feeling incredibly averse to posting this but i'm just gonna drop my kofi link here in case anyone wants to help me get out of my increasingly shitty situation living with my parents

after having given my parents nearly $100k over the last four years, i'd love to be able to actually leave. my future job situation is still up in the air (i've submitted for about a dozen positions and the only one i've heard back from and interviewed for hasn't gotten back to me yet), and i haven't been able to build up any savings because, again, i was (and still am) helping my family afford rent and bills, and probably the taxes my parents are behind on, but if i think about that, i'll get too angry. no joke, i've given my family, at the bare minimum, 85% of my income over the last 4 years. the rest of it has gone toward medical stuff and, now, my car

at this point, with the combo of my mom refusing to lower her standards and my dad's seeming refusal to hunt for a new full time job, i don't see how they won't continue to bleed me dry. my dad even has a bad habit of taking money out of my old savings account that he's a joint owner on or whatever from when i got it set up when i was 16, even when i stopped actively putting money in it, so now any time it gets its automated $1 transfer from my checking account, he'll just take that $1 without consulting me. i'm not exaggerating, even if it has $1-2 in it, it'll be gone within a week

i've even put off starting on testosterone because of this. i wanted to start it like 3 years ago, but kept putting it off because of money issues and wanting to save as much as possible. i got really close to actually starting it this year, but because of how messy everything is, i put it off again bc having one more thing on my plate, especially when my parents are already weird about me being trans, was not something i wanted to deal with

not to mention, we're still currently not living under a lease in our house that we're, as far as i'm aware, still tens of thousands of dollars behind in rent on (again, my dad refuses to disclose our financial position honestly with any of us) and it's developed many, many issues bc the landlord, even before we were behind on rent, is shit and refuses to actually fix anything. and my dad loves to just ignore things unless we beg him to do something

i'd love to be on my own (in the, much more affordable, midwest) by the end of summer. i by no means want to rely on donations and i have other avenues i'm working with to make money (i still have my current full time job, but i'm going through my old belongings and selling a lot online), but i'll take any help i can get atp because i'm truly at my wits end. i'd start doing art commissions again if i could, but doing that from 2020-2022, partially on top of my full time job, absolutely wrecked my right hand and i'm still in enough pain that i can't make it a regular activity

idk how much else there is to say. there's more i could say but... i don't really wanna air all my dirty laundry here. i'm miserable in so many ways and it's just become increasingly clear that my dad expects me to constantly cover his ass. my younger brother gives money too, but he manages to go on big cross-country and overseas trips with friends, so i think i've been stuck with the burden of giving the most money. there's so many more things going on in the world rn and everyone is stretched thin so i don't expect much, or anything, but. idk. might as well throw it out there, right?

i’ve also since taken down the gfm i set up last year when we got our first eviction notice bc, while we still need the money, i don’t feel right keeping it up for multiple reasons, including “i don’t want to give any of that money to my family” and it feels too… serious to keep it up when i could just throw out my kofi instead

i just want to make sure i have some sort of safety net to catch me if i move before anything job-wise is finalized. i need to be able to afford a place to live for at least a month so i can job-search while physically being in the area i wanna move to, which would ultimately make it easier for me to find a job at all. i'm working on being more firm with giving less money so i can actually have the means to move and be safe and comfortable, but... that never lasts long in this house

hi!

this is random question and idk if you want to answer it but i still wanted to try asking.

i read your post about not caring too much if your book gets published bc you love writing and it kind of hit close to home.

i love philosophy, i want to study it, get at least MA in it, but everyone keeps saying it's an useless degree since it doesn't guarantee a lucrative job prospects and breaking into academia is almost impossible. yet i can't imagine giving up on it.

i imagine same things are being said about your field as well. so, my question is, what are your thoughts about this topic of "useless work", do you yourself profit financially from working in the field of your interest?

The only money I make off Egyptology is what people currently throw at me on my kofi, which isn't much (though people have been exceedingly generous and I appreciate it every time). The only money I've made off of writing came from the two short stories I published with the only Dutch magazine that pays (and total proceeds were less than €100).

But here's the thing: useless degrees don't exist in my opinion. Even if you don't land a job in academia/philosophy, studying it will have developed you transferrable skills. The trick is knowing which ones apply for which other jobs and how to market those to job interviewers. Studying ancient history gives you skills that might land you a job in e.g. data analysis or statistics, fields that seem mutually exclusive with ancient history but aren't.

Won't lie though, it's hard. Because the great majority of people doesn't see past your degree, and our capitalist hellscape means most if not all of arts/humanities-adjacent degrees and "hobbies" are nearly impossible to make a living out of. In that sense, sure, some degrees are indeed borderline "useless". But that's not the fault of the degree.

For me, Egyptology felt as the only degree I even could finish. That might be my brain lying to me because I've all my life been told that I give up too quickly, but either way, I just couldn't imagine myself doing anything else. Same with writing. So I'm just going to bash my head into the wall and try to make money in different ways until... idk, something else happens. Publishing is still not an end goal to me, but that doesn't mean I don't wish I could make a sustainable career out of either Egyptology or writing. In my opinion, universal basic income so that people can pursue what they want rather than need is the very first step we need to take to move towards a better society. I don't necessarily need to be paid for either Egyptology or writing, but I wish I could pursue them without worrying how I'm going to pay the bills.

I think a large part of being successful in your own endeavour if you want to actually work in philosophy/academia is going to be determined by your plan de campagne. Knowing what you need to get a job in your field, knowing that the chances are slim, knowing what your backup plans are... That's all stuff that will help you. I wish I could say "just follow your dreams and you'll get there" but that's a privilege not many of us get. I hope you will get there though, and I believe in you. If a philosophy MA is something you want to pursue, please find a way to pursue it.

Hi hi, finally some time to write this! Due to recent events I've been getting some questions from various people and I also have some questions for you guys so I'll try to do this in 1 post 😸

My answers:

Are you really not planning to write fics anymore?

That's the plan *nodnod*, but you know me. There's always a 'but' and a clown mask ready in my storage to put on if I happen to go against my own words. But the intention is to stop posting fics here, I'm too tired of it now lol. I might post a fic or two on AO3 once in a while, maybe write a collab with Mia if I feel like it. It's just... how do I say it.. my motivation to write more fics basically got washed down the drain together with blog #1. Let us see for how long that motivation swims in the sewers...

Can you reupload [fic name]?

If it's on my AO3, I won't. If it's not, hmm.... I probably also won't. But! It depends on the fic. Always feel free to ask, but please don't get angry when I say no! ^^ For now I have an exception: commissions. More about this down below in my question to you guys.

Why won't you try to get your old blog back?

It would require filing an objection against the copyright claims against me with all the legal risks, submitting my personal info from home address to name, and consenting to USA legal law stuffs bluhblahblah... :") For me too much of a hassle. I don't think my blog is worth it. Even if I don't know the exact details, I'm sure they're not wrong. Whether it's fair or not, most fandom stuff has copyright issues in the end, so I can't protest against the claims with 100% certainty it won't get me in real trouble. More info about this soon in another post!

Some people 'bought' fics back when I had a shady kofi shop running and those fics were posted both on my AO3 and Tumblr (+ were sent in PDF format if requested). No matter how much you paid for the fic, part of the deal was that it would be posted on Tumblr so if by any chance you lost a commissioned fic and wish for me to repost this here on the new blog, please let me know...:3

Well... With the loss of my account there were more things that went lost than just my fics, such as asks that were still in my inbox, DMs, personal stories and more. I did not back up anything and have zero overview and my memory is shit. If I am forgetting something, if you once sent me something and it's now gone (and you still have it), or if there's anything else I am missing smh, please let me know.

However please note that I am not planning to turn this blog into a copy of my previous one. If you submitted a fic to my old blog, I won't repost it here sadly (I hope you saved it). But if you posted an irl tickle story (I'll still accept these), a headcanon for your fav character or pairing or something else, I'll gladly accept it even if it's a copy of what you once sent to my old blog! Well, this post has been made countless times, but I’m making one too because I’ve seen a lot of people say they’re new to tumblr and don’t know the whole “reblogging is better than liking” rule and other stuff. So without any further ado, here are ways YOU can support the fanfiction authors. Now keep in mind this applies to almost every author out there, not just the stayblr fandom, so if you’re a silent reader (or even if you aren’t), I advise you go through this post. Warning, this is a fairly long post going into detail, so yeah. I still expect you, the readers to read this, and if you’re a writer, feel free to lmk if i’ve written smth wrong or if you want me to add something! ^^

In this post I’ll go into thorough analysis of the pros and cons of each of the methods listed here and how YOU as a reader can show the authors whose fics you read more love and motivate them to produce content.

WARNING; LONG POST! GOES INTO A DECENT AMOUNT OF DETAIL. NOT EDITED, EXCUSE ANY TYPOS.

#1 : LIKING !

I think this is basic common knowledge, and a lot of people tend to do this. When you like the post, the author sees it, you see it, and if the author has their liked posts accessible (which majority of the time they don’t), and if someone deliberately goes to check it, then they see it. See why so many authors say just liking does nothing? Only liking says “Hey, I’m gonna tell you your story is not that good by simply liking it and not sharing it with other people. :D”

♯ PROS:

You’re telling the author that you've read their fic, and either you’ve enjoyed it to a certain extent, or you’re just saving it to read for later.

Likes are seen by you, the author and anyone who has access to your likes (which, most people don’t).

♯ CONS:

If you ONLY like, you’re not really helping the author’s work reach a wide audience because this site isn’t Instagram. Reblogging is the only way people can SEE our works. I’ll cover more on that in the next section.

In a nutshell, liking is good! But you should most likely use it in a combination with the other stuff I’ve listed below, because just the like itself doesn’t really do much in giving the author any feedback or interaction on their fics.

To clear shit up; I’m not talking about those people who don’t read the story or appreciate it in the first place. I’m talking about those who appreciate the fic, like it, but don’t leave any sort of feedback to show that.

#2 : REBLOGGING !

This is SO, SO important. I cannot stress on this enough. Let me explain WHY so many writers stress on reblogging content:

Tumblr’s tag system is inherently fucked up, and has grown more so over the year. I’m not kidding, at first, the fic either used to show up in the tags or it didn’t, but now, sometimes your fic can be REMOVED from the tags because of,,, idk tumblr tag shit. Anyways, as you can see, it’s very demotivating for authors at that point, because the major way for people to find their content and expand their blogs has been blocked.

Due to this reason, tumblr authors need to RELY on you, their followers to help spread their works to a wider audience. Now again, before you get me wrong, I’m not saying you ae forced to rb our works regardless of whether you like them or not. BUT, that being said, if you DO infact like the story, there’s no harm in reblogging, right? By doing this you’re indirectly telling the author — “hey! :D I liked your fic! Which is why I am gonna share it to my followers so they can read it too :D” Trust me, you’re doing nothing but helping the people who produce content for you to read. Seems like a worthy cause to hit the reblog button, right? It’s only a one, or maximum two step procedure.

Leave tags in your reblogs! Trust me, as an author myself and as much as I know from all my author friends, we oft check the tags of your reblogs to see if you found any part amazing or even if you have anything to say about the writing we put so much hard work into. Even a key smash or a “This was so [insert adjective] 🥺” is enough to leave a smile on your authors face.

♯ PROS :

You’re !! Sharing !! Your authors !! Works !! This leads to them getting more recognition, so for the content they’re so graciously providing for free, you’re promoting their blog and helping them expand it.

If the tags are being a shit, which majority of the time they are, then you’re literally making an author’s day by reblogging! You’re showing them that you, a follower and appreciator of their works are willingly sharing their content because it deserves to be seen by more people. Again before any dumb people decide to attack me, i am talking about people who like the fic but don't bother reblogging and are silent/ghost readers. I am not forcing anyone to read anybody’s work.

YOU’RE MAKING YOUR AUTHOR SO HAPPY WHAT MORE REASONS COULD YOU POSSIBLY WANT !! 🥺

♯ CONS :

Literally none, because as far as I remember no author is against reblogging of their works. It’s quite literally the way this platform functions. Reblogging is IMPORTANT.

#3 : COMMENTING/SENDING FEEDBACK !

This kind of overlaps with the previous section, but THIS IS SUCH AN IMPORTANT STEP !! When you leave feedback, you are directly giving the author something so much more valuable to them than high follower/note counts or money. Your feedback is literally our serotonin. I kid you not the number of times I’ve received a positive comment and smiled and it has made my day. There’s a reason youtubers (though not the best example, bear with me here because it was the only one I could think of) ask people to subscribe, like and COMMENT. The subscription is like a follow, the like is ofc like a heart, and the comment is equivalent to an rb with comments in the tags.

You might argue and tell me that a comment is basically like an ask so the reblogging step isn’t necessary, but I’m sure 99% of you use YouTube and you know that more comments leads to people’s videos boosted in the stream/trending charts. This is what reblogging does. Reblogging shares the piece with other people like minded, which leads to a boost in reads. You are literally helping your author grow.

It’s quite literally the same thing as youtubers. Youtubers NEED validation to keep their content creation going, so do writers, so do other ccs on this site. This post is however, focused on WRITERS, so keep that in mind.

♯ PROS :

By doing this, you’re giving author valuable feedback! It’s similar to what you do in rbing with tags. Interactivity with their fics boosts their note counts and helps expand their audience, so srsly, now think of it: your one comment is playing such a massive role to help ccs create more content.

Imagine how much of a difference the note counts will be in when every person who simply likes after reading the fic, reblogs, leaves a comment and sends an ask. the note counts would be high on each and every fic, which is validation in itself, but your comments would inspire the writer so much more! Please, don’t skip the commenting part. Even a simple one like: “this is so cute!” is wonderful.

♯ CONS :

Remember, if you’re gonna give constructive criticism (which I’m sure you all are smart enough to know if different from hate), make sure the author is okay with it. Authors need to be in a specific mindset and must be ready to accept criticism, so if you’re gonna give constructive criticism to them when they’re at a low point, it may demotivate them.

Just commenting, instead of reblogging and commenting in the tags/ reblogging and then leaving an ask in their inbox, while it gives validation in plenty, will not lead to the author’s work being spread. Therefore I suggest either reblogging and commenting in the tags or reblog and then leave an ask, or comment under the fic!

!! reminder; I am not saying that if you don’t rb and just leave feedback, your feedback has no value. We authors truly appreciate every bit of feedback, but this post is aimed to help you learn how to interact with and support authors, and make them feel more motivated, because the current scenario of liking and scrolling is taking a toll on their creative abilities. Take it from a person who’s been writing for a year.

#4 : COMMSIONING VIA THEIR KO-FI/OTHER APPS !

Before any of you attack me, let me tell you that this is not a step that is 100% necessary to do. ONLY donate if you can and if you genuinely want to, and if anyone is forcing you to pay for something against your will, you need to get yourself out of there.

Regardless, if an author has a kofi and you’re able to and you want to donate, you definitely should! It’s also a valid form of support.

#5 : ADDING THEM ON REC LISTS/ RECOMMENDING THEM TO REC BLOGS

This is such an underrated option, to be honest. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve seen my fic was recommended onto some rec list and it’s made me smile so hard. If you like some fics, create a rec list! They’re oft very popular amongst the fans too. Making rec posts is such a great way to share your favorite stories with others.

Rec blogs! I’ve seen a couple going around, and needless to say they are a great way to get someone else to read your favorite author’s work whilst also giving them your own feedback. These blogs oft accept recs via a form or ask box, and they leave your feedback along with their own, or else they’ll oft tag the author in the feedback post, so look! You’re basically helping your author share their fic to many more people, because you’ve given them feedback and a reblog.

♯ PROS :

Validation! Feedback! Reblogs! More exposure! Helping a blog grow! Spreading love! basically a run down of the stuff I’ve said before!

♯ CONS :

Literally no con of this. Unless, a one in a million case, this author says they don’t like receiving feedback/being tagged, and I’m sure NO person has said this before, at least none that I’ve heard of.

#6 : FINAL COMMENTS; MISC !

When an author points out about how the interactivity is drastically reducing, don’t just give them blind apologies. Yes, you feel sorry for not interacting as much, we understand, but rather show that you’ll become a better content consumer through your actions. We need to see that we’re not just throwing words into a void and that people are actually trying to be better content consumers.

Understand the fact that authors don’t get paid for this, and 99% of the time, these authors don’t take commissions either. They’re giving you novel worthy writings for free. Take Percy Jackson: You think the author would have felt motivated to write the subsequent parts, let alone two whole series based off of it if literally no one showed that they were interested? Rick Riordan has sales, he is being paid, there are millions of people and big agencies who provide him feedback. Now take that huge amount and simmer it down to an audience of maybe 10000 people This is what fanfic authors want. They don’t want your money, nor are they telling you to risk your lives for them. All they want is, a reblog, some tags, some feedback, some INTERACTIVITY. A sign that they aren’t throwing fics into the void and that people actually like them, some motivation to continue. Seems fairly easy to throw an rb with some tags, right?

Don’t bother to tell me that we do this for ourselves and we shouldn’t ask for likes and reblogs and feedback, because 1) you are consuming the content that we “write for ourselves” and 2) writers post their content here for interactivity and feedback. We could just not post and write and save our fics in our dungeon drafts for years. But we choose to post to entertain the readers, the consumers. And we aren’t even asking that much in return.

Don’t give me the whole “I’m scared that authors feel that comments are annoying” excuse either because seriously this has been DEBUNKED SO MANY TIMES. Istg, in the nicest way possible, if you still think writers are annoyed by interaction and feedback, after so many posts, long rants have been posted as to how we’re not, then you must truly be living under a rock. There, I said it. Please stop thinking this way, I’ll say it again, AUTHORS ARE NOT ANNOYED OF FEEDBACK, COMMENTS, TAGS, REBLOGS. WE LOVE IT. Saying this is like saying that the audience in a theatre play shouldn’t clap when the play ends because the actors would find it noisy. 🤡

I’ve seen some people saying they have anxiety issues and such, so pls note that I’m not invalidating your condition. If you’re trying to be more interactive, I really appreciate it! If you can’t, that’s fine too. You’re trying.

But for the people who have no reason other than feeling lazy to rb and comment, your lack of interactiveness is not excused. Please. Tumblr is a reblogging site. If you’re gonna consume content like authors are some sort of machines, I encourage you to go get some more perspective.

This site is not Instagram or the satan bird app. Your likes are appreciated but frankly speaking, they do nothing to the author except tell them “Hey i read ur fic but i'm not gonna support u :D” and honestly, that is detrimental to their creative capabilities and mental health.

DON’T FOLLOW AN ACC JUST TO MINDLESS RB THEIR SIGNAL BOOST POSTS AND THEIR REBLOGS OF GIFS AND NOT INTERACT WITH THEIR WRITING AT ALL ! Trust me, authors prefer a lower amount of interactive followers than a high count that doesn’t even give them any feedback. Again your follows are appreciated, but when you’re following, you know the type of content the author creates, so the author expects that the more followers, the more interactivity. These days, this is just becoming the opposite. So don’t do it! If you’re gonna follow to read, interact with their works. I promise, this will make both you and the author happy. A win-win situation.

In conclusion: SUPPORT YOUR FUCKING AUTHORS! THEY ARE NOT MACHINES THAT HAVE NO FEELINGS TO PRODUCE CONTENT FOR YOU! FICS TAKE DAYS AND DAYS OF PLANNING, PLOTTING, OUTLINING, WRITING, EDITING, MAKING TEASERS. SO JUST SHOW THEM YOU APPRECIATE THEM WITH AN RB. IT’S THE L E A S T YOU CAN DO.

Here is the post by @stayndays about how to get more people to read your work, because it also has a note on reblogging. If you’ve read this far, I want you to go to two of your favorite authors and leave some feedback in their inbox, and tag me in it (either tag me yourself or ask the author to do so, they won’t mind). Show your writers that our words are taking effect and you are becoming better consumers. I mean it. I’m serious. I want every single one who reads this post to do this. besides valid reasons, if you’re lazy to do this, you’re a part of the problem. PLEASE get more perspective.

And, if I think your rb is somehow contradicting my points and is bringing down the reason I made this post, I will politely ask you to delete your comment, because this post is about being truthful about the harsh reality of tumblr consumers and how we can change it. Do what I said before, and while I am not forcing you, I’d appreciate your reblog, because seriously, it took me 3 whole days to write this, plus, I’m sure this will help more of your followers understand the fault in consumer culture. haha, that’s it! Hey, can you please explain to me what exactly NFTS's are? I've been trying to find information about it but all I can find are articles screaming about how horrible you are if you support them, without actually giving me any information about what they are and what the actual harm is. If you could explain or provide me with links about what they are, I'd greatly appreciate it :D

i'm not gonna explain it in professional terms because i'm not gonna pretend i have any sort of expertise in the crypto language area but also i think keeping it symple is better

NFTs are links to digital assets, those digital assets most often are digital artworks hence why you often see those ugly monkey images because the person doing them sells them as NFTs (so they don't really sell the image but the link to that image); but they can also be photos, videos, audio files, screenshots, etc etc

those links aren't like image links you can get from right clicking on a picture, they are unique and encrypted, and their encryption is a very complex process that uses a lot of resources, hence making NFTs results in high emissions

and that's the problem people mostly point out about them, that they ruin the environment, but i feel this argument can be too weak if you don't go deeper into the subject so let's go a little deeper

because this argument has its counterpart that using social medias such as twitter, tumblr, or even real world money also has its emissions

but the thing is *anything* digital uses energy and leaves its carbon footprint because everything uses energy

so we kind of need to consider what things do we want to use and perhaps what we even need to use

think about what social medias are used for, a lot of them are used for connecting people you wouldn't otherwise be able to easily contact, they can be used for spreading social awareness, for organising events, not to mention communication in companies but also other sources of income like artists advertising their commissions and other users being there being potential customers, like it's only a few examples of how it's worth it to have those running that have their own share in emissions

real world money, hate it or love it, we literally could not just pull the plug for it any day without any preparation for it because so much depends on it

now let's take NFTs and what their general use is and honestly crypto in general

until recently it was used as an easy way to get very rich (most times by already rich people) because you didn't have to pay taxes for it, but now everything will need to be reported to the IRS or you will face the consequences and you'd think well that's normal well it was not normal to the cryptobros to which this is a huge L

which is also linked to using crypto for money laundering and shady businesses. not good stuff

another thing is how the process of getting rich with these works... it's not stable in the slightest, and after you buy one you need to find someone to sell it to, but if the price goes down before you do, then you lose money (often a lot of it); which is hard to call anything else than scamming

that's not really for NFTs, more for shit like bitcoin but crypto mines are bumping up the prices of graphics cards which Sucks because that's one of the most vitals parts of any computer

and more on crypto in general again, it's like money 2.0, but more useless, less stable, empowering shady rich people, and yeah sure some random "normal" folks get rich thanks to them but you are literally better off investing in some company

Hello! I was thinking maybe a Schizophrenic Hero starts hearing and seeing people/shadows and starts hearing noises during a battle. After a while hero just collapses on the ground, mumbling how the shadows are out to get them and how they won't stop talking. As they curl in on themself in a panic and terrified mess. And Villian has to help calm them down and comfort them? Idk. Please don't do this if your to busy, make sure your taking care of yourself and don't push yourself!

Hi, sorry I’m late, I’m enduring a food coma atm. I want to an all you can eat and tried to out eat two lads both a good foot taller. Just saying I held my own, but now I’m paying the price XD I studied Schizophrenia a few years ago but I’ve forgotten most of it, but to be honest, I don’t think what I’ve written is very accurate ^^’

Hero knew what the hallucinations were when they were stood really to face Villain. They saw the figures lurking on the rooftops. They knew what they were, but that didn’t mean they weren’t creepy or offputting. They clenched their fists and rushed forward, swinging their punches. Villain was quick to fight back, dodging the attacks and hitting them back with far more ferocity, but Hero was able to step up and challenge that. They were used to fighting them now, it was nothing new to them.

Hero was able to deal with the hallucination as they fought, they didn’t have time to really look, but the auditory hallucinations were something else. They weren’t used to experiencing both at once, and never so vividly as they were starting to get to them. They were getting more noticeable, and Hero was losing their concentration.

When something shouted their name, Hero instinctively turned to look. It gave Villain the chance to hit them hard, and they stumbled back, falling over. Villain stood over them for a moment, chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm, far more stable than their own breathing. This was proving to be too difficult to cope with, especially on top of their enemy fighting them. They needed to try to pull themselves together, but that was always easier said than done. The hallucinations were coming closer, smiling with bloodthirsty grins. They were talking more, saying their name, whispering insults and insecurities. It was all mixing into one hellish mixed noise that made no sense to them. They felt sick.

“They’re not real,” Hero mumbled out loud. Hero tried to get up, but Villain kicked them hard, sending them sprawling back onto the ground.

“What did you say?” Villain asked, raising an eyebrow.

Hero shook their head and forced themselves to get up quickly. They swung at Villain again, kicking and punching them with gritted teeth. They needed to finish this quickly and get out of there.

Hero sent a brutal T kick into Villain’s chest and they fell back, holding their ribs. Only as they did, one of the figures jumped closer to them. Hero cried out and jumped back, unable to finish Villain off. They tripped over their own feet and scrambled back against the wall. They couldn’t take any more of that thing staring at them with cold dead eyes.

They curled up, and they didn’t care what Villain did to them. This was too much. They covered their eyes.

“[H.Hero]?” Villain wheezed. “What… what are you doing?”

“It’s fake. It’s not real, it’s not real. S.stop talking- stop talking! They’re going to get me, they’re out for me. Oh, god!”

Villain frowned and watched as Hero rocked back and forth, shaking. “H.Help me...”

Villain reached down to put their hand on Hero’s shoulder, but Hero yelped and scrambled back.

“Woah, hey, I’m not going to hurt you. You need help. What’s happening to you?”

Hero kept their eyes tightly closed and covered their ears with their hands. Villain tried to gently peel Hero’s hands away.

“[Hero], listen to me. I need you to take deep breaths. You’re panicking. What? Are you schizophrenic or something? Drugged?”

“S.schizophrenia… they’re too close to me.”

Villain pulled a face. They weren’t sure how they were meant to help. “It’s not real, you said it yourself. This will pass. Do you have medication?”

Hero nodded. “I already took it, but it doesn’t help all the time. It shouldn’t be this bad.”

“Well… I’m here, I’m real. Will focusing on me help?”

“I don’t know.”

Villain sat beside them, “I wasn’t actually intending on doing anything tonight when you found me, so I have free time… I’ll stay with you until you can calm down, okay?” They offered their hand to them. “I’ll keep an eye on you.”

I slept all god damn day again so I will be up all night no doubt. I am so super tired and my legs ache so much..I could just fall back asleep again probably although I’m a little bit hungry.

I know i keep posting about my kofi and promoting my kofi posts and stuff that you have to pay to see and i hope its not too annoying me reblogging them every so often throughout the day/night whenever I’m actually awake lol.

I just really want to get it out there and idk i want to try and make something of my poetry i think my writing is good enough that paying 2 pound to see it isn’t too much to ask so i think thats okay.

I dont know is 2 pound too much for the kofi thing would it make more sense to lower it cos I keep thinking about Patreon and its tiers where often it starts at a pound/dollar and then goes up from there but i cant do tiers on kofi so not really sure.

Also if you have any other suggestions on what content you’d like to see from me that’d be cool so currently I’m going to post poems to my kofi the ones coming now will be exclusive ones some earlier ones ive probably posted on here but the latest one on my kofi i wrote recently and haven’t posted anywhere other than my kofi.

That’s what i plan to offer at the moment to those who buy me a coffee a chance to see exclusive poems but is there anything else i could add that would make you think ooh yeah i wanna pay for that i wanna see that. Like I’m thinking in the sense of maybe poetry recordings of me reading some of my poems out loud? Or maybe offering hi res downloads of my poems for personal use to print and keep.

Maybe early access to my book when i publish it? Or maybe i share some behind the scenes posts of the book i.e a sneak preview at some content from the book before it goes live for sale?

so... here it is... i am done with my exams and sketched that real quick =D i am so sorry if anyone is dissappointed or imagined something else! believe me, i didnt think it would look completely different too but somehow it ended up like this =D i really overdid it with Logans Room. it had too much detail and i didnt wanna work on the next one for that long too so i cut some of the ideas out of the drawing but imma list some things which i imagine are definitely in the room but i was too lazy to draw =D: Firstly, i wanted to make as many playbill prospetcs and disney posters into the room.. just imagine they are in the drawers and on the walls which you can’t see on the pic =D i wanted to make a gigantic mirror to challenge myself again with yknow.. drawing everything in the mirror but i ended up with a small one =D i wanted to add many sketchbooks full of ideas because he is infact, creativity... they are in the drawers too now i wanted to make a wardrobe full of all the stage outfits thomas had for all of his productions.. now they are also in the space you dont see =D i wanted to draw an instrument, either a piano, or a violin... idk i scratched that idea real quick cause i am lazy.. imagine a white piano in the room somewhere i wanted to add a microphone.. i even sketched it, then i forgot the lineart for it and after finishing it, it doesn’t fit into the aesthetic anyway tbh alright, time for some CLOSE UPS!!! WOHOOO

the outfit had to be in the room somewhere so, the sash and one part of the prince outfit !!! the papers: i had to add something to show that he is literally the embodiment of creativity. so here are some quick drafts with some musical notes, a list with video ideas, a half finished poem for a loved one and a list on how to stop insulting people =D

you can see two tiny pictures here... its actually Thomas in both of those, wearing the outfit from Into the Woods and from Heathers.. yknow.. cause he is a theatre kid and Roman likes to think back on these stage performances

a glass door leading to Romans Kingdom, where he gets to have aventures every now and then! i read so many fics and headcanons, where Roman owns a castle and stuff and i just wanted to add it somehwere

so, these are inspired by @poppysanders headcanon about how Roman can give experiences to the others =) and they wrote how he took Patton out to fly on clouds on his birthday! also, @starlight-sanders wrote an add on, where Logan and Roman discuss over the stars and the universe, and where Roman went to a concert with Virgil and i just loved this soo so much.

these are Romans favorite experiences with the others and he had to put memories of those into his room =)

there is a small book on the nightstand. i believe this is his diary for writing down all of these experiences.

also, @pipapatton is a sweetheart and gave me the first feedback and noticed, that the R on his pyjama should be mirrored... i am so stupid =D but again, i was too lazy to change that, so know, that i am aware of that.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/27/19 Review

We started with a touching tribute to soldiers on Memorial Day, and the first arena shot had a “We remember the fallen” sign, and a huge USA chant from the crowd. Really touching.

Kofi Kingston was out first, and they recapped his attack from Ziggler last week. He cut a promo about how Kevin Owens re injured Big E (he was never healed really), and then Ziggler attacked him. Kingston wasn’t finished, but he was here for Lesnar. He wanted to fight Lesnar, and asked him to cash in tonight, but was met with Seth Rollins. He said the same thing, and asked Brock to announce who he would cash in on. Brock actually came out, with a boombox? Idk, his briefcase had speakers. That might be cool if it was Kofi, but Lesnar should be intimidating. They played both of the champions music as Lesnar kinda looked at them. Seth actually walked out during that part. Heyman said that Rollins walked out on the Brock Party, which was funny. He then said that they wouldn’t announce who they would cash in on. As Lesnar left, Ziggler ran out and attacked once again.

Grade: D+. I don’t care about this, I really don’t. Brock looked kinda dumb, and I am bummed out that they wasted the Money in the Bank briefcase as a boombox gimmick on Brock. That is clever. I don’t want him to say who he will cash in on, that ruins the fun of it. I just don’t care.

Ziggler hit a zig zag on the steel, and was gonna beat him with a chair, but Xavier Woods ran out for the save. Refs were escorting Kingston away, and Ziggler attacked Woods and they brawled on the ramp. The fought around the fans, even hitting a camera guy with a garbage can on accident. Ziggler beat Woods with a chair for quite a while, and was gonna injured the neck with a chair, but Kingston ran back out, so Ziggler retreated, and then cut a promo. He just told Kingston to celebrate for the next 11 days, because he has been a great champion, and Ziggler will take it from him, because it always should have been his. He said that he knew how good Kingston was, but it doesn’t matter, because it will finally be his time at Super Showdown. He sounded crazy, it was awesome.

Grade: B. This was a much better opening segment. It didn’t feel filler (although that brawl was long for a reason), it didn’t feel like a normal Raw opening by being a 20 minute promo to set up a match, it was just a crazy brawl. They hyped up the WWE Championship match for Super Showdown, and the promo was really good. I like this Ziggler, and I don’t know what they will do with him after the show next Friday, but i hope he is still used.

Backstage, The Usos were having a Memorial Day cookout. They wished Nattie a happy birthday. They said that the Revival was the only team not invited. Then they yelled a bit and continued. I wasn’t sure why they did this until I noticed that Drake Maverick had some R-Truth wanted posters. I think I see where this is headed.

Backstage, Charly interviewed Shane McMahon about a match that he had later tonight. He didn’t really say anything about it, and walked to the ring with McIntyre, who deserves more than Shane’s heavy.

Shane then went out, cut a promo about respect, and how Roman Reigns didn’t understand it. Cuz he beat up Vince. They did the whole “attacking the father” thing, which is so on the nose. He said that Reigns was disrespecting the Samoan wrestling family, the Anoa’i’s. I think I spelled that right. Shane said that he’d fight one of the members of that family. I guess it was Lance Anoa’i, who I’d never heard of, so I don’t know if he is really a wrestler, or related to Roman. McIntyre beat the crap out of him, and he could sell. Shane then told them to ring the bell. There was a shocking amount of back and forth in this match, but Shane won mercifully with a triangle. After the bell, they lazily continued to beat him up while Shane ran his mouth. Reigns then ran out, took McIntyre down with one superman punch, and almost had a spear for Shane, but McIntyre pulled him away, and they ran backstage.

Grade: F. Yeah, the best part of this match was a kick that Lance threw, so that should explain how bad this was. The whole “embarassing his family” thing is a clever angle, but Shane really wouldn’t shut up this entire time, and it really ruined it. This may have been more entertaining if there was more energy, and Shane just stopped cutting a promo as he beat Lance up. This was very poor execution to a mediocre idea. Good stuff to Lance though, he held his own and managed to be a likable face in an awful position.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman came out again. Heyman said that Lesnar was gonna cash in right now, so Rollins came out. Rollins screamed at Lesnar for not caring about the championship and said that he was a joke. Lesnar shut up after that. Rollins tore him to the ground and called him a coward. Rollins told him to cash it in. Heyman then read the contract aloud, but Lesnar stopped him dead in his tracks when he said that Lesnar had a year to cash in. I guess lesnar didn’t know that. Lesnar told Rollins to screw himself, and left. Ugh

Grade: D-. Okay, so slightly better than the segment before, because Rollins actually had a good promo. But this makes Lesnar look stupid, and is a stupid segment. I’m glad that they didn’t announce anything, but why did Lesnar not know the stipulations of the briefcase? Rollins cashed in on him in 2015, you’d think that he may have cared a bit when he was the champion. Lesnar should definitely know. And this was the second time in one episode that they, for lack of a better term, cucked us for a cash in, and not in the fun way that it usually happens. I hate Lesnar. But again, Rollins was good. It would probably rank quite a bit higher if I didn’t hate this so much.

As this was all ending, R-Truth and Carmella came bolting through with the 24/7 championship, with like 7 guys coming at him. Cedric Alexander missed a splash and took out Eric Young and someone else. Truth also dodged a charging Karl Anderson, and he just nailed the barricade. I like this, it is just fun to have little stupid bits like this to break stuff up.

Backstage, Charly talked to AJ Styles about why he wouldn’t be in a #1 contenders fatal 4-way elimination match for the Universal Championship. Styles said that he hurt himself at Money in the Bank. He was talking, and Baron Corbin attacked him. So this is where things were going last week.

Then we had a match between Becky Lynch and Nikki Cross against The IIconics. Cross was attacked by the heels for most of the match. At one point, Graves said that Lynch was busy, and Young asked how Graves knew her schedule, and he just said that he also worked there. Becky got the hot tag and beat everyone up. Becky had Royce locked in Disarmer while Cross attacked Cay on the outside, but Royce rolled her up for two. Lynch then hit the MANhandle slam, which was just an STO for the win. Lacey Evans then came out, and did nothing, just like the old days. But Cross had to hold Lynch back.

Grade: D+. I feel like I’m being pretty harsh now, but I don’t think this deserves more than this. The work was far below average, I have no clue why the IIconics lost, because Evans coming out at the end would have made much more sense as a distraction for Lynch, so that the IIconcis could beat up Cross. I don’t think the IIconics have won a match since the Raw after Mania. And now this random tag team has claim to a title shot, and I really think that they should win, because I have grown to hate the IIconics. Unless they are on commentary, that is fun.

Back at the barbecue, Tamina and Naomi were about to fight but then hugged. Weird face turn for Tamina. The Revival then showed up too, and they were being assholes. I guess Naomi invited them, because they need to settle their differences. What better place to do it than at the block party, she asked. In the ring, in a real feud, I thought. They acted like they would have fun, but they clearly wouldn’t, cuz of a very manly handshake that was dumb.

Next up was Ricochet vs. Cesaro in a rematch from last week. Ricochet immediately had the advantage with a spike rana, and then a flip off Cesaro’s chest into an ensiguri (Ospreay style) and a suicide dive. Cesaro stretched out Ricochet’s back, and worked it over with throws and suplexes. Ricochet was able to fight him off, nearly hitting the 630, but Cesaro dodged and hit a huge European uppercut. At one point, Cesaro went for a powerbomb and Ricochet countered into a sunset flip. In the finish, Ricochet fell out of the ring, but was safe on his feet. Cesaro had his back to him, against the ropes, so Ricochet did a handstand on the apron and grabbed Cesaro’s head with his feet and pulled himself up for a spike Rana and the win.

Grade: B+. Finally, something good. I bumped the score up a grade because of the cool spot in the finish, but it was still a really fun match. These guys make magic together, and I hope they are given more time at some point to put on a really great match, because this is not even the best they can do. I like this mini feud. Match of the night.

The announcers said that next week, Rey Mysterio will have to relinquish his US Championship due to injury. That sucks. As they talked about it, Samoa Joe came out and cut a promo. He said that he will be waiting to take back his title.

At the block party, the announcers desperately tried to make a game of cornhole between The Usos and Revival seem intense. Maybe I had played cornhole too recently, but it is not an intense game. No one would crowd around a game of cornhole. That being said, it was funny to see everyone overacting.

Members of the fatal 4-way elimination match said why they would win the match. Strowman’s was weird tho, cuz his music hit in the middle of his little promo, and he also threatened Bobby Lashley, then congratulated Miz on having another baby girl, and then threatened Baron Corbin, all in the same tone of voice. The heels immediately teamed up on Strowman, taking him out and then beating down the Miz. At one point, the heels double suplexed Strowman onto the stage. Lashley hit Miz with the delayed vertical suplex, but Miz kicked out. I guess that isn’t his finisher anymore. When Miz was attacking Lashley in the corner, he used running knees rather than dropkicks, which makes sense. At one point, Lashley avoided a shoulder tackle from Strowman, countering with a flying lariat. Strowman and Lashley brawled into the crowd, so Miz and Corbin brawled a bit. They beat each other up a bit, before Corbin hit the end of Days and eliminated the Miz. Now, here is the stupid part: that was the end of the match. If you are confused because there wasn’t any mention of other eliminations, thats becasue this was the first, and it ended the match. I guess Strowman and Lashley just left? What the hell?!? Why not just say that it is a normal match? Why is this so hard?

Grade: C-. There were some fun spots, but the booking was atrocious. Why were Strowman and Lashley in this match if they were already announced for Super Showdown? Couldn’t they have waited to book that match until this one was over with? Why was Miz in this match? He is a Smackdown guy, and he lost at Money in the Bank. Corbin was the only person who was even qualified to win, so he kinda had to go over here. This is just so dumb. Why does this company not care about their own product enough to look at their own rules?

More yelling about cornhole. Then R-Truth showed up, and the party devolved into lots of throwing food and rollups. No table spot, which I thought was a given in this kind of environment. Truth was able to get away.

Grade for 24/7 stuff: C+. They almost had it right this week, with the wild stuff for the first 24/7 segment. But the block party thing didn’t have the fun little hardcore spots that I expected. Plus, all that is happening is rollups. Lets see some weapons and finishers in weird places. Someone should get hit by a car. Come ooooooooon.

And finally, the Firefly funhouse. One of the only things I look forward to about Raw. Bray said that the mask was called the fiend, and when he embraces that side of him, he can be anything he wants to be. That was in a sinister tone. Abbey the witch said that he was a psycho, and he did some wacky stuff to prove that he isn’t, and then she said “why won’t you let me rest,” which was super creepy and awesome. He said that he wouldn’t, and she said that she didn’t want to be stuck in limbo. So Wyatt did the limbo.

Grade: B+. Creepy and awesome. I don’t think there is anything more to say.

Then we had a segment called electric chair, where Graves interviewed Sami Zayn, no holds barred style. The questions are apparently from the WWE Universe, and nothing is off limits, which is super untrue, in just about every way. Someone asked about his retirement date, so Zayn said that his parents must be brother and sister, cuz they are in Kansas. Someone else asked if he missed Becky Lynch from the Mixed Match challenge, and he just said she had a stupid question, and that her parents are bad. Someone asked how it felt when Strowman destroyed him, so he said that he wanted to kick the guys ass. The only reason that he wouldn’t beat him up, was because he would be tied up in legal troubles. He also said that that guy should be grateful for that not happening, because healthcare in america sucks. Another guy asked why he hasn’t won the Universal Championship, and he said that he could win it whenever he wanted. He insulted everyone for not asking good questions, like stuff about AEW, and the crowd popped. So thats why they did this segment, to pretend like they don’t give a damn about AEW. Of course they do, thats why they brought it up. Graves then tried to speak about the Universal Championship, but the crowd were still freaking out about AEW. Rollins came out to fight with him, and Zayn backed off.

Grade: B-. Yeah, so the mention of AEW shows why they did this segment. But it was actually funny. Zayn is good at being an asshole to fans who can’t cut a promo like he can. It was clear that the last guy wanted to ask something better than he asked, because he cracked up and stopped. But it was during this segment that I found out why they changed the lighting during the third hour. It’s supposed to be a grittier part of the show. I guess that’s why there was a no DQ match last week, but saying AEW and having new lighting doesn’t make the show better.

Then we had Rollins vs. Zayn. Zayn ran away for a bit, then they locked up. Rollins was in a pissy mood, and he attacked Zayn viciously. At one point, Rollins hurt his knee on a suicide dive, and that stopped him from delivering a buckle bomb to Zayn. Zayn hit a vicious DDT for a near fall. Zayn then targetted that knee. As Rollins went for a curb stomp, Zayn dodged it which hurt his leg more, and then he locked in a figure four. Seth fought out of it, and Rollins tried to hit a frog splash off of one leg, but Zayn got the knees up for a near fall. Rollins was able to get a curb stomp as Zayn entered the ring, but he couldn’t capitalize. Rollins just hit another one and won.

Grade: B. Good match, but it felt like just another Raw match. Plus, no way Zayn was winning this.

Story Previews/updates

I’ve been working on stuff on and off, but its been a bit slow. I figured i’d just make another post with how all my stories are going and do another preview post.

So far i have the two main stories and two shorts.

Keep in mind everything just a work in progress and things can change before they get released.

PREVIEW🔵

Shorts: Space Grace: Bar butts

“Maaan it’s so nice to be back home. I forgot how nice it is to go for a walk and not have to worry about anything chasing you” Grace stretched her arms out and spun around as her and Olivian walked down the sidewalk. “ The sun feels really nice too…” Grace turned back to Olivian. “ You can feel that right? I mean I figure you would in your physical form but it’s hard to read you sometimes”

“ Yes Miss. My physical form is as realistic as it can get….if you’ll remember that very intrusive medical exam you put me through…” Olivian gave Grace a somewhat unpleasant look. “ Uhh..heh.. w-well I am your commander and it’s my duty to understand my shipmates physically and mentally” “Of course Miss, but I do believe that all that fondling is uncommon practice” Grace gave her friend a guilty smile as they continued down the street.

Just a fun little thing I felt like doing. I mentioned this somewhere before but I’ve fleshed it out a bit more. There will be some changes to Olivian as the main story goes on, and i see these as a way to try out a few things. so far i really like how i have her and Grace interacting in this one, but as always these shouldn’t be considered cannon.

Shorts: Doctors note

As the doctor headed towards the door Thomas stopped her. “ Uh.. you’ll be seeing me? What about doctor Mcallen?” “ My mother retired a few years ago. Seeing as this isn’t that big of a town I took on all of her clients” The woman smiled as she started to leave. “ Just stick your head out the door when your ready, I’ll be right outside”

“ Woah, hey wait I’m just here for a doctors note. Not a physical” The women turned back and addressed the young man with a stern tone. “ Any good doctor will tell you, that you should have had a physical when you were sixteen. It’s a great time to make sure your growing properly and you have no health issues. Seeing as you haven’t we’ll be doing that today.” “Bu-” “ Now, your gonna put that on and we’ll see about that note when your done” The doctor left the room closing the door behind her. “ Guess we’re doing that then…"

This has been on the back burner for a while. I got sick at my old job and they were complete and utter cunts about it.(and everything else, honestly i could go on for hours about that place. Fuck them!) Anyway, while sitting in a doctors office for an unnecessary doctors note, i came up with this story.(God damn i’m salty about them)

Space Grace part 3: Cow town

There was a weird silence before the queen spoke. “Bring the red one to me” Holo grabbed Grace by the arm and walked her towards the throne. The cow threw Grace down infront of the queen. Landing on her hands and knees Grace paused for a moment to let the pain fade. “Red one” The queen now addressed Grace. Looking up at the cows leader Grace was met with a nine foot tall beast of a woman. She was dressed in something resembling a black corset with red lace. Like her daughter the queen had a loose fabric skirt. The matching red and black skirt ran down just below the queen’s knees. Like the rest of her kind the queens tan skin was covered in scars, while from her left hand up to her shoulder the queen had the same strange markings as Mocalo.

The Queen brushed her dark red hair out of her face as she angrily looked down at the tiny naked woman in front of her. “Can you not speak?” “I-I uh yes… Yes I can speak..” Graces voice cracked as she spoke. Trying to regain her composure, Grace started to stand. “ I’m here-gah FUCK” Holo slammed her foot down into the back of Grace’s leg. “ Do not stand to our queen,you insult our her by being here”

“Holo, that is enough” The big cow huffed and took her foot off of Graces leg.

I’ve been a bit hesitant to continue where i am with this part. Just something about the queen’s appearance doesn’t feel completely right. so i’m still thinking her design over. Working on that short has really helped me get in the mood for writing Space Grace, so i should get on it sometime soon.

Miss and Pup Part 4

Look…Izzy…you shouldn’t feel guilty for having that woman out of your life. She was gone the moment Mark was and you know that. She did nothing but harass and spread shit rumors about you in a time when you needed family the most. If you ask me, you have no reason to feel guilty.” “ That doesn’t mean i still won’t…” The two sat and talked for hours, both worn out by everything that happened that day. Eventually Miss Hayle went back home and Miss rose went back to her bedroom.

Miss rose sat beside her pup. She watched him sleep for a while, made sure he was okay. After a few more hours of not being able to sleep Miss Rose fell asleep on her couch.

I don’t really have a lot written down yet for this part and what i do have is still in pieces. However I’ve been feeling really good about Miss and Pup lately so I’ll probably start working on it this weekend and hopefully get some stuff down. I’ve also had an idea for a Pup x Miss Hayle short. Nothing in the works yet, just i feel she needs to make use of those big boobs shes got, and it could be cute pairing her up with pup for that. Idk maybe some day.

🔴OTHER STUFF🔵

I’ve had some ideas about doing another short with someones characters. A certain chav busty mouse has caught my eye lately, but maybe i’ll have to save it for a while.

🔴Another big thing, is that i plan to look into a kofi/ tip jar type deal. Honestly I’d love to be able to do this full time but realistically it is in no way an option right now. I feel like now that i’m trying to set goals and get stuff out more often that it might be okay to do something like that. My biggest issues with opening any sort of money thing is that i wouldn’t be holding up my part. Which i believe is just unacceptable. I very much think that you need to work to be paid and now that i’m working on providing more content i think i might try it out. It would also really help with bills and supporting myself. which of course is the priority right now.🔴

In time i hope to put something aside and see if i can get some art of Grace and Olivian. Just an idea right now but if you have any suggestions for artist or anything i’d love to hear about it.

Anyway as usual thank you all for reading and i hope to have something out soon.
