I grew up with my grandma on my side ever since I was born. One of the things that has always etched on my memory is her sewing ripped clothes or making new ones; with her sewing supplies in a Royal Dansk biscuit/cookies tin can (believe me, I’ve been tricked so many times thinking that there’s cookies inside), and her old sewing machine which not only me, but my cousins played with it as if it’s a swing or some kind of vehicle. At her house, there’s a large framed cross stitch at the center of her living room (now placed between the living and dining room), which (if I’m not mistaken) my cousin did when she was young. It’s an image of an angel and it always catch my sight, looking it with astonishment. I know my grandma loves that piece so I created this “complex” vector— adding the “cross stitch” manually is a tedious process and it really took me a lot of time. As for the image I created, it was an inspiration of my grandma’s dress which she often wore in the past.
