you kinda sat in silence with him every day until maze b survivors showed up

he'd never showed you the vents, although he did talk about escaping with you

could someone please explain to me why the tmr fandom refers to lizzy/sonya as "lizzy" most of the time over "sonya" because i need to know for future reference

like i know that sonya’s real name is elizabeth (lizzy) but many people just call her lizzy instead of sonya which i just would like to know if it’s a preference thing or something we should all be doing

thinking about how much better the maze runner series could’ve been if thomas and teresa were siblings.

the absolute agony teresa must’ve felt being so close to her brother, but unable to tell him she’s his sister ? the inner turmoil putting him through the trials in order to find a cure to the disease that so cruelly took their parents ? her inner struggle with turning the only family she has left against her for the cure would be so INTERESTING.

it would also be a really interesting parallel and personal struggle for teresa when they meet sonya. she KNOWS she’s newt’s sister, but she can’t tell them.. god does she want to, though. it would break her heart into a million pieces seeing them interact like strangers when she witnessed first-hand just how deeply newt cared for sonya. for lizzie.

in case it wasn’t clear i hate the romance.. it was so forced and made really weird after learning she had her memories and THEY WEREN’T A COUPLE BEFORE THE MAZE ?? Sonya’s hair colour?!

Her hair is described to be “reddish blond” in scorch trials while in fever code is described to be dark, “Thomas saw a girl curled up under a blanket, her arms wrapped around a pillow dark hair spilling out.” And later on when Newt says goodbye to her.

I get that people’s hair can change colour over time but this was what, 2-3 year difference? (Just before they go into the maze to when Thomas meets group B)
