When I first heard of it I was a little curious

I like the idea of two guys in a love triangle who after a while suddenly realize they are gay

Ngl sometimes their fighting is funny-

I LOVE their relationship in 'Race with the Demon!' (S3 EP6). Also I enjoyed their bonding in Wormquake and The Manhattan project. Also their handshake DAMN.

However though, I hate how this ship feels like it exists really to just bash on 2012 April. Many of the people I've seen ship Johnatello often bash or hate on April. Even going as far as to make her homophobic and resentful towards the two for being gay and getting attention.

Nowadays luckily since the bashing has kind of just died down, there aren't anymore Johnatello shippers who bash 2012 April with this ship.

Anyways- I like jock x nerd trope.

2012 Johnatello gets a solid 5.5/10 for me. Not a bad idea, enjoyable, can be funny, sadly the haters kind of ruined it for me, but overall it's pretty cute.

DNI if you ship iterations of Casey that are adults with Donnie who just a friendly reminder is a teenager. I'm only cool with 2012 and maybe Rise, as long as we are talking about Cassandra and not junior.

Johnatello would have to rely on Ray for things it can't do as they don't have arms. They also have three voices that all speak at the same time but say different things!

Ray is just chill most of the time and likes helping out Johnatello :)
