i keep getting empty notes on my posts & i dont understand why. like it says i have a note, but there’s nothing. i look on a post & it says 2 likes but then i look and it only displays one name. why is it doing this. it’s kinda creeping me out.

so there's only an hour left of 2023... i wanted to write something about the year and how it passed.

it doesnt come back to me as much as i would like it to, i spent it working and watching lectures, reading discussion posts, and trying- trying so hard to write, only to lose myself to comforting daydreams that didn't challenge me, just buffered the world and let it slip away from me.

still, an inconclusive list of things, however small, that i did and i'm proud of:

make new friends on tumblr despite being someone prone to keeping to themselves

finished two more semesters of grad school

earned all the credits i need to graduate (cant say i graduated yet boooo)

started my seven sentences event and fulfilled some prompts; maybe i havent finished answering all of them yet but im very proud of the ones i have done

grew some potatoes!!

saw a therapist for the very first time and worked on myself

crocheted a very special froggie friend and started some wips i love

went on my first roadtrip with a friend and had as best a time as i could make it despite it being rainy 24/7 and being ill

learned more and more about archiving at work!! i know things now!!!

and i persevered, even though it was hard and i was empty and hollow inside. maybe it's a placebo effect, but i think i have words again. i have feelings deep in my bones, i have stories on my tongue, and i have not told them all yet. i can persist on here and i will persist; no matter what, i'm here to stay.

Stubled upon your post about saga and it was a very interesting read. I have to say that i havent noticed mich racism, but thats mostly becuse i started avoiding gamming websites when the release date came.

I saw a few ppl on Reddit angry about the "white asshole" line. That line is weird but it makes sense in context. Shes at her absolute lowest, unable to resurface back and fight againts her self doubts. Shes spiraling! And alan did put her in there, kind of. While we can see in their interactions that she doesnt hate him or anything, her feelings of anger and sadness take over, making her lash out as someone rven though she knows its not really his fault. And as some said, it reflects racism of the real world and tells us soemthing about saga - that she experienced this kind of feeling before, implying greater history. And idk, just feels that it makes sense for a black charscter to agnowladge these issues.

The gaming bros were definitely the worst offenders of it, so you were smart to ignore the gaming websites. It's why I had such high hopes for tumblr and AO3 because I thought for sure Saga would be the most popular new character. Sucks that I was wrong.

The "another white asshole telling me what to do" line CAN seem out of left field, but at the same time, perfectly fits the narrative. Because up to that point, nobody was telling her what to do. The only person who could have immediately took himself out of that position.

At the point the line was uttered, she was at her lowest, like you said and it was evident she had been in that position before. It gave us another character trait in Saga and another hint at her backstory. Alan tried to play God with her life, however unintentionally and Saga had every right to be angry at him.

The fact that she DIDN'T hate him says so much about her, and it's all wonderful. She chose to forgive him. As a black woman, it made sense to reflect on that, however brief the moment was, and I appreciated it.

tbc my beef w her is not a beef its just a matter of personal preference n not liking the two (2) vids ive seen from her . i dont like that she does tumblr summaries with the vibe of and aren't these people crazy. arent these people cringe. couldnt be me. i just have a tumblr accoutn and rubber neck them. i remember her johnlock vid got flack from ppl involved in tjlc for being inaccurate. and i remember a lot of ppl i follow preemptively blocking her when she announced she was making a destiel vid based on the way she would yoink tumblr posts for her vid without asking you if it was ok to like. put your post on blast to 2 million views while she implied it was embarrassing and cringe. um and then the destiel vid she made didn't live up to my standards of accuracy and completeness . in my memory she actively reached out to someone for their recollection of johnlock the cultural moment and did no such thing for destiel just based it on what was hitting the top posts part of the destiel tag in november of 2020. thats all. went back to look for my posts abt it at the time and here's one sample.

havent finished the vid yet but i think there are more points to be made about parasocialism – she mentions that it was easy for fans to interact with creators/cast because of the simultaneous rise of social media/conventions/the cultural shift where shipping wasn’t taboo, but i think there’s definitely something to be said about how the creators were a large part of encouraging that. they were using fan inserts back in season 4. they Knew what was going on in fan spaces to the point where they referenced names of real bnfs, and they made the decision to goad and wink and play it up instead of adhering to the norm of looking the other way. like. there is a parasocialism there to be sure, but no one MADE them say the words wincest and destiel and sastiel on the show. creators/writers played a fairly significant part in crafting the fan environment that was crafted. imo

and now im mad again lmao bc you cannot talk about fans being parasocial and then not say and isn't it FUCKED that eric kripke name dropped real forum mods and forum members as stupid and cringe in his television show. oh and she was a chronic name searcher. she was always reblogging untagged posts abt her to argue with somebody. and they werent like. i know this is a big ask but you seem knowledgable! i have no idea what homestuck is, wasn't it an online comic that internet (tumblr) went full ham on? i don't know if it's like, monster fantasy or cyberpunk, much less what the plot actually is. (and it apparently goes second person a lot so people just assumed harrow the ninth was Like That and didn't question the Plot Point.) But people like it and apparently it has a recognizable fanartist style lol

anyways my question is, since tamsyn muir is a fan of it and people can tell that from the locked tomb books, do you know how homestuck could have influenced the locked tomb? how different might the series have been if tazmuir hadn't been a homestuck fan? like, i'm kinda confused but intrigued by how the locked tomb fandom is able to tell all this about the author/series and wanted to find out some more about it from people who are in both fandoms.

How did you actually come up with mayhem x not cup? It seems like such a weird yet canon ship I love it I want to learn more

Oh i actually had art of that ship waaaaay back before posting on tumblr

Made this around the middle of last year. And then i posted this when i first started tumblr (you long-time fishies/followers out there who was with me with my first post might remember this lol)

From all i could remember from my past-self's thoughts, Not-Cup was, from what i imagined, a hollow and black eyed version of Cuphead that appeared in real Cuphead's dream in the labyrinth. Which is waaaaay different cuz in the canon, its actually just the usual cuphead that we know, except evil with toungue. I was wondering why he was in the Tear—was he an anomaly like mayhem? Was he an illusion like ava and black hat? Or is he smth else like i dunno, a future cuphead that is potentially possessed by an ink machine part? (As you guys know, when a character gets possessed by this shit, their eyes turn black like Cog!Holly, Cog!Cala and Instument!boris and sarah. Except the brush with mick tho, i dunno why is that)

But anyway, this question gets unanswered leaving me to headcanon that he is an "actual" character and not just a manifestation or illusion of the labyrinth. Just like Mayhem who we thought was an illusion till she's revealed to be an actual character in the series. (This question regarding Not-Cup is still unanswered lol, regardless of an answer, im still shipping them)

Now, onto the actual question, well i dunno if u ship cuphead and holly (i do) and if you'd notice, witchbrew is (obviously) a parallel of the colly ship. Colly are in the hero side, while Witchbrew is on the villain side. I would love to see an actual couple be villains, it sucks that theyre always single XD. If Cuphead had his Holly, then why cant Mayhem have her Not-Cup, hm? Nah-uh aint gonna let that happen

And then boom! This shit--i mean ship is created. Lol i dunno if this makes any sense 😭

Also this ship has ties with my theory regarding of Mayhem's origin and if there will be a canon origin of her story thats gonna be different from my theory, well, lets say this might just be a small fanon ship that randomly came outta nowhere XD

Regarding their origin love story, it starts with my theory that Mayhem is the future Holly that is fully possessed by the cog when the questers went to the desert (forgot its name) to finf the machine. Cuphead goes desperate and asks help from a part? (Eh, i really havent thought about how cuphead got possessed lol) And then he teams up with Mayhem.

The problem is, Cuphead did it out of love, regrets (regret that he didnt manage to save holly even tho it wasnt his fault), and guilt. While Mayhem got possessed by the Cog due to her previous connection to it that got stronger. So i this ship, its painfully one-sided. Painful truth.

But when interacting, they act a bit like a bickering couple, Mayhem being the terrifying teaser she is while Not-cup is the sarcastic serious one. Tho he sometimes act like the actual Cuphead Dish from the questers. They may also act a bit like the duplicates of Colly in appearance.

Not-Cup likes to help Mayhem mess with the Questers as they try to hunt down and restore the duo.

And as for Chaos the Cat... I dunno where the fuck does he fit in lol

From what i remember i think i had a digital version of Mayhem's Tango? Its burried deep down in the ocean... Btw Mayhem's tango was inspired by the song "You'll be mine (Alice's Tango)" by Chi-Chi. I also had other songs that i associate mayhem with (mostly its just bendy fansongs lol) but i dunno if u wanna hear abt it :/

32) Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you?

i listen to SO MUCH MUSIC!!!!! it depends on what im wrting tbh but i just queue up a bunch of songs in my liked playlist and write and write until it ends or im no longer on that flow. and well my music taste is an absolute mess so there isnt any one definitive band or genre that does it for me (i only pay attention Sometimes) but i suppose artists like mitski and queen would be a decent summary of my taste 😅

50) How did you get into reading and/or writing fanfiction?

gravity falls, no stop. the first one that ever piqued my interest was versability (originally on ff.net me thinks) and god damn it HOOKED ME!!!! gravity falls was already getting me up but wow that just got me SO MUCH HIGHER. i have a few authors i started binge reading like thesnadger and pinesinthewoods, i started extracting fics from reccs from tumblr artists, soon discovered ao3, and never looked back. and as for writing fic,,,,, well frankly it was the search for the cure’s original form that got me GOING!!!! it originally had crappy ocs as the forefronters but i soon changed that lmao (im definitely not saying theyre bad in general, just those… no) and i wrote So Much For It on my notes app. i didnt realize i culd actually show people until way later, in which i did, and realized that it could actually be better. thats why i reversed back to part one, made the story a part two, scapped the ocs, and…now we’re here. i still love it and gravity falls, i dont really show it here anymore. i really should, man. i need to write for them again!!!! it still excites me!!!! and the prose that im weaving now,,,, id DEMOLISH THE GAME!!!!!!! :)

MMMMMMMM. mmmmm. just YES. the psychological affects of both being a time loop and thinking someone you love is dead but they arent actually are DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!! they are a MUST HAVE. i daydream constantly, but i havent written time loop yet because while i love it, i havent hadthe motive to write such a thing myself. reading is chill ✊ and presumed dead well i try to throw it is as much as i can, the most recent ive used being a west end town and my favorite being that one kid from jersey ! i need to do more of these fr. its just so GOOD!!!!!!

okay. its finally time for the brainwashing discussing of the fic ! i can tell you alllll about that story and it will be my pleasure sonny 🫡 its a very long story. but short verison in case you dont want to go on: its a Titanic epic . april 1912. iceberg. ive read a few that are AMAZING, but i wanted to write one that catered it allll to Me. it has lesbians, heaven sucking ass, flood parallels, and a king of the world AND draw me like one of your french girls scene. very nice 🔥

okay now its time for the long story. so a super super long time ago for a post i cant even remember (i really wanna find it 😭😭) i for someone reason went on a tangent about the titanic. i had just read this fic called sinking into the sea which was tbh VERY GOOD (and i would read it again fr fr ) but at the time, i was kinda bummed that aziraphale and crowley never actually Interacted when i had expected. aziraphale didnt even know crowley was there!!! it left me feeling melancholy, and realizing that all of the titanic fics ive ate up to that point didnt HIT hit the spot (i didnt find this after this realization, but again, theyre not even on the boat 🤧) so i was feeling a bit incomplete. i started ranting and ranting it was a wholeee wall of a text of what I would do with a titanic story and i realized oh wait i can Do Something with this because i haev free will and actual (somewhat) coherent skill. pepper jumped on the wagon, REALLY REALLY encouraged which i cant thank enough for, and….we’re here. its brewing. i had a very large interest in the titanic for a long time before this tbh, so being able to insert it into The Interest just JUMPSTARTED my brain and it still does to this day. now for the plot….

its 2020, a year after the apocalypse (no pandemic). anathema, newt, brian, crowley, and aziraphale have been assigned to plan adam’s 12th birthday party—they shenanigan, as you do. on the day of the party (adam’s birthday) anathema and newt find a chest in jasmine cottage’s attic full of titanic relics, including a pack of polaroid photos (handheld cameras did indeed exist in 1912, i checked !) which kinda might sort of have a photo of aziraphale and crowley!?!?! it was sent to them about six months before. but after the whole Second Volume fiasco, anathema just sort of wrote it off in that way and Hid It. but newt was curious, he found it, and god it was writtent his way wasnt it. (well, not by the nutter they were thinking of actually). anathema confronts them about itsoon after, and they all sit down to hear the story of the titanic in a sort of rose dawson beat. then its 1912—50ish years since the holy water incident and almost a century since the resurrectionists disaster. aziraphale has been assigned to take this trip to new york for Some Reason (we found out why later) and happened to invite crowley to come along to attempt to make amends after Allat (he really does feel bad, but he will NOT do the holy water thing yet </3) shit occurs, but history atlarge will not be rewritten. it does change their story, though. adding a sprinkle of interest in the device family line. agnes prophec(y)(ies), dancing on deck under the stars, playing cards with humans and winning by a Lot, aziraphale’s artistic skills are put to use at one point—ughghgufhits just so DEAR TO ME!!!!! and of course the conflict will come later, especially considering the religious connections to the titanic sinking—“not even God can sink this ship” type conversation 🥰 aziraphale can and will be made uncomfortable. its for the character development dont worry about it. i even have a playlist for this fic (it sorted by the way the tone shifts thru the story, some songs are silly but they had to stay). pep has also made some song covers to some of the songs that ive heavily connected to the fic and I REALLY FUCKING LIKED. LIKE A LOT. THEYRE AMAZING YOU SHOULD LISTEN IF YOU WANT TO!!!!

the point of all this is that i like titanic fics and im trying to throw my hat in the ring even if its just for me and my friend 🔥🔥 because while others have fed me, i havent seen ones that have documented like Every Single Day on the titanic that aziraphale and crowley would theoretically have as well as developing aziraphale and crowley’s relationship while taking into account whats happened before (insert the story into a part of the timeline seamlessly i think thats how i’d describe) AS WELL AS connecting the reason why the titanic was such a freak tragedy and how the world is not fucking fair instead of just “oh whoops the thing sank 😞” i want NITTY GRITTY DETAIL!!!!!! I WANT GUILT!!!!!!! I WANT CHAOS!!!!!!!! I WANT TALKING ABOUT GOD!!!!!!! I WANT AZIRAPHALE IN A MENTAL CRISIS!!!!! I WANT CROWLEY JUST WANTING TO FUCKING LIVE FUCKING PEACEFULLY!!!!!!! i definitely agree that a lot of boobers are so fucking weird about them, there’s no argument there.

but specifically about the “replying to posts like theyre friends” thing, i feel like that’s just tumblr culture (for lack of a better term) honestly. responding to ppl’s posts like it’s a conversation has always been normal here in my experience.

i will say, i havent particularly seen those replies, so i dont know how far/bad they are when you refer to them, but just generally i think thats the least weird thing they do.

(i dont mean to sound like a “ive been in tumblr 50 years and this is just The Way 🤬” by the way, i mean this completely normally, im just bad at tone)

But yeah, I can definitely see that! I do know it’s part of Tumblr culture to respond to other people. But I feel an issue with how a lot of replies under Ranboo’s posts do it is that they either

A.) just be really weird (a lot of which are making jokes about Ranboo’s queerness or “joking” about them being transfem or fem-leaning, which they’ve never stated was a thing I’m pretty sure)

I know people call each other faggot in a positive/endearing way here, which is awesome! But like it’s still weird to do it to someone you don’t know, and don’t know is comfortable with the term I think.) People also tend to reply to serious posts in this way, which is fine for the most part, but I feel drifts into being more of a “we’re friends I’m comforting a friend.” Sort of thing occasionally.

All of this, combined with how Boobers also will hound Ranboo about shit on other social medias, (BooTWT is like. Weirdly possessive over Ranboo being their “ideal content creator” and whenever he does something that they don’t like they FREAK OUT. Either demanding an apologies or harassing other people. ConnorEatsPants being harassed about Genloss comes to mind, along with Boobers harassing Tommyinnit a lot of the time as well. And they’re just dicks to a lot of people in general.) people will somewhat mimic that behavior here, although seemingly to a lesser degree than Twitter. And while replying to posts is usually harmless, I feel like people just get too friendly or behave oddly to Ranboo, who’s someone they don’t know, and who doesn’t know THEM. It’s just a lot weirder than the average Tumblr account interaction I think. And while replying to them is fine!!! I have no issues with that (And I’m obviously not going to stop anyone or try to police how ppl interact with others) I just feel like people need to step back a bit and be like “I’m interacting with someone I am a stranger to.” rather than “I know a lot about this person. Therefore we are friends.”

Hiii, wanted to answer this in te comments but didnt know that tumblr doesnt let you write long comments soooo, i’ll share you here my thoughts about your last post.

I feel like in new friendships we do take things slow at the beginning as a protective mechanism for ourselves because even if you are interested in the other person, they may not feel the same way about you and it is better to start things slow and not to rush them out. Simple and short conversations to now if you are compatible and stuff. Thats how i think friendships go most of the time. Ofc it may not be necessary that way and it would work out in a matter of a day or so. I have 2 friends that met each other at college in the first day of the semester and somehow found out they had a lot in common and they clicked sooo well, they started being friends that day and currently they are still best friends. It’s insane…hasnt happened to me yet hahaha.

In the dating department i’m not sure because i havent dated anyone lol so take my opinions with a pinch of salt. But maybe that feeling of acting hard to get and showing desinterest to a potential partner actually makes the person more invested in knowing you. Like, i don’t really get the psychology behind it but maybe people that are already interested get intrigued enough to keep trying to know the person that is acting aloof. And i do think that taking things slow and chatting casually is kind of the same for friendships. You start slow to test the waters first, make sure if you are compatible etc.

But that thing about showing interest and people stop talking to you because of that…idk it might happen because it feels like they are too desperate? or maybe like they want something else? That intensity may be scary but i do think it depends on the situation and the people involved. Still, generally, if we dont focus on things like feeling afraid of intimacy and stuff, most people would want to be a little more hard to get to not seem like…keen and desperate? And that way the other person can feel like it wants to meet you more, like cracking a code. If it’s too difficult and you are not that interested to begin with, you probably will walk away, and if you are interested, it may awake your curiosity and interest to keep going.

About what you say in yours tags, i believe you have to give yourself credit for trying to be friends with people. When we are younger we may just stick around people because of proximity and because we are young and tend to be more friendly(?? like, you are friends with your neighbours because they live close and you go out and play, and then you are friends at school because you see each other everyday and are still developing your personality and you are all learning together and probably you go with the flow more easily than when you are an adult. You may start working with people with widly different interests than you and people have more defined personalities and have lost their childlike-way of interacting with people. We are more careful about it maybe. And yes, compared to when you were in school, you naturaly interact with less people regularly and it is more difficult to meet people compatible enough to be friends. Unless you go out frequently to meet new people (personally still struggling with that hahaha).

Anyways, this was an interesting way to start my day: actually using my brain. Did i make sense? Hopefully yes ajdksk

I think you're hitting all the points I was thinking too! Slow and steady is probably the most natural and comfortable way to approach any kind of relationship, unless you find that kind of instant connection like your friends had!

It's all a very interesting dynamic/phenomenon for sure. I found some articles talking about how being too 'nice'/'open' can make people feel like you have ulterior motives, because why else would someone be so nice to us? Or, like you said, it's read as desperation, because apparently people are only openly interested and invested when they have no other options -> and if they have no other options, there must be something wrong with them.

I remember being like 5 years old and this other kid really really wanted to be my friend for some reason, and I just wanted nothing to do with them? It went so far that the kid told the teachers that I wasn't playing with them and tried to have it happen that way :'C Looking back I think I was also being a lil asshole lmao, but I also remember feeling uncomfortable with the way the kid just wouldn't leave me alone and would just follow me around when I clearly wasn't interested. So maybe it's also some natural reaction on some level?? Because I don't think I was rejecting the other kid to be malicious. I don't know, we were really young though, so I don't know how that'd apply later in life with adults' social skills.

It's so fascinating, because there definitely are personalities and times when a person just is genuinely... a nice person? genuinely interested in us? no ulterior motives but being friendly and wanting to get to know us? There's also a plenty of reasons why people might not have friends currently, and it doesn't mean there's something wrong with them. As someone who had to build a new social cycle as an adult, this assumption always made me feel some sort of way lol. Like, people move cities/countries/jobs? People have health issues? People realise the friend circle they had wasn't a good fit? I find it sad that wanting to have (new) friends/not having friends is so easily labelled desperate or even a red flag (which it can be! but I think it should be checked case by case basis), but then again, I think that's more down to the way the person looking for friends goes about it?

These articles I found were from a romantic relationship perspective btw, but I think it probably applies to friendships too.

Im sorry this has nothing to do with acotar but i need to get this off my chest and I cant put it on my main blog because i wanna tell you guys about a weird person here on tumblr but ive interacted with them before and we share a very small fandom and we're gonna watch the 1989 musical adaptation of the hit movie Metropolis together today, and I do NOT want them finding this post or connecting it to me somehow

Anyway, I talk a lot about Elisabeth: das Musical on here even when its not really relevant, and the thing about Elisabeth is that its about an austrian empress who was alive some 125 years ago so its historical rpf and any fan creations based on it are implicitly also historical rpf, and for some reason my brain reacts very badly to that so i cant properly interact with the fandom even though i would very much like to. So i thought to myself "I need to start microdosing on Elisabeth fandom in order to build up an immunity and cure my brain of its weird reaction" and I decide follow someone who i know makes a lot of really good analysis posts, not just for elisabeth but for some other musicals I enjoy as well. So far so good. But after a few days i come to realise that theyre not just very interested in the musical but also in the real life austrian imperial family of the mid-to-late 1800s, specifically Archduke Rudolf (who was Elisabeths son). They re just full-on blorboposting about this archduke who killed himself

And Im not gonna lie, something about that does discomfort me a lot, but i think its a kind of discomfort that i need in my life so. Idk i guess my point here is, pick some random timeplace in history that youre interested in and pick out some historical figure that was alive then and then try to find someone whos really weird about them on tumblr. Just make sure theyre just weird-weird and not like, nationalist-weird. Iirc the person Im talking about is from finnland and it seems like they mostly use their encyclopedic knowledge of rudolf specifically to write gay fanfics about him and the personification of death, so yeah. Now I really wonder which one came first, like were they obsessed with this guy before seeing the musical and then the musical allowed them to channel that into gay fanfic, or did they discover this musical and it led them to become obsessed with him? Questions, questions, although they do also post about other rudolf-media, which there isnt that much of especially compared to the amount of elisabeth-media thats out there, I think its pretty much just a musical and that 2006 movie. Opinion from some that doesnt currently post my work on tumblr(I have in the past), but does post on AO3 and how myself and peers use/view tumblr. I would like to note, RPF and F1 aren’t my normal wheelhouse; but I do feel like the ideas are consistent across fandoms. I also see this topic so much more on Tumblr than I do on any other site. And I would like to remind you that Tumblr isn’t really “meant” for posting your fanfictions. It’s done often, but it’s not a platform that makes it easy to read fics on. It might be worth it to make the jump over to AO3 or wattpad { if anyone asks I will never admit to recommending wattpad. it really is a hellsite (not affectionate)}

likes=Tumblr’s version of kudos, it’s a signal that I didn’t DNF your post. It’s the acknowledgment that I recognize that you spent time on this content.

Reblog= are the equivalent of me recommending something to a friend. if it’s not something that I stand behind 100% I’m not likely to reblog.

Comments= are for interactions. I and others normally don’t rush to leave a meaningful comment on Tumblr until we feel comfortable. There nothing worse for a reader that’s taken the time to read a work, leave a thoughtful comment hoping to have someone to geek out over how awesome something is and get a lackluster response.

Asks= especially anons because that seems to be the benefit.

Requests for part 2 or 3 normally mean that the story was unfulfilling for the reader. Either the fic wasn’t what they were looking for, which isn’t anyone’s fault and they hope a part 2 would satisfy that “craving” i.e. give them what they had originally been looking for or story doesn’t feel “finished” and again doesn’t feel satisfying. Especially when a work is marked as a one-shot.

When I see people complain about their work not being reblogged I compare it to the experience of giving a good review/tipping because someone is standing there vs because the service is good. It’s like an author thinks you can shame someone into reblogging.

well fun fact, i actually have an ao3 & wattpad up, where i posted the winner takes it all. i just wanted to see how fics appeal to readers on every site and so far, i think i just prefer tumblr because of all the possible interactions to have with more people. i havent really attempted to make connections on wattpad (bc i agree that place is an actual hellsite (deg)) or ao3. i met some pretty awesome people on this site and its the reason i stay. but i've been contemplating making the move completely for a while.

now to be clear, i dont think every single one of my fics deserves a million likes and reblogs, i don't think my shit is even that great in comparison to the vast majority of writers across all fandoms. im just lil ole me. i'm mostly frustrated with the lack of reblogs on fics where i get constant comments about part 2 part 2 part 2. like i've seen users who comment part 2 but dont even interact with the fic and it's just so offputting ya know? anyways im rambling, i do appreciate this insight a lot. thanks for coming in.

for most "tumblr alternatives" i signed up for, i found a use for. twitter, i use to practice jpn and interact with an interest that just doesnt exist on tumblr. for dreamwidth, ive used it to post my ideas and now some of my writing

for cohost... i still havent figured something else. the userbase sometimes describes it as "a small town where you know everyone", which i do think is accurate, but it also means. it feels so hard to get in. and a lot of stuff i want to see, whenever i tried to look for it over multiple months, doesnt seem to exist there
