elias is the type who didn't really think about caregiving until it was just. presented to him. he does okay with kids, but to be honest he's never really been one for the messes they make

but with a regressor, he's just charmed by them. their little habits, babbles, and laughs make his heart soar, and when they cry it rips his heart out.

elias has...so many fancy things for his regressor to play with. fancy crayons, sketchbooks instead of computer paper, the newest montessori-like toys he can find, all that stuff. he also has the softest blankies, tons of cute clothes, and the Best snacks

he's a bit of a workaholic when it comes to the institute, so often his regressor is playing on the sofa in his office while he works, and when he takes breaks it's just watch the little one for a few minutes

not the best with direct comfort, but he does (of course) know how to identify what's wrong very quickly, and he can usually resolve the issue. regressor crying over a bad day because they had a fight with someone? yknow, elias has this pipe he found-

kidding, kidding! (mostly)

elias is very weak to little ones, and since he has the means to get them whatever they want, he gets them whatever they want. he buys...SO MANY build a bears...

i'm picturing him playing peak-a-boo and its the cutest thing too

lets his regressor sometimes just sit on his lap while he's working. he regrets this decision every time being now there's curious fingers all over his keyboard typing so many things and hitting so many keys and he's already not the best with computers oh no-

elias would be the type to like being called papa, i feel it in my bones

he would also let his regressor give him makeovers. he now is covered in lipstick where the regressor used it like a marker all over his face

he really hopes he hasn't forgotten about any meetings, because he just can't say no to his little one

i DO, thank u for asking!! (cw for some light angst)

-jon has two cat stuffies, one that he’s had since he was really young, the other martin gave to him

-they’re permanent fixtures when he’s regressed. he’s never separated from them for long

-(the older one is named bluebell, the newer one is named maple)

-doesn’t talk. only speaks in one or two word sentences unless he’s forced to sound ‘big’

-VERY embarrassed about his regression. doesn’t tell ANYONE

-martin has to put all the pieces together, research age regression, and tell jon “hey i think this might be helpful for you??” before jon is even willing to admit that there’s a tiny, remote possibility that maybe, sometimes, he occasionally feels a little bit younger than he is

-(they’re working on it)

-jon takes a long time to warm up to martin as a caregiver, even after they’ve already been together for a while, but once he does he’s very happy to be martin’s baby :)

-babbles a lot!! makes lots of noises just for fun!!

-he loves cats and bugs. he’s just obsessed with them

-(not anything worm-y tho)

-loves reading science books for kids!!

-likes easy reader books but won’t even touch any picture books

-he gets cold easily!! needs to be wrapped up in a blanket and/or fuzzy sweater at all time

-LOVES textured things!! could spend hours just running his hands over a soft blanket

-chews on EVERYTHING. he has chewelry but that doesn’t stop him from chewing on his clothes, martin’s clothes, the blankets, his stuffed animals, his toys, martin, literally anything in mouth range

-the sleepiest baby to ever exist. so so tired all the time

-VERY grumpy

-(but also giggly around martin)

-(tho he refuses to acknowledge the fact that he giggles)

-less uptight when he’s regressed, just wants to be cozy and sleepy

-still a very anxious little one though

-if he sees a spider he’s inconsolable for hours

-im convinced martin bought him some onesies, though it takes ages before he’s willing to wear them

-(when he finally tries them he immediately loves them)

-likes to play, but quietly. martin and jon’s home is always very quiet and peaceful when jon’s regressed, because the poor baby gets upset easily

If you'd be comfortable doing so, I'd love a matching outfit set for the magnus archives! If you're not familiar with that podcast, and the fictional characters within, it's a horror podcast which I know would maybe only appeal to a niche group of us regressors- But think cryptids and paranormal stuffs and spooky vibes! While the cryptids in the story have their own symbols, I'm not gonna ask for anything too specific so that way you have more creative freedom! ^^ there's..not really much out there for spooky flips/carers/regressors unless I just haven't found those blogs yet, but I think it'd be nice to showcase that it's alright to like spooky stuff while smol, or while taking care of a smol!

Hi there!! I have listened to multiple seasons of TMA but barely remember a thing about it. My knowledge of it is based on seeing fanart on tumblr, mostly. I remember friends telling me it was based on common fears, with a different fear each episode. But i also remember the eyes in the fanart and the spiral. I stuck mostly to the color scheme of green and black, with some added elements of fear and eyes and spirals.

I just want to say that i don't know every single person's childhood; what they considered the good parts. I know some people liked horror media as children and that could help them regress! Even if i personally couldn't handle it, that doesn't give me the right to tell you what you can regress with.

I thought I’d try something new that follows a new hyperfix! I hope you liked it

Regressed:

• such a sweetheart oh gods

• enjoys fruit snacks, and regular fruits too, just cut into smaller pieces

• carries around a stuffed animal, cries if he can’t find it

•enjoys neutral blue tones

• enjoys making his caregiver smile, draws for them all the time!

• very well behaved, wouldn’t misbehave at all

Caregiver:

• spoils his littles

• gives them one of his sweaters when it storms, makes you feel safer and warm

• knows how to make the best warm milk

• plays with you whenever he can, builds Lego sets, etc

• carries fun bandaids and stickers for when you get hurt

• the best hugs, very squishy

• very good reading voice!

so, jon likes to think he's a very calm, cool, collected cg. he has Activities planned, okay. he has a menu of all the different snacks and meal options that he knows his regressor likes, and he movies picked out, he knows what episodes of what shows are his regressors faves. he thinks he is the most Perfect cg

jon is not calm, cool, OR collected in any sense of the word

he is very excitable, and he often ends up being very emotional and loud. this can cause a few problems, because he will get loud and difficult to be around, and he has on more than one occasion accidentally made his regressor cry

he always apologizes profusely and will do anything in his power to right that injustice

jon also believes in the power of Blanket Burritos. little one is fussy and won't settle down? yelling? tantrum? well, it is time for the Blanket Burrito! just wrap em up in a blankie and set em on the sofa, time for movie night!

jon knows the names of all his regressor's stuffies, and he knows who is friends, enemies, family, and he knows aaaaaaall the drama surrounding his regressor's toys. there might be teddy bear murderers amongst the group, and he will always remember!

he is very attentive. he notices all the signs of his regressor slipping, or getting fussy, or needing a certain level of attention. the only problem is he doesnt always...know how to respond to that. in theory, he knows how to help his regressor slip, but in practice its not always that easy. and he knows what kind of attention/affection his regressor likes, but actually providing it can be awkward or difficult

trips to the library!! he loves using trips to the library as a reward for good behavior! always holding their hand, leading them around to look at the books, and when they get home he will read the new books to his baby!

is a short king, so unfortunately he sometimes needs to have his regressor reach things for him. this is embarrassing for him and amusing for his regressor

loves being referred to as dada it makes him feel very important, and the first time his regressor calls him dada he actually cries

uses nicknames like "little one" "dearest" and "darling" the most

I wish more tma agere fics didn't take place in universes where everything is just like silly funny cool and the entities aren't a main focus and it's just like cutesy fun times. LIKE OBVIOUSLY agere is like a comfort thing a lot of the time and this makes sense but I kind of wish it was more common to have like TMA agere stories that took place in more canon compliant universes
