Sorry but personally disagree with everyone mad that Hunter wasn't there when Belos died. Like you are absolutely allowed to have wanted to see that confrontation but idk personally I don't think Belos deserved that. Hunter already had his final confrontation with Belos in Thanks to Them and personally I wouldn't want to shoehorn him into the final confrontation just so I could have every detail of Belos's life spelled out when we already have enough details to piece together the story on our own.

(massages temples) how do I tell people that Hunter's writing is good in season 2B AND that the fact that Willow befriends him and brushes things off and doesn't do that for Amity is actually consistent and not a writing flaw
Here's a hint: amity's story with willow is intertwined with her past, and therefore their relationship is complicated, especially when dealing with how they treat each other.
Willow met Hunter under a student disguise, was able to make a conversation with him, impress each other and trust each other... with none of their baggage attached to it. When Hunter betrays her, she falls back onto some old thinking habits, because it's always her, isn't it? Unable to do magic, unable to do abominations, only friends with one person... (even if that's changed)
Surrounded and captured, and then able to pick herself up at the opportunity to escape. Then Hunter defends her and shows her the person he was when they met, showing that it wasn't a bad judgment call on her, and that he's just... as Luz said... a bad but sad boy (who needed some friends)
Willow is forgiving. And in the grand scheme of things, this was just a tiny blip compared to the longer period of time her and Amity's weird... friendship thing was going on (before it started picking up again in LR)
Anyway they're good friends simply because they met and had no idea of the other's personal baggage when they bonded and now they'll pick up the baggage for each other and say hey, it's okay, in a different way than the others can.

One thing that I do like about Belos’ characterization that was gradually revealed as the seasons went on is how much of a bitch he is. How much of a petty, vindictive, >:3 motherfucker he is. The little “goodbye, Boiling Isles” during the Day of Unity, “go find a hole to wither away in” to Kiki, he had absolutely zero reason to do and say any of these things yet did so anyway out of sheer, unbridled, bitchy villainy. I love him so much.

sketches ive been hoarding for a while but didnt know when to post them until more Collector art dropped, mostly based round my WIP fic
their dynamic makes me ILL, theres no way Philip´s usual gaslighting and manipulation is gonna work for longer than 5 minutes if he even Tries to do it to Collector

thinking about the missed potential of Belos and Collector being evil besties or like. besties in general 💔💔
Look I know the whole point of Belos is that he's a manipulative asshole who's too deep in with his delusional beliefs but. MAN i would have loved to see that, because there were a lot of routes you could go:
1- Belos warms up enough to The Collector to actually be friendly with eachother (either evilly or just friendly)
2- The found family trope but instead it's like a fucked up ver with this evil mf and his son whos like. not that evil but still morally grey
3- Belos could have turned out to be a more decent person so the previous two dynamics but healthier
there's more but YEAH im just rlly interested in their dynamic
