Botw Link redesign but he is more of a hippie goblin with an emphasis on that he is a well travelled person. I think this is one of the simplest redesigns but I’ve more to say on it, it’s not his ‘default’ or ‘hero’ outfit but rather something easy for climbing and foraging. Individually I’d love to pick apart botw link’s outfits but overall I do love them and the weird combinations that people come up with from different sets and different regions. So I wanted to play more with mismatched sets

While hiking it’s always too hot while simultaneously being too cold and that’s why I gave him a shirt with cut off sleeves (his arms always get sunburned) and a wool scarf which he exchanged for a crystal cuz he was too lazy too get rupees out of his wallet but was desperate to cover his freezing ears. The pants are a fabric he got from Lurelin and wrapped it into pants in a style he was shown by the gerudo (essentially a pant style sari). The necklaces/earrings in my mind represent different geographical regions. Then there’s the torn up champions tunic which link is using as a bonus pocket. My thinking behind this: I’m assuming that during his final battle his shirt got torn to shreds and nobody ever bothered to mend it cuz why would they? People had more pressing issues to put their energy into, nobody was expecting him to come back, and then nobody remembered. So link has this strip of fabric that he is told used to be important to him, but he doesn’t remember, he is accumulating new belongings and he needs a satchel. This scrap of fabric will do just fine (later after scrubbing out berry and dirt stains out of it I’m sure he would get it mended)
