grieving with bpd is so... i wont say its worse or anything cuz im really not about that shit, anyone and almost everyone can and has felt this pain before, its a constant of life, but.. when im not actively sobbing and depressed and my mood switches up, it makes me feel so guilty. i should be spending that time in misery, i should be wailing and wiping more snot from my nose and my head should hurt worse like it was a few minutes ago, but yknow. emotional permanence n all that

its so funny, they keep trying to get me to believe in god, she says he'll show himself to me and ill find him my own way. i respect that she at least respects im not there yet (i dont think ill ever be truthfully but we can agree to disagree), but i just keep losing more and more, and any faith i had gets ripped away in an instant. there is no god worth worshipping, because someone worth worshipping would not put me through this pain again and again and again

3 pets dead within a YEAR. riley died june 29, 2022, talcum died in october of 2022, and now artemis, today. may 24. it hasnt even been a full year since riley died. i cant keep doing this man

i find myself less hopelessly despaired and choking on my spit wailing sad like the last two, only because im started to.. lose faith in everything. i feel cynical, it makes me MAD

because i did everything right this time. with riley, i made the mistake of even THINKING that it couldve been cancer, and then it was. i know that wasnt my fault, he had the tumor before i even came to visit and before we took him to the vet, but its still incredibly hard not to blame myself for that. talcum died of stress, because bruce kept jumping on his bird cage. i was so ashamed with myself that my MOM (who doesnt even view our pets as family, more like accessories) noticed talcum wasnt singing like he used to. i didnt even notice until the day after when my sibling was on the phone with every vet he could call to see if they took birds

i was optimistic this time, because it looked hopeful! it seemed like she would be okay, i told myself itll be fine and that we'll fix her up and she'll live longer because she deserves to. obviously that was completely useless because shes dead now, so none of that mattered. i didnt even get to say goodbye to her. i said bye when i left my grandmas house a few days ago, but.. its not the same.

i did everything right this time and obviously it didnt fucking matter because theres no fixing that. theres nothing you can do, death is the worst part of life and it never goes away. never gets easier, you can never outrun it. it makes me so sad that the ones who dont deserve it get it first. i know they were old cats but artemis wasnt THAT old. she probably wouldve lived happily for quite some time after, if everything turned out good. ive known them since i was 7. theyve been in my life forever, and now theyre both gone

god it hurts so much, it never gets easier. i just feel so hopeless right now. i wish i could freeze time, and we could just exist as we are forever. but i cant do that

You winced when you hear the wheels of your 10 year old beat up Voltzwagon Bug screech over gravel. It was only your 3rd week on set as the head makeup artist’s apprentice. You’d really only gotten this (rather low) paying gig through a family member who works in the industry. That all being said, you were running about 20 minutes late since you had gotten lost yet again.

With a hasty grab of your plastic makeup kit, you ran to the trailers ready to apologize profusely to Carol who already seemed to hate you. Much to your surprise you sped into an empty trailer.

“Fuck,” You muttered and peak your head out attempting to spot any sign of your boss.

A man from prop team passed the door, he was about your age and you’d become cordial – not friendly, but cordial.

“Hey!” You projected your whisper to catch him. He tugged his headset visibly irritated and gave you an eyebrow that said, ‘get on with it’.

“Do you know where Carol is?”

“I don’t know, I haven’t seen her. I think someone say she’s sick, probably Covid or something.” He replied casually with a shrug.

“What! What am I supposed to do!” Still whisper yelling even though he was speaking at normal volume.

He shrugged, “Guess you’re on your own.”

“Fuck.” Pushing a stray hair from your now sweating forehead.

He gave a grin that normally came with a warning, “Good luck, we got one of the main guys on set today.”

“What? Who?” God as if this couldn’t get any worse.

“You’ll see, we’re mainly shooting him today. So, you’ll be out there, lots of fighting scenes.” And with that he paced quickly away to wherever he was rushing to in the first place.

“Oh god.” You flipped to be flush against the side of the opening as if it would hide you.

In the little time on set of ‘Bikeriders’, you’d already been able to identify who to avoid and who was safe. Between the actors and the crew there were such a mix of personalities. The actors were especially hard since you could never tell what was their character and what wasn’t.

You and Carol had spent most of the time with Tom Hardy, who looked scary but was actually a big teddy bear. He had even come up with some nicknames for you, mainly ‘puppy’ or ‘shadow’. Since you followed Carol around like a lost puppy and basically became her perpetual shadow. Both were a little odd, especially ‘puppy’, but whatever it was better than most other things you’d been called.

An abrupt knock at the metal door ripped you from your panicked thoughts, a lanky shaggy haired blonde bolstered through the trailer and plopped himself in front of the large lit mirror. He was already in costume, leather jacket, dirty jeans, boots. The whirlwind of the day had rendered you paralyzed against the wall which you had forgotten reflected directly into the mirror.

“Well, are ya gonna get started or what?” A deep raspy voice came from the man, not even turning to look at you, just at the reflection.

“Oh-Oh yeah, sorry.” Immediately peeling from the wall and fumbling to set up your small kit on the vanity.

Just the air of his presence told you that he would be one to avoid.

You began plucking through various bottles of fake blood and latex, before realizing just how unprepared you were to do this alone. The feeling of his eyes boring into you only made the anxiety worse.

“Do you know what scene we’re doing?” He asked condescendingly, obviously picking up on your nervousness.

With a giant bottle of thick red liquid in hand, you turned to him wide eyed, “I – um, well, I-“

“You gonna spit it out or what?” Snapping his fingers before you were even able to form a coherent sentence.

e3: -"i am perfect 🥰" fuck u know what sometimes the charles leclerc charm does get to me ngl -"breaking america is very important" OH IS IT. let andretti join then -i'll say it. miami isn't that bad. you can critisize the consumerism of it all without being so anti-america yall -fuck caitlyn jenner but her gushing to christian horner abt how great it is that ferrari is winning is iconic -i did watch this season but i did after the fact /knowing/ max was gonna win in the end. its sorta hitting me how it did really look like, oh my god, charles could really win here. just lookin at his lil face thinking how much did he get his hopes up. how much did i hurt, watching it slip away. how do u even handle that emotionally -i know i've talked abt this before but when i was binging the 2022 season i got super drunk before/while watching miami and when i woke up in the morning i remembered basically nothing other than carlos taking his shirt off (priorities). i watched the race highlights sober and was surprised by the lando crash. lol -if anything this rewatch is putting me back in my max girlie era. chomp chomp chomp. and/or i'm ovulating. combination of both -cannot wait for padel game 2023 edition on dts. it will be superior i know it -i do think its wierd that theyre framing (trying to) prioritize charles as a mean thing to do when its exactly what merc did in 2021 for lewis and it was 100% necessary both times. the guy who said 'ferrari won with the wrong car' wasnt wrong thats just how this shit works!!! -idk why dts couldn't just explain that max has non terminal but non fixable damage and thats why he was so damn slow. i feel like it wouldve been so easy to just mention. give context to why he couldnt get back up there -i dont think having multiple episodes focus on the same race from different perspectives is the worst thing ever, but i do think they fucked it up here by having the silverstone episodes back 2 back 2 back...... at least mix it up a lil. put another episode inbetween so we've forgotten by the time its being rehashed is it rly that hard

the unformatted stream of consciousness edition

i started working on monday. it's alright, been connecting with ppl, not being overly shy but i'm still adjusting to actually working 8 hours straight bc i've been doing legit nothing for 5 months straight. the people at my workplace are nice enough especially the ladies like there's one who i was lowkey scared of bc she kinda has a rbf and just looks so girlboss and professional but i messaged her and we talked and she's actually really nice :) anyway i've had enough work experience being the new guy and onboarding online that i'm not as scared as i would've been + i already know people at this company so i can kinda show my worth from the start

i got my period on friday and i was fucked up yesterday and today from cramps/headache so i got barely anything done so i need to do some work tmr cry T_T i need to remember work is not school i can't just procrastinate everything and i should actually work during and only during work hours. i give myself a pass though bc friday was just awful. also i was supposed to learn python before i started working but i didn't but idk feel like i can wing it there. i already know r and i learned java in highschool so it might actually be a breeze not to toot my own horn but i'm like pretty smart so

it feels like my pms (except its not really pre- more like first/second day of period) symptoms are getting worse the older i get. sometimes the symptoms are okay but more of them are just awful than not. i get really nasty headaches and intense fatigue for one, really bad cramps, joint pain and lower back pain, sometimes my boobs swell up and are really tender (compared to the normal level of tender), i'm either very irritable or sad, i feel like i can't eat and i'm bloated or gassy, i'm like constipated but i also need to shit all the time. like i cannot focus with these conditions. i couldn't this week bc its legit my first week lmao but i might start taking sick days for really bad periods. also maybe bc i took a walk before i started work but my allergies were REALLY bad all day

idk if it's my body aging (which is crazy bc i'm not even 23) or if it's bc i don't exercise as much as i should but idk i still do, like yes i do sit on my ass a LOT but i use the exercise bike a couple times a week and i lift a little bit (not as much as i used to). i haven't been able to go swimming in a while bc i think i had a uti (i didn't bother going to the doctor bc i've gotten 2 in like the last year and i hate taking antibiotics so i was like man lets just wait this out) and now i'm on my period. but other than that i swim pretty frequently.

the only issue w me is i'm a homebody but thats just bc i have almost no friends in my city lmao. esp since n has moved. (i kinda wanna call her but idk our in person chats are always so much better than calls like slight tangent but i can never hear her on the phone lmao)

honestly not mad at it like. did we only talk to each other out of circumstance? i think it's just a fact of life that most of our friends are borne from necessity at work school etc but once that ends only a few of them, maybe 1 or 2, will really stick around. but still like most ppl from uni i just don't think i'll ever talk to again and i wonder if that should matter to me or not. ngl sometimes the loneliness hits me but i don't think i've really lost my social skills in fact i think i've gotten a lot better compared to this time last year like sept 2022 - april 2023 was just a downward spiral for my social skills everything was so hard and my anxiety was prob the worst it had ever been and i wasn't very forgiving of myself. maybe bc i spend a lot of time at home but also i just don't really have a hard time talking to randos on games or in shops or whatever now. idk maybe i give less of a shit now or maybe my solitude is making my ego rise like it tends to.

i heard that was a thing, like if you spend too much time alone your sense of self becomes insanely inflated or deflated there is no middle ground. kinda facts like people are weird

but anyways i feel, for the most part, pretty chill these days. i think i could stand up for myself better now vs in the past. i texted sp again to say like "we should make plans" but i set up the last plan and like i drove her home last time too and we met at this kinda lame plaza bc she had an errand nearby so if she doesn't start the convo this time then i legit can't be arsed like i'll never talk to her again bc i'm gonna return the same effort i get. in fairness she told me that work is really exhausting for her and her commute is ridiculous like she lives by fucking farmland and has to take public transit everywhere bc she doesn't have a car. but we've never been close and i don't think our sense of humour or what we're interested in is all that similar so i get why she's not feelin it honestly me neither. no hard feelings but i will drop her tho.

Just a random thought, if charles were to move teams mid contract (which i doubt and ive kinda grown attached to ferrari) where do you think he’d most likely end up? 🤔

Since this discussion is back on the dash again I figured I’d sit down and actually try to write something semi coherent about this asjdfj

First of all, you’re absolutely right - he’s just intrinsically linked with Ferrari through the FDA and Prema and Jules and Seb and it’s difficult to picture him in a different team, wearing anything other than red (funnily enough, all of his previous race suits, at least in F1/2 have had bits of red on them.) Secondly, I don’t think he’s going to move mid-contract. 2020 was pretty much the worst it’s gonna get (fucking hopefully @ Ferrari). They know they can’t afford to slip down the ranks that drastically again (at least in the near future) because 1. it was embarrassing and terrible for the team/brand, 2. they would risk losing their star driver. So, I think he’s going to let his 5 year contract run its course and then evaluate his options in, like, the last year of his contract or somewhere around then.

As @scharletred pointed out, I have faith in Charles. I just don’t want to see him be let down by the team through poor management (seriously, sack the dude already), bad strategy, an underperforming car, poor working environment, and just general clownery and incompetence. As a driver, he can do a lot - he’s put both the SF90 and the SF21 on pole on numerous occasions and shocked everyone by outperforming the nightmare that was SF1000 and planting it on grid spots it had no business being in. But he can’t do everything on his own. He can influence strategy calls (and tbf he was asked by his engineer which plan he prefers, for example) but he has virtually no control over things like pit stops or tyre degradation (which is something the car has been struggling with so far this season and he’s acknowledged it) or, crucially, race pace (which is an area they’ve also been lacking in and it showed in Baku despite Charles’s best efforts.)

B*notto just isn’t a competent, well-rounded leader for the long-term. He’s thrown Charles under the bus before and he’ll do it again (speaking about the race in Baku he said “We’ve been [in trouble] maybe a bit more than we should. Then we complicated our race via the drivers themselves.” Yeah, Carlos made a costly mistake and never really recovered but Charles did pretty much all he could given the situation? Wtf?). Sure, all TPs have their moments where they say just a bit too much and are publicly unfair to their driver/s, but the man really needs to stop being such a hindrance on their way to success.

Anyway. I think he’ll stick it out with them at least until his contract runs out. From the sounds of things they’re focusing most of their efforts and dedicating most of their resources towards developing the 2022 car and, you know what, good for them. If they give Charles a competitive car and a reliable team, he can do wonders. And I hope we’ll get to see him shine and fulfill his dream.

As for alternatives...it’s hard to tell. I mean we still don’t know how the new regulations will impact the teams and what the extent of the resulting shake-up will be. The current top dogs might become midfielders while the midfielders might become the top dogs. I know that after almost an entire decade anything other than Mercedes domination (with Red Bull and occasionally Ferrari nipping at their heels) seems unfathomable, but you have to remember, they were absolutely nowhere before the hybrid era. Look at what a seemingly insignificant reg change for 2021 can do to the grid - you’ve got Mercedes struggling and Toto going on the offensive and whinging about flexi wings, Aston being totally lost for the first like four races straight due to the rake issue, Red Bull leading in the standings. Even this time last year that scenario seemed unlikely. Hell, with all the rumours swirling around, we don’t even know for sure if Mercedes will still be Mercedes next year or if they’ll rebrand to some Ineos F1 Team...thing.

Charles is undeniably a hot property (in more ways than one, you know what I’m sayin’) and I’m sure if/when he becomes available the top teams will be very interested in at least sitting down to talk to him. I can’t really see him moving to Red Bull since - apart from Checo - they tend to go for drivers from within their own family and they’ve got lots of promising young drivers waiting in the wings. Also the environment is like notoriously hostile and I think Charles values himself too much to be pitted against Max (assuming he stays with them for longer) in the way that Daniel, Alex, and Pierre were.

McLaren also seem committed to their drivers - and, more importantly, to their new team philosophy and maintaining this image of being the young hip carefree “fun” team. They were actively itching to recruit Daniel for this specific purpose even back when he was looking for a post-Red Bull drive and, when presented with the choice between Seb and Daniel, they went with Daniel because he met their criteria. Charles has a sort of different vibe to him so I’m not sure if he’d be their first choice.

Who else is there...Maybe Alpine if they somehow improve majorly over the years and become an actually competitive team. He’s a French speaker and they have an outwardly more serious vibe about them than, say, McLaren, so he might be a good fit? Although afaik they can be a bit of a mess internally and so far they’re not looking all that strong or “stable” - both Carlos and Daniel left after relatively short stints with the team - so Idk.

Aston Martin is an intriguing prospect because they’re still kind of trying to establish themselves and figure out what they are - not Racing Point anymore but there’s still a lot of crossover with the staff and management so the RP brand is still fresh in people’s minds. They were always a team that had potential and was sort of on the cusp of greatness but never really quite got there, so they’re kind of an unknown to me at the moment. Although then the problem here is that (unless something changes in the near future) it’s very much a family business type situation? And I’m sure any driver will have to be vetted by Lawrence personally to see if he’s a good fit to drive alongside Lance, who in their mind is undoubtedly the leader of the team, the cornerstone around which the team will be built. So I’m not sure if Charles will find his place there, either.

I guess… star quality-wise, performance-wise and so on he could be a good fit in a team like Mercedes. They take themselves seriously but also engage with the public and clearly benefit from Lewis’s established fanbase and social media presence. They also don’t curb - or even actively encourage - his non-driving pursuits like music and fashion (and Charles dabbles in both.) He’s handsome, still young, polite, kind, well-mannered and knows how to speak and present himself to the media. He’s unlikely to put his foot in his mouth with a clumsy, inappropriate statement or radio message and get them in trouble. That’s important. But despite outward appearances and their PR-polished exterior, the internal politics at Mercedes can be… a lot. And if you’re in Lewis’s position, that’s great, the team will 100% give you the support you need to thrive. But if you’re in Valtteri’s designated position… well, that’s a whole other story. Assuming they remain competitive… if they made him their focus, I think that partnership could flourish. But if they just waste him on the second seat, then it’s a no-go.

TL;DR: I have no idea, lmao. He and Ferrari are so intrinsically linked in my mind, it’s difficult trying to picture a reality in which he’s not somehow connected to the team… a reality in which he leaves without giving it his everything, without achieving that dream of winning the championship with them specifically. They’ve got the perfect driver. Let’s just hope they don’t waste him. In terms of switching teams, it really depends on what they’re willing to offer him.

*****IT just had the biggest horror movie opening ever. The acting is quite nice for chapter 1 but the ending a bit long.

*****September 16 brought the Juggalos march on Washington. They have been bringing awareness about their gang designation and the harm that it has caused. The running man with a hatchet is considered a gang symbol and gives cops probable cause to search. The FBI labeled Juggalos a hybrid gang in 2011. Also marching were some of the alt right calling their march the mother of all rallies but it only produced about 500 people.

My worst dressed were Uzo Aduba, Debra Messing, Anna Farris, Tracee Ellis Ross and Prianka Chopra. I love Sarah Paulson and the back of her dress was great but …?? There was so much black fabric which was awesome. Was it mourning for the earthquake and hurricane victims or just a general sadness for the country?  Whatever the reason.. hooray black!!**Also happy that hairstyles were mostly long and loose.** I was happy to see Laura Dern win for supporting actress in a limited series or movie. ** The Handmaids tale won for show, directing and writing , for Anne Dowd who looked more shocked and appreciative than I have ever seen and Elisabeth Moss. ** I was happy for Alec Baldwin for best supporting actor but was really routing for Louie Anderson. ** When the noms came out, I could not imagine anything beating out FEUD but everything did. ** The girls from 9 to 5 stole the show with their mention of a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot. ** Donald Glover won for directing and acting. **Alexander Skarsgard won which gave he and his brother quite a week. ** John Oliver won two and he again flew in his whole staff. ** Julia- Louis Dreyfus has now won the most Emmys for the same character in the same show. Veep got best comedy.**It was a wonderful moment when Carol Burnett and Norman Lear came out but DeNiro looked so disinterested.** Cicely Tyson has often been described as a bit of a diva and seemed a bit out of it on the broadcast but her counterpart saved the day.** So sad that Bob Odenkirk did not win but kudos to sterling K. Brown. They seemed to play him off too quickly while Nicole Kidman and big little lies had all the time in the world.

Puerto Rico has no bankruptcy and running a business is so costly there. Companies there must buy American which we don’t have to do.  Forty percent of residents don’t have insurance. So many of the supplies sent to help are just sitting there in San Juan.
