss my flock terribly, and I remember nothing about them, just that they aren’t here and it hurts. I don’t even know if other angels have flocks…
