Good Omens s02 musings...

Now that I've started to process all the emotions that have come from watching the brilliant but heart ripping season 2 of Good Omens, I have a few musings that I just can't shake:

When Jim has a Gabriel flashback on the word 'tempest' in episode 3 he says "There will come a tempest, and darkness, and great storms. And the dead will leave their graves and walk the earth once more. And there will be great lamentations." Is this referencing the Second Coming that we'll see in Season 3? Are the three 1941 Zombies going to return to lead the way? Was this what Gabriel said "Nah" to? Is this what Crowley sees when he goes to heaven and looks at Gabriel's file?

Why can Maggie invite the demons into the bookshop? Could any human have done that? We know Crowley can't 'technically' invite Shax in, we learn that when Crowley's minding the bookshop for Aziraphale's investigations in Edinburgh. Does it have something to do with the fact that Maggie's great grandmother had her record store inside the bookshop in the 1920s? Or is Maggie someone/thing else?

Why does Aziraphale's 'forget' miracle not work on Maggie and Nina in episode 5? At first I thought maybe another miracle blocker was in play, but just after he tries to help them forget, he miracles the chandelier away and sets up his defences...

I loved this season so much and am really enjoying/finding it frustrating trying to sort through it!
