I have a couple of things

One, I love your art style! It's so cute and scrunkly, I hold it in my hands gently,,, /pos

Two, if this is okay to ask, what is your opinion on gokumota? They're my favorite ship, so I'm curious about what you think about it! :o

I THINK THEY ARE LOVELY.... himbo 4 himbo fr....

they are both scientists that are often perceived as dumb by their classmates... methinks they would bond over talking about bugs and space respectively...

from what little I remember from Kaito's free time events I remember the stories he told were a bit off the walls but I think Gonta would love listening to them,,,! Maybe use them as an inspiration too!! -and in turn Kaito listens to Gonta's rambles about becoming a gentleman and encouraging him,, Kaito is like Gonta's hype man in a way...

also when I think they'd do a lot of stargazing and whatever together,, especially cause in-game Gonta tends to point out the stars a lot,, like,,, Kaito tells him about all the constellations and shows them to him,, and the next time they go outside at night together Gonta tries to look for them!!!

plus... Purple and Green... best colour combo of all time.

my brain is flip flopping between viewing them as besties or romantically involved [probably the aromantic in me kicking in] but either way I think they are wonderful...

gives me the same feelings as Cats & Piranhas [Ryoma & Himiko friendship] cause they're both similar [Gonta and Kaito being optimistic scientists who are viewed as idiots sometimes,, and Ryoma and Himiko being both tiny and had important people leave their lives,,, and they probably have undiagnosed depression...] but not really having much significant interactions... sobs...

I have not thought about this ship [or even their friendship] before but looking more into it,,, its actually so cute and silly,, you have opened my eyes,,

Sexuality Headcanon: Pansexual! It’s the color scheme.

Gender Headcanon: She’s got somethin genderfunky going on for sure! Probably uses some neopronouns fr good for her.

A ship I have with said character: So genuinely, Shironaga(Tsumugi/Angie) is the only v3 ship I have any strong attachment to. Artist girlfriends with so many problems with accepting and letting themselves participate in reality,,,

A BROTP I have with said character: I think she and Gonta could’ve been friends. They’re both silly guys. Smarter than they look. Will do anything for what they consider the good of everyone.

A NOTP I have with said character: Not to be controversial but I’m not a big Himiangie(?) fan. I don’t like Hate It though ofc lol.

A random headcanon: Not a headcanon necessarily but I simply cannot stop thinking about a world where Angie was just really autistic about Sanrio. I think she deserves it. She can be a Pompompurin fan.

General Opinion over said character: Girl you’re so fascinating but your writing is unforgivably awful.

Sexuality Headcanon: Pansexual also!

Gender Headcanon: I think she’s cis but like Cis+ yknow. She thought about it long and hard. She experimented. Good for her.

A ship I have with said character: Shironaga yet again! Though Kaemugi is fascinating as well.

A BROTP I have with said character: Can I say Gonta again? Can we talk about how she was the only bitch in that game to consistently stand up for him? BUT ALSO Hifumi. Chronically online tumblr mutuals. ALSO RANTARO but in a fun tense way.

A NOTP I have with said character: Hmm. I can’t see her romantically with Rantaro, but that’s the case for everyone. I suppose her and Kiibo? Not a fan.

A random headcanon: I’m sorry besties but Tsumugi would for sure unironically call her tumblr followers tumblrinas. She also would write the longest meta posts about her favorite shows.

General Opinion over said character: In terms of potential, I like her maybe even more than Junko. Too bad v3’s execution of its twists was so completely botched.

Sexuality Headcanon: An aroace lesbian fr.

Gender Headcanon: There’s def some gender stuff going on but I don’t think she’d bother to really think about it much. She just vibes.

A ship I have with said character: Tenkaemaki! All three of them can kiss and hold hands.

A BROTP I have with said character: I think. She and Mukuro and Peko should all be friends. Maybe kiss also but that’s not what this is about lol. If we’re talking pure nonshipped friendships, then her and Kirumi I think! Unless,,, (Training trio also but that’s obvious).

A NOTP I have with said character: Sorry training trio polycule enjoyers I just don’t see Maki with either of those boys romantically.

A random headcanon: I think Maki would really like baking if she took the time to do it. It’s nice to have something less physically intensive to do sometimes.

General Opinion over said character: One of the better parts of v3. I’m sorry for my Kokichi stanning era, queen. I’ve learned and grown since then.

First of all, your talents are similar.

That's why you two got closer.

At first, you didn't wanted to. Gonta seemed scary...

But you discovered that he's an actual sweetheart real quick.

He seemed really interested in your talent, and so you when he told you his talent.

Or when he show you his lab!

You help him feed his bugs and he helps you feeding yours, cleaning their habitat, etc.

Anyways, you two are besties now 🤭.

Looong chats about bugs, and then, about your life, personal likes, and stuff like that.

It makes you grow closer and, well, start dating.

Of course, you are the one who calms Gonta down when someone mess up with his bugs, and...

One day, you found Gonta crying because one of his insect died.

When you asked him, he told you someone stepped on them, but didn't know who...

So you went and find the culprit.

You aks them to apologize, but they don't want to, until Gonta scares the hell out of them.

Gonta was still sad, so you told him that, maybe, another little bug was scared, waiting for a familiy to hold them, and so you two should go find that bug.

Gonta accepted, and spend the whole morning like this, now having a bunch of new bugs!

After high school, you work togheter, just as in love as in high school 💕.

Plus: you are the one saving Kokichi (or the rest of the class) from feeding the bugs or having a M&G.

Hi!! I couldn’t stop thinking about the possible friendship that Kokichi and Taka may develop (LOVE your interpretation of Kokichi btw!) and I wonder if there will be a day where Kokichi FINALLY makes Taka laugh and eventually warm up to him. Really love Taka and Kokichi’s dynamic! So chaotic and I love it!!

Ahhh sorry on the delay with this! Exams ended and then my husband wanted to treat me to a nice meal and film night. So aaaaall my spare time disappeared haha! But I'm here now!

Ahhh thank you! Kokichi is one of my favourites from V3 (number one spot is my man Gonta though!) and I like to hone in on the idea that he's actually a softie that's just scared of being hurt. And I like to think, if you looked hard enough, you'd spot the truth amidst the lies.

And of course he'll win over Taka! How could he not? He's just SO GODDAMN GREAT. He just has to find the right trigger...

• Kiyotaka is a man of his word.

• He said to Kokichi that he would hang out with him, and so he does.

• It wasn't the BEST day of his life, that's for certain.

• But it was tolerable.

• And it's true - he REALLY does make people laugh.

• Maybe not Taka directly - but Leon's laugh always makes Taka smile.

• So you know. Close enough, right?

• But there DOES come a time where Kokichi FINALLY finds his in.

• And it is the most random thing ever.

• It's Makoto's 19th birthday and he's decided he wants to have a fancy dress party.

• The theme: Heroes and Villains.

• Leon LOVES a good fancy dress party - particularly where he can show off his cosplay skills.

• Normally, he and Taka go for couples costumes but this he was roped into being Pain from Hercules so that Hiro could play Panic and Mondo could play Hercules.

• They tried convincing Taka to play Hades, but he didn't feel it was right.

• And thats fine! Leon can wear a costume without pairing up with him!

• But he does now have to worry about a costume.

• A lot of people try to give him advice, but nothing really sits right with him.

• Why not Batman? He'd want Leon as his Joker.

• Okay, maybe Genos? He's want Leon as his Saitama.

• Wait, wait, SURELY he could be Light again? Ahhhh but Leon would make an adorable L...

• UGH! Everything he can think of means that Leon should be opposite him!

• It's just hopeless. He'll have to tell Makoto he can't make it...

• But then Kokichi bounces over one lunch time, grinning his usual grin and asking who he's going as?

• OBVIOUSLY Taka gets rattled and is a little blunter than necessary when replying.

• But that doesn't deter Kokichi.

• 'If you've got nothing better to do, then WE should pair up!'

• 'What?'

• 'It'll be fuuuuuun, Taka! Us besties dressed up together! Doesn't it sound GREAT?!'

• It sounds awful. But Taka's struggling for options.

• 'What did you have in mind?'

• Kokichi, upon not being rejected immediately, beams happily and whips out his phone - showing the most ridiculous pairing ever.

• At least, it SHOULD be.

• But a lightbulb switches on in Taka's head.

• This. Is. PERFECT.

• Grabbing Kokichi by the wrist, he immediately heads for the entrance.

• 'Wait, where we going?'

• 'To by our costumes.'

• YES! YES YES YES!

• It had only been a silly thought, but now that he can see a fire in Taka's eyes, Kokichi is FULLY invested.

• They talk strategy the whole way there - Kokichi rapt with the acting advice that Taka is giving and throwing out ideas that Taka LOVES.

• And once they have the costumes, they head back to Kokichi's room to practice.

• They even get ready together on the night of the party - Taka opting to do Kokichi's make up for him to make sure they match.

• They get themselves in sync, although both boys crease up every now and then when they catch the other now they're fully dressed.

• But when Leon, Hiro and Mondo knock on the door to pick them up - they're ready.

• The door opens, and all three burst out laughing in awe.

• Because stood there is Taka as Dr Evil and Kokichi as Mini Me.

• 'Holy shit, it's perfect!'

• As planned, Kokichi charges forward to bite Mondo but Taka holds him back with a quote - Kokichi waddling back to his side.

• And that's only the start of it.

• The boys perform BANG ON all night - Taka is the PERFECT Dr Evil and Kokichi's chaoticness leads to perfect interactions.

• They do air quotes at the EXACT same time.

• They both have a teddy cat to stroke in sync.

• Kokichi pretends to hump the sofa which leads to Taka shouting the quote about humping the laser at the top of his voice.

• And everyone LOVES it.

• It's no surprise that the evening goes super fast and just like that, the party's over.

• Taka and Kokichi chat the whole way home - laughing and joking together and are already planning their next costumes together.

• And Leon isn't sure whether he should be hsppy or jealous that Taka changes his profile picture to him and Kokichi...

Pahahaha I had to actually come up with a decent plan! My original wasn't excellent but I think I've cracked it!

Let's hope Kokichi is successful, huh? Thanks for the ask and I hope you enjoy!!

• Kokichi honestly thinks his plan is foolproof.

• Who DOESN'T love his loveable ass, after all?

• Taka just doesn't see what a great guy he is - if he can get past his obsession with the rules and Kokichi's love of pranks, then he'll see how great a guy Kokichi really is!

• And so he hatches his plan.

• For it to work, he'll need to recruit a few friends.

• Kaito is the obvious one. Kaito is his best friend and will help him out with all his plans.

• Kaito's boyfriend Shuichi will also work - if KAITO does something, then SHUICHI is sure to follow.

• He wants to ask Leon and Hiro, but they're too close to Taka to work.

• And he needs someone strong.

• Ah. Gonta. Perfect.

• He lets Kaito and Shuichi into the plan and tells Gonta what he needs to do - listen to whatever Kaito says, basically.

• And so the plan is put into motion.

• Taka is approached by Shuichi, who tells him a teacher wants to speak with him about a project - and who is Taka to refuse a teacher's request?

• Heading to the classroom, not really spotting Gonta and Kaito loitering, he steps inside to see no one there.

• Well. No one but Kokichi.

• And before he can turn around and leave, the door slams shut behind him - the looming shadow of Gonta outside holding the door shut.

• No matter how much Taka demands he opens the door, Gonta apologises and says he and Kokichi must make friends!

• OF COURSE! This was all KOKICHI'S rotten plan!

• With a huff, Taka crosses his arms and stands facing the door - refusing to even interact with the other boy in the room.

• Who is TRYING to charm him into talking - and failing hard.

• 'Takaaaaa, don't ignore meeeee! It's meeeeeeean!'

• Silence.

• 'C'moooooooon! I'm not thaaaat baaaaaad!'

• Silence.

• 'Pleeeeeeeeeaase?'

• Silence.

• Well, this really isn't working. But honestly, what did he expect?

• So let's try a different approach.

• 'Why don't you like me?'

• Now THIS gets a response.

• 'You're childish, you're irresponsible, you're out of control, you play horrible tricks on innocent people, you have NO regard for other people's feelings, you...'

• Oh wow okay, the list is quite big - Taka isn't holding back.

• 'Is there ANYTHING you like about me?'

• 'No.'

• 'Ouch, really?'

• Silence once again.

• Okay this plan REALLY isn't working.

• And Kokichi really hasn't got much experience with friends. Sure, he has his group but he IS the leader. They HAVE to like him.

• Kaito was his first REAL friend - outside of D.I.C.E anyway. AND he's the first one he didn't have to lie too much to.

• But he's dealing with the Ultimate Moral Compass, after all. His lies and tricks are never going to appeal to him.

• And he does REALLY want to be friends with him. Leon and Hiro always say how funny he is and they sound like they have the same sense of humour when it all boils down to it.

• 'I really want to be your friend.'

• 'Pfft. Sure.'

• 'I'm not lying this time. Promise.'

• Silence yet again. Sheesh...

• Okay - crazy thought.

• What if...what if he tells the truth? Just this once.

• 'I know I'm a brat. I know I'm annoying. I'm loud, and crazy, and a pain in the butt to everyone. And I lie. Like ALL THE TIME.'

• More silence.

• 'I lie so much because people won't believe me if I tell the truth. And sometimes, I'm not actually lying. I just pretend I am. It's easier to pretend something to save yourself hurting in the end.'

• Taka still doesn't answer - but if Kokichi's eyes weren't trained on the ground, he'd have seen the older boy look over his shoulder and spotting what the truth looks like on Kokichi's face.

• 'I've been hurt a lot. My parents pretend I don't exist. I caught all my school friends would talk about me behind my back. The only ones who cared were D.I.C.E but even then, I'm a leader to them more than a friend.'

• Oooh wow, Kokichi wants to stop this truth stuff. But now the floodgates have opened, he can't stop.

• 'I like pranks and I like lies. They keep me safe. But they make people laugh too. And I like seeing people laugh. Maybe sometimes I forget the other side of lies and pranks because I like the laughs so much. Can you really blame a kid for wanting someone to smile at him?'

• Ah dammit. Why is Taka such a softie? He KNOWS this could all be just another trick but Leon's taught his lots about body language.

• He's SURE that all of this isn't a lie.

• 'I would REALLY like it if we could hang out. With everyone else. So you can see that I'm not so bad and I don't have to be sad when you walk away. Jusy once.'

• 'Fine.'

• Kokichi's face lights up as he bounces over, grabbing Taka's hands and jumping up and down.

• 'REALLY REALLY?'

• 'Yeah fine. Just once.'

• 'YES! You won't regret this. Or maybe you will. I might have been lying the whole time!'

• Kokichi laughs happily at Taka's disapproving frown and knocks on the door to indicate Gonta can let go.

• 'Me and Taka are best friends now!'

• 'I wouldn't say that...'

• 'We're besties!'

• It takes a good while before Taka's blood stops boiling whenever Kokichi turns up and starts lying the whole time.

• But he remembers the innocent, sad boy that spoke to him and starts to find glimmers of genuine happiness and truth in his smiles.

• And eventually, they do become friends.

• Not 'besties'. But friends.
