It is fucking insane how trauma can affect your body and how much your body changes when you’re in recovery.

#i stopped having as much of an issue with dairy #my stomach doesn’t get upset nearly as often #Walt talks #trauma #my body like. redistributed it’s weight? #I’ve had a growth spurt at 18 which . i can’t figure out if it’s genetics or like. the stress was delaying some pubescent effects #I’m tired. constantly. #which I’m assuming is burnout #but it’s fucking wild how much I can sleep #i can sleep for like 14 hours wherein I used to have to force myself to sleep more then 6 #my hobbies and skill sets improved like 200% in one year #without me hardly trying #which I’m assuming is like. my brain is responding to not being in fight or flight anymore #like it can finally put the years of practice into full use instead of being scatterbrained and panicked #I’m sure part of this is growing up but it feels too rapid to just pass as maturing
