Okay, so my answer turned out to be really long, so I'm just gonna stuff it all under a cut. Also, second question first, cuz that's always fun.

📚 Is there a fanfic or fanfic writer you recommend?

The answer? Lots. I read a lot of fanfic (I'm a fast reader :) and I struggle with picking a favorite amongst things like books, movies, and fanfic. So, here's a (hopefully I can keep this) small list of awesome fanfics for both Amphibia and The Owl House that I absolutely recommend. Btw these are not in preferential order or anything, just a simple list.

(Some of the) Fanfics I recommend:

A Witch in Wartwood by @discet. And, of course, I have to include the sequel An Alchemist Abroad.

A Valeween Night To Remember by QuirkQuartz on Ao3. Just amazing worldbuilding and writing

Of course, I had to include this one: Let's Get Some Strings on You by @runemyth0 (It was just so well-written and captivating, what can I say?)

this will be our last dance by @kaseyskat- truly a wonderful story, I've reread this like three times now, and every single time I come close to tears.

Lost and Found by @themissakat- one of the first fics I read on Ao3, and I loved every second of it.

Literally my first fic ever in either fandom and one I still follow to this day- The Owl and The Frog by ChampionElCid.

The Days Ahead by GeminiAlchemist: just all-around amazing, a good ending to a bad end AU, and well-written to boot.

77Xfire's The Fourth Light: One of the best crossover fics I've ever read.

Return to Amphibia by @thenightslayers-musings: an amazing fic about the aftermath of Amphibia, and what would happen if the girls managed to make it back.

Message in a Bottle by BSChocolatte is amazing, really moving, everything. I have no words.

in the glow of the vending machine by Anonymous- I just really love this one, I spent like an hour trying to find it after the first time I read it and forgot to bookmark it

❤️ What is your favorite line that you've written in a fic?

Okay, well, this was a really tough one. So tough that I had to go through like half my fic to find lines I loved enough to call them my favorites. In the end, the win goes to three lines- more like a tie, then? Anyway, after a small warning of very minor spoilers for later chapters-

Luz gasped in delight. "Backstory..." she whispered almost reverently. (Chapter 7) I just love this line because I feel like it really fits Luz as a character, plus it's just a really fun callback (or shoutout cuz it never really happened in this AU?) to Canon!Luz and literally every time she says she loves backstories.

Anne shrugged. "I don't question the strange laws of Amphibia." "Don't worry, I'll question them for you," Marcy said, already lost in thought. (Chapter 12) This is undoubtedly one of my favorite lines. It just encompasses the Marcy and Anne dynamic I'm trying to go for, not to mention it emphasizes their friendship? Man, I'm taking this way too seriously, I just really love this line. I debated separating them but they're definitely better together.

He scoffed, finally working his hands free of the rope bindings. “Whatever. Don’t listen to me. Who cares.” Give it two weeks and I’ll be out of here. (Chapter 16) Okay, so this chapter hasn't actually been published at the time of answering this question, lol. But I love this line so much I just had to include it, so here you go. Technically spoilers, but makes like no sense without context, so *shrug*

I ran into this Molly McGee fic on AO3 and just had to draw fanart for it!! In this Fic, 'The Curse of Puppy McGee' by @/Thenightslayer on AO3 & @thenightslayers-musings gives us a fun lil story where Molly becomes a puppy, thanks to Scratch, and shenanigans ensue. Molly ~ Australien Retriever Mix Libby ~ Bloodhound (it also seems Andrea will come in the story, but she isn't mentioned yet so had to hold off from drawing her as a doggo too ^^)

Was Bee able to resist the obvious Monty Python reference when being told about Marcy?

Bruh, @opin88 has never seen Month Python and @silly-sketchy doesn't know enough about it to have picked up on what you were talking about. So we asked @ntf-03 and they appeared to be about as clueless as Opin! Finally, @thenightslayers-musings came along (all four of us are in a discord server together) and showed us the clip.

So we're gonna say that he chuckled a little to himself and maybe showed Anne the clip later. She did tell her parents about both Sasha and Marcy at the same time, just a little bit after chapter 26. So yeah, they had more than enough time to think about the whole situation!

So weird headcanon but since dr.Jan is probably old enough, and it seems to be canon, do you think she spent her childhood idolizing the Manhattan clan?

Considering that Goliath was in the book Marcy first saw the box (he was next to a page about Bill Cipher) it’s possible that Dr Jan heard about the Gargoyles in New York (in my rewatch of the show, I didn’t watch “The Goliath Chronicles” so idk if other ppl know about the Gargoyles) and since she is big into cyptids then she’d def b into them

So weird thing but with how you include Mr. Littlepot do you count the shut in as canon?

I view that episode in a “2 lies and 1 truth” way. Hop-Pop said that the stories they’re supposed to be telling are true. Anne’s is obviously from a movie she saw, Sprig and Ivy planned their story to scare the family so we could assume that it’s also not true (even tho’ it was the creepiest one of the 3), so then Hop-Pop, the old frog who’s a stickler for tradition (to a point) would want to follow the rules of the night. Plus with how passionate he is and mysterious his past is, it’s likely that the story he told is somewhat true.

Plus who wouldn’t want to have a tumblr sexyman George Takei Frog Grim Reaper to be canon?

Post Amphibia Andrais Headcanons?

Huh, I thought I’d gotten most of the major characters, I guess not. Well, let’s see, hmmm....

In an effort to help the injured, Andrias had any remaining Frobots bring the rejuvenation tanks that survived the crash up to the surface. He refused to enter one even tho’ he was suffering greatly from his fight with Anne.

Hop Pop found an old family heirloom and Andrias recognized it as the leaf pendant Leif had which was a gift he gave to her all those years ago. HP gave it to Andrias as a reminder of his ex wife friend which ‘Drias said that once he’s gone that the Plantars can have it back. Same thing with Grime and Barrel’s Hammer (another gift from Andrias to his ex-husband friend).

To help heal the land he build and redesigned a bunch of frobots thanks to the help of Frobo’s farming knowledge being used as a base part of the programming. He was put under intense supervision while making them to make sure he didn’t make any evil bots but he understood.

It took Polly a while to convince him to teach her what he knew about robots. After a few lessons he actually began to enjoy teaching her even tho’ she can be a bit intense and he realized that he should’ve been sharing his knowledge with others all these years instead of brooding.

Every year Olivia and Yunan check in with him and give him an update on whats going on with the land. He loves hearing about them talk about their kids and broke down when he found out that they named one after Marcy.

He’s fought off a number of attempted assassinations by those who are still angered by what he did to the land and others. Even tho’ he is nearly blind and has one arm/leg he hasn’t gotten a fatal blow yet.

While not at the premiere, he later went to the new statue of both Marcy in New Newtopia and of the Trio. He places flowers at Marcy’s feet each year (or at least tries to).

That’s about all I can think of atm. I think that’s all of the major characters, I might’ve missed one or two (and minor characters would have to be collective instead of their own posts)

Any thoughts on the Molly Jo being Sasha's half sister?

at first I didn’t think that its’ plausible since Anne would’ve recognized her but after reading Anne’s entries in the journal and how Sasha didn’t talk about her family stuff to Anne or Marcy, it might be possible that Anne didn’t know Molly Jo (but considering how much Sasha loves Anne and Marcy, it’s very likely that she’d probably know about Anne). Personally I don’t headcanon them as sisters but I can see how others could
