hi there! I got an idea!! (this includes one of my proxies that I haven't used much yet...so if you have questions lmk!)

So Tony decides to take some free time and go to a bar for some downtime. The particular bar he's going to has boxing matches, so that's the added entertainment and he decided to go and watch a few matches. What he doesn't expect is to see Anni boxing with Silva and Tony becomes a simp. He can see the tattoo that he was working on, on Anni's back and almost feels a sense of pride at seeing his work on her body, shes also in tight athletic wear and Tony finally gets a little glimpse at what Anni meant when she said she was a proxy. Silva is really good at boxing, but luckily they have gloves on and can't beat each other up too much but still enough to where you can break some skin so Anni has a busted lip and a little bloody noise but it looks like she's having fun and they both are grinning at each other and laughing while everyone else is cheering for one or the other. In the end, Silva does win and almost knocks Anni out with a hit to the temple but Anni gets up and Silva makes sure she's okay and Anni finds Tony at the bar and he is blushing and simping so hard whereas Anni is just going off of the adrenaline rush that she just got from the match and just talking to him happily, even with her busted lip and bloody nose!

Tony had been looking forward to a night out for weeks, and the bar with the boxing matches seemed like the perfect place to relax and unwind. As he walked in, the sounds of cheering and shouting filled the air, and he could feel the energy of the crowd pulsing through him. He found a spot near the ring, ordered a drink, and settled in to watch the matches. The fights were intense, with the boxers throwing punches and dodging blows with skill and precision. Tony was completely absorbed in the action, shouting and cheering along with the rest of the crowd.But then, something caught his eye. In one of the matches, he saw a figure that looked familiar. As the boxers circled each other, Tony realized with a shock that it was someone he knew - the same girl who had come to him for a tattoo just a few weeks ago.

There were so many people watching, so many people cheering. And who was standing in front of him? Yes, Anni. It was at that moment that he finally realized that what he had decided to watch was not for not just his entertainment, but everyone else's as well. His mouth became dry and his nerves jumbled in the pit of his stomach as his eyes trailed her. But he wasn't completely offset by the situation. It looked like a lot of fun, and with the smiles coming from the girls boxing around for the amusement of the crowd they still seemed to have a good time. Tony tried to get rid of the annoying nerves in his body, his hands rubbing on her arms to comfort him— but he couldn't help but let his eyes trail alongside Anni's figure.

As the match continued, Tony couldn't take his eyes off of her. He watched as she moved with grace and power, her muscles rippling with each punch and dodge. And then, as she turned to face her opponent, Tony saw it - the tattoo that he had worked so hard on, etched onto her back in intricate detail. He felt a surge of pride and excitement, knowing that his art was now a part of the action in the ring. But as the match wore on, Tony found himself becoming more and more distracted by Anni's presence. He couldn't help but feel drawn to her, watching as she fought with a fierce determination that seemed to radiate from every inch of her body.

As the match between Anni and Silva continued, the crowd grew more and more excited. Silva was a skilled boxer, with years of training and experience under his belt. But Anni was holding her own, moving with agility and speed that surprised everyone watching. As the two fighters traded blows, Tony could see the impact of their punches, even through the gloves. Anni's lip was starting to swell, and there was a trickle of blood running down her nose. But she didn't seem to mind - in fact, she was grinning from ear to ear, clearly enjoying herself despite the pain. Silva was equally focused, her eyes fixed on Anni as she threw punch after punch. But Silva wasn't trying to hurt her - Tony could see that she was holding back, using just enough force to make the match exciting without causing serious injury.

And then, in a split second, everything changed. Silva landed a hard hit to Anni's temple, and she stumbled, her eyes rolling back in her head. For a moment, it looked like she might be knocked out cold. But then, with a groan, Anni started to stir. She blinked a few times, looking dazed and disoriented. Silva rushed over, concern etched on her face, and helped Anni to her feet. Tony could see that Anni was a little shaky, but she seemed to be all right.

"Come on Anni! Don't let her take you down, you're tougher than that!" Anni's ears perked at the sound of a familiar voice calling out to her. Yes, the woman was now skillfully punching the shit out of her and nearly had her pinned. Everybody counted to the seconds of how long she was pinned down for, and Anni knew that if they counted to five it would most likely be over.

She gave Silva a weak smile, and the two of them embraced, laughing and joking as if nothing had happened. As the crowd cheered and applauded, Tony couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with the two fighters. They had put on an incredible show, displaying skill and sportsmanship in equal measure. And in the end, it was clear that both Anni and Silva had come away with a newfound respect for each other - and for the sport that they loved.

After the match, Anni was feeling exhilarated - her heart was still racing from the adrenaline rush of the fight. She spotted Tony at the bar and made her way over to him, still grinning from ear to ear. Tony, on the other hand, was completely starstruck. He had been watching Anni in the ring, marveling at her skill and determination, and now here she was, standing right in front of him. He could hardly believe it. As Anni approached, Tony felt himself blushing and simping uncontrollably. He could see the busted lip and bloody nose that she had sustained during the match, and he couldn't help but feel a little bit worried for her.

But Anni seemed completely unfazed by her injuries. She was still talking animatedly about the match, describing the thrill of being in the ring and the rush of adrenaline that she had experienced.

Tony listened raptly, hanging on every word that Anni spoke.

Anni had just finished a tough boxing match, and she was feeling exhilarated. She had won the fight, and the adrenaline was still pumping through her veins. She made her way to the bar to meet up with some friends, and that's when she saw Tony.

Tony was sitting at the bar, leaning in a little too close to Anni, and he had a sly smile on his face. "Hey there, champ," he said, his voice dripping with flirtation.

Anni smiled back at him, but she didn't pick up on his hints. "Thanks, Tony. I couldn't have done it without you," she said, admiring the tattoo he had given her on her shoulder.

Tony pouted playfully. "Oh, come on, Anni. You're making me blush. Can I buy you a drink to celebrate your victory?"

Anni nodded, grateful for the offer. "Sure, thanks. I'll have a beer," she said, settling onto a stool beside him.

As Tony ordered their drinks, he couldn't help but flirt with Anni some more. "You know, Anni, I've been watching you fight for a while now, and I have to say, you're pretty amazing," he said, his eyes twinkling with admiration.

Anni blushed a little at the compliment, but she didn't think much of it. "Thanks, Tony. I've been working hard at it," she said, taking a sip of her beer.

Tony leaned in even closer, his lips almost brushing against Anni's ear. "You know, Anni, I think you're amazing in more ways than one," he whispered, his tone low and seductive.

Anni turned to look at him, confused. "What do you mean, Tony?" she asked, oblivious to his flirting.

Tony chuckled, realizing that Anni wasn't picking up on his hints. "Nevermind, Anni. Let's just enjoy our drinks," he said, taking a sip of his own beer.

As they chatted and laughed, Tony couldn't help but continue to flirt with Anni, even though she didn't seem to be catching on. But he didn't mind too much; he enjoyed her company, and he was happy to be there to celebrate her victory with her. He couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration for her - not just for her boxing skills, but for her confidence and fearlessness in the face of danger. As they continued to talk and found themselves even walking outside as they spoke, Tony found himself becoming extremely immersed into the convo with the hot woman— who could blame him? This was a hot proxy woman that he was practically head over heels for!

"Man, if I were you, I probably would have tapped out immediately," Tony laughed a bit.

"Where's the fun in that?" Anni asked and she shook her head. As she managed to pull her eyes away from him, she noticed how many more people were out versus how many walked during the daytime.

"Wow, there's so many more people out here at night." Anni didn't realize that the two were already walking towards the main street strip.

"You know what they say, all the freaks come out at night..." Tony said with a bit of distaste and was already on the lookout for anything unusual around them. The last thing he wanted was some asshole to ruin their night.

"So where are we going exactly? I mean, there are a lot of bars out here to go to..." Anni asked as she stared at the overflowed bars all over the streets.

"One-Eyed Jacks." Tony said and his arm rose with a pointed finger, "I hear it's one of the best bars round these parts. After that show, you have to let me buy you a drink, it was amazing." Tony attempted to throw hints at her that he was flirting with her— but Anni's oblivious nature obviously didn't pick up on the hints he was shoving in her face. Anni stared down the insanely packed roadways and managed to see the huge, glowing sign on the left hand side of the street. It had a large skull with an eye-patch over one eye like some sort of pirate flag. It didn't seem to be as packed as any of the other bars, but obviously drew in the more interesting people.

"You wanna go there?" She heard Tony asked and noticed that he was staring at her. Anni nodded,

"Yeah, the place looks like a lot of fun!" She smiled back at him. Tony led Anni through the immensity of people, keeping a close eye on her just in case some drunken asshole wanted to cop a feel. She loyally followed him closely and eyed all the people around her, almost everyone clad in black leather. As they entered the establishment, cackles and bellows filled the room's space and flooded Anni's ears. Everyone seemed like they were having a wonderful time with each other. And for the first time in a while, she didn't sense any hostility amongst the band of happy bikers.

"Here, sit down." Tony offered an empty bar stool at a tall table. Anni hopped up on the stool and rested her elbows on the wooden table, watching Tony take a seat across from her. In no moment at all, a waitress was already at their table side. As they talked, Tony found himself struggling to keep his composure. He was so overwhelmed by Anni's presence that he could hardly think straight. But Anni seemed to be completely at ease, chatting happily and laughing despite the pain she must have been feeling. In the end, Tony realized that he didn't need to be nervous or self-conscious around Anni. She was just a regular person, like him, with her own strengths and weaknesses. And as he listened to her talk, he felt a sense of connection and admiration that was deeper than any fleeting crush or infatuation.

"So, Anni, you were really killing it out there today, I know I keep saying that, but it's true! I know veryone in the crowd agreed with me." Tony said, a sly smile on his face. "I couldn't help but notice how amazing you look in those workout clothes."

Anni smiled back at him, but she didn't pick up on his flirtatious tone. "Thanks, Tony. I've been working really hard at my fitness routine."

Tony pouted playfully. "Oh, Anni, you're breaking my heart. Can't a guy give a girl a compliment these days without being accused of flirting?"

Anni laughed, still oblivious to Tony's intentions. "Of course, you can! I appreciate the compliment, Tony. You're such a good friend."

Tony's smile faltered a little at the mention of the word "friend," but he didn't let it show. "Yeah, of course, Anni. Friends can compliment each other, right?" As they chatted and joked, Tony continued to flirt with Anni, but she remained oblivious. She talked about her work, her hobbies, and her goals, and Tony listened intently, sipping on his drink as he smiled at her.

"So, Anni, have you ever thought about going out with me sometime?" Tony asked, taking a chance.

Anni looked at him, surprised. "Of course! You don't even need to be all formal, we're good friends!" His smile faltered as his eyebrows narrowed at this small, completely oblivious woman.

She was driving him insane.

He’s gonna write it down, put it on his calendar, say it to Jesus, and do whatever the fuck normal people do to make these things happen. In fact, even though they’re only halfway through December, it’s already emblazoned in his mind in big, flashing neon letters: STOP SLEEPING WITH EX-HUSBAND.

kj charles's slippery creatures: good, but i didn't feel the need to go out and get the next couple books immediately.

juliet marillier's daughter of the forest: ough. really good classic doorstopper historical fantasy. read most of it while on vacation.

alexis hall's 10 things that never happened: very sweet. i like alexis hall. annie bought me this book.

geddy lee's my effin life: i'm sure you can figure out how i feel about it.

this year i am trying to read down my TBR pile. so far i have read:

t kingfisher's the hollow places. pretty good! scary! annie lent me this.

anthony horowitz's the twist of a knife. not my favorite of this series but i continue to admire tony for his meditations on mystery writing in the form of mystery books about mystery books.

morgan talty's night of the living rez. this wrecked me. i have a major structural bug up my ass about it (i think positioning it as a set of short stories does it a disservice and it should have been marketed as a novel) but i can't really complain when i spent two hours sobbing about the final section when i finished reading it.

up next is susanna clarke's piranesi. jonathan strange is one of my all time favorite books so i believe this will also be a favorite.

Summary: A Steve/Tony post-apocalypse AU that exists pretty much just for the smut.

Reasons why I love it: The amount of world building in this is absolutely insane. I could spend hours waxing poetic about the world Annie D has crafted here, but I'll just stick to saying that it's fucking amazing. I'd read a billion more words in this universe. Plus, the Stony in this is absolutely delicious, so I highly recommend that you check it out for yourself!

I got hooked instantly on the series when I read this one, so I hope you give it a shot!

Summary: A post-apocalypse AU where Steve, leader of a dangerous gang, has stolen Tony to keep for himself. All Tony wants is to survive the experience.

Reasons why I love it: Tony's inner conflict is absolutely amazing in this one. The way everyone in the group reacts to Tony's presence feels very true to the characters, and I love how Steve keeps trying to integrate Tony into his gang. But of course, Tony being Tony, he ends up doing things his own way. I really love the conclusion of this fic, and how it leads into the next one. I've never clicked on "Next Work" so quickly in my life.

Bust a Deal, Face the Wheel

Pairing: Steve/Tony Rating: E Words: 17,398 Tags: Normalized Violence, Possessive Behavior, Degrading Language

Summary: For the first time in years, Tony leaves the relative safety of his hill in order to follow Steve to Carbon Town. He doesn’t know if it’d be worth it, but he’s willing to give it a shot.

Reasons why I love it: This is the one where the world is really fleshed out. I love the descriptions of the town and how the whole hierarchy works. And the appearance of the other Avengers is just the icing on the cake. Rhodey especially completely stole the show, along with Thor, the big oaf. I love this series an unhealthy amount, so I really hope you give it a shot!

Wicky is always tired.

He tries to sleep. He really does. He even shuts off all electronics two hours before bed, and he only drinks one cup of coffee in the mornings and only so he stays awake for classes or games.

A few times he doesn't bother, and he still struggles to sleep.

When he does sleep - does passing out from exhaustion count as sleep though? - it's only for about an hour or two, three if he's lucky.

Ollie makes it easier, when they share a dorm room their sophomore year, almost a year since they began dating. He'll fall asleep in his boyfriend's arms, relief taking hold as he does.

He's still waking up in the middle of the night though, but he's already gotten more sleep than he did last year.

Coach Hall and Coach Murray worry - have since they found out his freshman year - but there isn't much to do for him. His doctor tried everything, and unless he starts becoming properly nocturnal, he's... Just fucked, he supposes.

Ollie buys a coffee pot, and some coffee and creamer - cheaper, Wicky's lover says, than buying coffee from Annie's or Jerry's every day.

Wicky's pretty sure his eyebags have gotten worse since starting college, but Ollie just kisses him, telling him he looks handsome.

Wicky certainly doesn't feel like it, especially when his teachers pull him aside and ask him if he's alright.

Insomnia, is what he says, and they simply sigh in sympathy, and he goes on his way.

Junior year is a bit worse.

That's when the nightmares start. Well, it's when they start again. He hasn't had one since he was sixteen.

Ollie's losing sleep now too, and he feels awful for it, constantly whispering I'm sorry when his lover is the one waking him up from the nightmare.

Don't be Ollie tells him, but he is.

Senior year, the team finds out. He's in the attic, a scream leaving him as he startles awake, Ollie holding him tightly, yelling it's okay, it's just a dream, just wake up.

Bitty starts trying to come up with recipes that help promote sleep (Dex passes out when he has it).

Nursey looks up alternative ways to fall asleep, like maybe meditation before bed.

Dex looks up scientific studies on it.

Chowder suggests maybe napping during the day.

The nightmares still wake him, but at least Chowder's idea worked for a while.

The tadpoles find out, and Tony makes a carb rich dish for him, going the food route like Bitty did.

Whiskey suggests wearing himself out with exercise.

Foxtrot looks things up with Nursey and Dex.

The Waffles try too.

Louis got close, with his weird lofi music.

Then Hops suggested white noise.

(He dreamt about the horror movie, and it was the worst nightmare yet, this one having him losing Ollie to death, and Ollie cried when he whispered it to him, promising he'd never leave him.)

Bully just suggests knocking him out for a few hours.

(He's fined the most he's ever been fined for that one, and the other two Waffles glare at him for it.)

Ollie makes him go back to the doctor. Maybe the one up where they're at will know more than the one in Wicky's hometown.

He's given a new drug that recently was approved by the CDC and FDA and all.

Wicky cries the next morning, when Ollie wakes him up, already crying too, and says it's seven in the morning, and they need to go before they're late to practice.

Okay..hope you don't mind me sending you another request but Tony has got my mind going with all sorts of ideas...but for your sake i'll send you one of them. Also if you could...could you finish this one first? Unless you've already started on the others, then don't worry about it, but i'm really stoked for this one!

So Anni goes to Tony for her first ever tattoo. Its a full back piece...i'm imaging something like this --->XXX

Its a big back piece and that being said, Anni has to take off her shirt and bra...so she's bare. Tony is just kinda sitting there, trying not to look and he's like "ah...look at that ceiling...what a lovely ceiling that is." and Anni lays on her stomach and Tony gets all the stuff ready. One of the first things Tony notices is the scars on her body. Now usually Tony doesn't care to talk much to his clients but he just decides to break the silence and ask about them and that's when Anni talks briefly about who she works for and her job as a proxy and Tony is just noticing little things about her like how she doesn't squirm or squeal at the tattoo needle and she is just calm and collected as he works on this huge back piece. She's so calm and chill that she ends up falling asleep as Tony works on her, its like three in the morning and she's just tired, but Tony thinks she passed out so he's ready to go and get some water and food to try and help get her awake, but she wakes up and is like...oops and Tony actually laughs at it and mentions how hes exhausted too. So by the end of their session, Tony isn't able to get her tattoo fully done and he is completely booked with more appointments, so he does something that he would never usually do...

"Look....I usually don't do this, but if you want me to get it done soon then you can stop by my place and I should be able to finish it..." and he hands her a slip of paper with his address and phone number..

Grabbing his pen and a black pot full of his thin-tipped coloured skin markers, he wheels his chair even closer to Anni before pausing, leading her to look at him in confusion since she had already pulled her wrist in front of him, “You’re wearing a lot of clothing,” Tony muttered as she began to fiddle with the collar of her white tank top causing her to look at him with extreme confusion before mentioning, how it was colder since the Autumn season is coming around, leading him to hum in an understanding tone as she continued to play with the smooth fabric.Tony shakingly directs his line of vision towards the ceiling, humming a nervous tune while tapping his knee, waiting for the 'okay' from Anni— he was never good around attractive female clients, it always felt strange to him.

Slowly, Anni began to reach over to the top button to then unhook it from its loop before continuously doing the same with the others until enough skin of her back were exposed with her shirt resting on the side of her to which then he slowly moved away the right-hand side of her bra strap to fully expose the canvas that he wanted to mark so eagerly. Regrettably pulling away and finishing 'admiring' the ceiling, Tony quickly grabbed his black pen as he then leaned in towards her to start drawing the outline of his design on his now favorite canvas causing her to barely move even despite how ticklish and weird the sensation felt when the ballpoint pen continuously gently gilded upon her skin. However, what got her shaking the most was the constant feeling of the man's breath being felt on her upper body now that her shirt was basically off..

Tony is a tattoo artist who has been working in the industry for a few years. He's seen all kinds of clients, from the nervous first-timers to the seasoned tattoo enthusiasts. He takes pride in his work and enjoys the challenge of creating unique and meaningful designs for each of his clients in the under-realm— so he had completely expected her to be screaming and squirming, but she was completely calm— she didn't even look like she could feel the needle literally grinding against her skin at all.

As Anni continues to lay on her stomach, Tony gets all the necessary equipment ready. He takes a quick glance at Anni's body and notices the scars on her skin. Despite being a professional tattoo artist, Tony is not someone who usually talks much to his clients while working. However, he decides to break the silence and asks Anni about her scars. "Excuse me, you mind if I ask about your scars? I've only seen one other guy with this many— but on his back. He had the strangest yellow eyes as well, the people that walk in here are weird."

"Oh, those. I work as a proxy for a living. It's part of the job I guess." Anni briefly tells Tony about her job as a proxy and the dangerous situations she has been in. Tony is impressed by Anni's stubbornness and how truly nonchalant she was talking about all this absurd stuff. He admires how she has been able to keep going despite the challenges she has faced— he'd probably quit the moment he became a proxy if he was being honest with himself, proxies always looked depressed.

"I see. That's interesting. Does it hurt…?" As Tony begins to work on Anni's tattoo, he notices that she does not squirm or squeal at the tattoo needle. He is impressed by Anni's pain tolerance and how she is able to remain calm and composed throughout the process. Tony is able to fully concentrate on his work, knowing that his client is comfortable and at ease.

"Not anymore. I've gotten used to it. It's just another part of the job." Due to Tony's concentrating, she couldn’t help but keep silent to help him continue with his work causing her to glance around her room with her eyes before landing upon a wall where there was a multitude of messages written leading her to carefully scan the writings that were visibly presenting themselves. As expected, there were messages of encouragement - not that Tony seemed to really care, but it was nice of the client to do so - and a few drawings from other tattoo artists that Tony had famously done. However, not to her surprise, there were a few numbers here and there causing her to laugh silently since she couldn’t help it.

She lays down on the tattoo chair, and Tony starts to work on her tattoo. It's been a long day for Anni, and she feels herself dozing off as Tony continues to work on her. Tony assumes that Anni has passed out, and is about to go get some water and food to help her wake up. But just as he is about to leave, Anni wakes up, and Tony chuckles at her sudden awakening. He understands how exhausting the process can be, and mentions how he himself is drained.

"God, I'm not sure why I came so late if I'm being honest— I knew I would be tired." Anni says yawning— tired tears springing to her eyes, and Tony glances at her. He continues to trace the lines, wiping afterwards to get the excess ink and blood off with a little lopsided smile on his face, he knew where she was coming from, he was similar in that way.

He doesn’t comment on it though. What is he supposed to say? He simply works away, finally finishing the thin and delicate outlines of hsr piece- the first step, before he will see her again for the finished version of the piece. He finally connects the last line, and doesn’t think twice about what he says next. “Welp, I won't be able to finish this right now.”

Tony continues to work on Anni's tattoo, but it's already past three in the morning, and Anni is just too tired to stay awake. Tony notices this, and decides to halt the session. He knows that he won't be able to finish the entire tattoo, as he is completely booked with more appointments.

It takes a second that feels way too long for the both of them to register the words, and Tony quickly occupies himself by turning off his gun and cleaning up her skin and his workspace to get the awkwardness out of his room. Anni tries to instantly stand up, but his palm holds onto her leg- silently ordering her to stay put, which she does. He rubs something over the piece, before he gently lifts her leg to wrap it. “I’ll give you a bottle of lotion for it. Leave that bandage on for.. I’d say until tomorrow morning at least. Afterwards, apply the lotion everyday to help it heal properly.” He lectures her with a gentle voice, before letting her sit up.

“Thanks.” Anni says, grinning eagerly at the now hidden artwork on her back. Tony chuckles.

“We’re not done yet, but I’ll take it.” He says. “I uh..” He starts, as she jumps off the stretcher and goes to put on her shirt. “uhm, look....I usually don't do this, but if you want me to get it done soon then you can stop by my place and I should be able to finish it....” He asks, a bit hurried, before he can chicken out again. And he exhausts himself for a moment, because he had literally been booked with appointments, and he couldn't even finish this one. Quickly scribbling down his address, and number, he quickly slides over the piece of paper to her.

Tony does something that he would never usually do - he offers to continue the tattoo session at his home studio, on his day off. He sees the excitement in Anni's eyes, and knows that he has made the right decision.

“Like a date?” Anni asks, and he really wants to hit himself with how much he blushed. Anni quickly catches wind of this, and smirks, “I'm joking of course."

“I mean, if you want it to be?” He says, swallowing as he averts his gaze, a sight very weird, trying to joke around as well. His hand runs through his hair, chain around his neck and piercings on his ears clattering against each other and making sounds as he moves, his combat boots nervously tapping the floor a little. “It doesn’t have to be.. I know you’re already-”

"Tony, Tony," Anni grabs his shoulders, trying to shake him of whatever delusional exasperated state he was in, "It's fine— I was just kidding."

Yep— that checks in, why would he ever have a chance with some badass proxy chick?

It's mandatory team movie bonding night at the compound, and everyone found out very quickly that Bruce has the same taste in movies as Jess from new girl. His justifications for old campy musicals and romantic comedies were always that they're heartwarming classics!!! how can you not like funny face!!!!! It's a classic!!!!! Classic!!!!!! Every time it's Bruce's night to pick you can guarantee you'll all spend the next two or three hours traipsing your way through a campy old musical movie, some of which not even Steve has heard of. Natasha playfully heckles Bruce for this, a bit that never fails to make you laugh.

"On a clear day you can see forever? I have never heard of that." Natasha states as she and Bruce bring in popcorn.

"She's got a point, Bruce," Clint says, backing her up.

"What's it even about?" Natasha asks.

"It's about a woman who falls in love with her hypnotherapist but the hypnotherapist falls in love with her past life." Bruce states with a chuckle. "It's a classic, Barbara Streisand and-"

"OH." Booms Thor, with a chuckle, "I LOVE THE DOLL WOMAN."

He means Dolly Levi from Hello Dolly, Bruce's last pick a few weeks ago. The next time, he picks Annie. Tony hands you another box of your favorite candy when he notices you finish yours as Grace and Oliver Warbucks talk about adopting Annie for real. You thank him quietly and he scratches your back affectionately. Grace dances through Oliver's mansion, singing with everyone who lives and works there about how happy they are to get to have Annie stay in their lives. You look over at your dad, who looks back at you. He's overwhelmed for a moment with that this is really my kid, this is my child feeling as you start to speak.

"Is that how you and Pepper felt when I came here?" You ask quietly. He looks at you affectionately, remembering the joy that spread through the entire tower when he and Pepper found out that everything was approved and you'd be staying with them forever. The jovial, wistful music swirls through the room.

"Yeah." He nods with a smile. "It was just like that."

You smile a little and turn back to keep watching, but Tony looks at you, thinking about how much he loves you. You are a miracle, and he could never have asked for a greater blessing in his life than getting to be your dad.

The way Tony handled this situation is so goddamn crazy. He later admits there was no need to humiliate Annie about her makeup in front of the class, and it was just a knee-jerk reaction to how much she looked like Surma. That's bad enough on its own. But then there's this!

What was the need for him to keep Annie in the classroom for the whole lesson? I imagine the lesson must have been about an hour long, if not longer. A whole hour Annie sat there in confusion and humiliation, unable to even speak to her friends about what she was feeling. And there was literally no need for her to be there in the first place. Tony could've spoken to her before the class or sent her away, and he just didn't. Was the Court preventing him from that? I sincerely doubt it. It was just his own selfishness, his own needs and feelings overruling those of his daughter.

I don't know if he purposefully wanted to humiliate her out of some sadistic urge, or if he just handled things extremely poorly due to his own inner turmoil, but either way... dad of the year, everyone.

Following Freddie Mercury's premature departure on 24 November 1991, the remaining members of Queen (John Deacon, Brian May and Roger Taylor) came together with their manager, Jim Beach, to organise a concert to celebrate the life and legacy of Mercury (and to raise money for AIDS research and spread awareness about the disease).

In the 1992 BRIT Awards ceremony, May and Taylor announced plans for the concert. When tickets finally went on sale, all 72,000 tickets sold out in just three hours, even though no performers were announced apart from the remaining members of Queen.

The concert, that celebrated the life and legacy of the legendary musician, was also a benefit concert for AIDS Awareness, with proceeds going to raise money for AIDS research and spread awareness about the disease.

It was held on Easter Monday, 20 April 1992, on the Easter Monday at Wembley Stadium in London, England, for an audience of 72,000. The concert was produced for television by Ray Burdis, directed by David Mallet and broadcast live on television and radio to 76 countries around the world, with an audience of up to one billion.

On May 15, 2020 Queen streamed the concert for 48 hours on their website in a bid to help raise funds for the World Health Organisation's COVID-19 relief fund.

The show marked John Deacon's final full-length concert with Queen (save a short live appearance with Brian May, Roger Taylor and Elton John in 1997). The profits from the concert were used to launch the Mercury Phoenix Trust, an AIDS charity organization.

"Good evening Wembley and the world. We are here tonight to celebrate the life, and work, and dreams, of one Freddie Mercury. We're gonna give him the biggest send off in history!"

The line-up at the concert was a veritable who's who of rock and pop music paying tribute to Freddie Mercury, with poignant tracks and covers of some of his greatest hits.

The concert opened with a message from the three remaining members of Queen in tribute to Mercury. The music then commenced with short sets from artists that were influenced by the music of Queen, including Metallica, Extreme (playing a Queen medley), Def Leppard (who brought Brian May onstage for a version of "Now I'm Here"), and Guns N' Roses. Between bands, several video clips honouring Freddie Mercury were shown while roadies changed the stage for the following act's performance. Elizabeth Taylor then gave an AIDS prevention speech, which was followed by a compilation of Mercury's various interactions with audiences.

The second half of the concert featured the three remaining Queen members – John Deacon (on bass), Brian May (on guitar) and Roger Taylor (on drums) – along with guest singers and guitarists, including Elton John, Roger Daltrey (of The Who), Tony Iommi (of Black Sabbath), Ian Hunter, David Bowie, Mick Ronson, James Hetfield (of Metallica), George Michael, Seal, Paul Young, Annie Lennox, Lisa Stansfield, Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin), Joe Elliott and Phil Collen (of Def Leppard), Axl Rose and Slash (of Guns N' Roses), Liza Minnelli, and others. Via satellite from Sacramento, California, U2 dedicated a live performance of "Until the End of the World" to Mercury.

Highlights on the night included George Michael and Queen performing 'Someone To Love', (with the singer later revealing he was singing the song to his partner in the audience who was dying of AIDS), David Bowie and Annie Lennox singing 'Under Pressure' and Queen, Elton John and Axl Rose giving a stunning rendition of 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.

Other notable moments saw Queen and Paul Young performing 'Radio Gaga', Seal singing 'I Want To Break Free', Elizabeth Taylor giving an AIDS prevention speech and David Bowie reciting the Lord's Prayer.

The huge list of other stars who gave performances or contributed to the concert included: Roger Daltrey, Spinal Tap, Bob Geldof, U2, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Robert Plant, Metallica, Lisa Stansfield, Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson, Gary Cherone and Tony Iommi.

The incredible show culminated in Liza Minnelli leading the full line-up of stars in a moving rendition of 'We Are The Champions' before the remaining band members of Queen led the crowd in a hugely emotional final chorus of 'God Save The Queen'.
