Okay, have you seen Wolf Children? Because that's my thought process here. One of Jekyll's parents was a cat-shifter and Jekyll inherited that ability. When he gets emotional he can start transforming, so at times he might have to hastily smooth his hair back in an attempt to hide a sudden cat ear or something. Nobody knows what he is because his human parent was kinda sorta ashamed about him, so he's hidden it all his life.

Just.. Cat Jekyll napping in Maijabi's lap. He feels so guilty because no one knows it's him but Maijabi pets so gently and coos at him in a language he isn't quite fluent in and he feels so safe. Cat Jekyll going to injured Lodgers to purr and nuzzle them. Cat Jekyll pointedly knocking things off of tables that could very well end in Lodger stupidity if left intact. Cat Jekyll climbing Adam/Creature and he is so enamoured with this little animal that doesn't fear him in the slightest.

Okay but also Jekyll slipping up in human form. He slow blinks at Jasper and Maijabi and Zosi and everyone else he likes. He starts to purr whenever he's happy and scrambles to cover it with a cough. He plays with string and gets tangled in it. He hears someone mention that Jekyll Jr. looks a bit funny with his curled ears and bob tail and just grumbles 'that's a standard appearance for Highlander cats, you arseholes-'

Does he bring people dead animals? Does Hyde? Hyde definitely would, just 'oh there's Rachel! I'm gonna put a dead mouse in her pocket :3' and she gets a feelimg of deja vu because it feels like Hyde's pranks but cats don't prank do they?? Cat Hyde showing off his new injuries proudly to the others then trying to run away when they try to patch him up because NO, he wants them to SCAR so he can look TOUGH.

If you go the Jekffin route, maybe Griffin's cat is normally skittish of others but just.. adores Jekyll. They're always rushing to greet him and rub on his legs and Jekyll just understands their body language and needs so well and is so patient with them and ah FUCK, he's crushing on Jekyll, god this is the worst-

I have not seen wolf children but in all fair honesty, it looks like something my weeb-friend-trying-to-force-me-to-watch-anime would force me to watch <3 ANYWAYS. Still love that idea. Ooohohoho I don't know what's better, his father being the catshifter and his mother being deeply ashamed of the relationship combined with the premarital stuff bc of societal rules (hence why she was immediately scolding Henry for that dead bird) or his mother being the catshifter in a classic fairytale-esque way but being ashamed of it herself or knowing the father is ashamed about it, trying to hide all cat-ness with both her and Henry... Mmm, angst and parental trauma my beloved <3

...My brain immediately started thinking Henry's father getting seduced by a catshifter, accidentally fathering Henry, only for the catshifter to leave bby Henry on his doorstep and then just... Fuck off into the woods again. Does not make sense bc Henry has a mo- NO WAIT. OOHOH I GOT A BRANCH IDEA. His father already being married when Henry was born or his father marrying when he already had Henry, but telling Henry that his wife is his mom and that Henry was cursed from birth and that's why he can transform into a cat? Idk if Highlanders can be black but especially if he is a black cat??? ohoohohhoho ...Maybe that's why Morcant took such a liking to him immediately when they met, because he was supernatural? oohohoOHOO

I also just want to imagine that, despite his catness, his parents still loved him, even if they were a bit ashamed of who he was. Bby Jekyll having nightmares and it made him so upset he is stuck in cat form for a bit, creeping down the stairs to find his parents in the living room in front of the fireplace, him slowly creeping up on them and his parents immediately cuddling and doting on him when they see him... <3 (also this is just a bit of a branch, any other idea /idea for how Henry's relationship w his parents are welcome! <3)

I'm half if Maijabi should know about Jekyll being the cat bc of his spirit eye or not, bc that is used so much in my aus that it's kinda becoming cliche so I'm going to use the route that he doesn't. Just finding this lil cat with funny ears and a bobtail and immediately taking a liking to it. Debating adopting him because he knows that Jekyll would not have had the heart to kick Jr out if he has already adopted him. Scratching him under his chin and being the only one allowed to rub his belly. Henry getting so used to Maijabi's cuddles that the moment he is near him (in cat form) he stands on his hind legs and reaches his front legs up like a child wanting to get picked up and Maijabi always chuckles and picks him up, resting him against his shoulder. Henry sometimes getting a bit possessive bc Maijabi is his favorite lodger and tries to groom his beard and hair because it's always so wild. Maijabi just getting used to carrying a basket around or an extra shirt where JR can hang in bc he is so clingy and always wants attention. The Lodgers joking that Jekyll JR can sense sadness like a shark can smell blood and immediately rushes towards them to cuddle the everloving fuck out of them. The Lodgers cooing over him and telling him that he is so smart when he accidentally saves them from disaster, making sure to give him extra treats. Henry prowling the Society where he suddenly meets Adam. Adam stops dead in his tracks, having never seen this tiny cat before and being thoroughly confused as to why he isn't running away from him. Henry immediately walking up to him and rubbing his face against his leg, Adam hesitantly crouching down and reaching out his hand and Henry continues to happily sniff them and rub his face against them in that "I'm going to rub my teeth against your hand so you are mine now and you can't do anything about it" kinda way, Adam being close to tears bc this is the first time a living thing hasn't immediately run in fear away from him, Henry immediately using him as a stepping stool and climbing his arm until he can lounge over his broad shoulders, which quickly becomes his favorite nap spot.

(Adam secretly being very very amused when this tiny lil cat loves him immediately but hisses at Frankenstein)

Catboy Henry my beloved <3 Henry often not noticing how long he lets his nails grow until he accidentally scratches a Lodger (or the Lodgers clip his claws in cat form and it suddenly feels like his nails are going down to his bone. He never forgives them for that, even if he reluctantly accepts the treats). Loving to run his hand through his own hair with the perfect excuse that he is just making sure it doesn't get in his eyes. Him being so caught up in an experiment he doesn't notice that happy little butt wiggle he makes when he is focused. Him just being very loud and very yelly whenever someone isn't listening or giving him attention (although it's much more whiney and "PaaaaYyYYY aaaAAaAattention to meeEEeEEeEEE" kinda way). Just... Oh my god. Such an adorable lil bastards sjdfhsjdfh jshd <3<3<3

I have a feeling his instincts would get the best of him and he would start hunting the rodents around the Society when he is bored or hungry. Sometimes he sees a Lodger staying up late and the cat in him decides that they are not taking care of themselves and if they aren't taking care of themselves, they need food. Or that they have done such a good job and they deserve a reward. Maybe the longer he stays in cat form the more he gets into that "cat mindset" and doesn't realize what he just did until he is human again. Just... Drags a dead mouse over to a Lodger, jumps onto their table, proudly sets it down, and yells for them to get a snack. Maybe he would do a good job at hunting the invisible mice around the Society? Hyde definitely would hunt and bring in dead animals just because, although mostly bc he wants to show off his hunting skills. Him parading injuries and running away when people try to help him is so on brand sdfsdfsdfs

Griffin's cat loving Henry more than Griffin my beloved <3 Griffin realizing quite quickly that if he can't find his cat, they're with Henry. Griffin being so confused as to why his cat was never scared of Henry when they were even scared of Maijabi and Lavender. Griffin wondering if his cat genuinely fell in love with Jekyll JR bc he always finds them cuddled up together. Would Henry be able to understand Griffin's cat and be able to speak with them? Would he understand other animals as well? Jekyll and Cat having a deep conversation about the best lodger to cuddle or who gives them the best treats <3

hi my name is damian and i wanted to make a warrior cats ffxv au so i did! i’m still working on ardyn’s design and i will post him with the designs i have for regis, cindy, aranea, and ravus! maybe even a cor design!! but heres our “main” cast! more details about each cat under this point! keep in mind this is very very self indulgent and i have very indulgent sexuality and trans headcanons for all of them! if that upsets you i straight up don’t care and i think you’re boring. <3 also lunoct shippers don’t touch me. thank you! there’s going to be a lot lol

trigger warnings: cause of disability mentions and animal death!

corvidstar (based on lykoi cats): noctis! trans + gay, and the current leader of the crown kingdom! (i literally havent come up with any names yet so if anyone has ideas... lmk) when he was a kit he got very brutally attacked by a pack of what appeared to be daemon dogs! he was near death until he started getting visions from an odd fox spirit named carbunkle, who helped the young kit learn of starclan and their ways of revealing prophecies and eventually helps him recover enough to be watched over by lunarpool, a medicine cat in training! he’s told by his father (regis’s name in this au is ravenstar <3) that he’s meant to be the leader of their clan, and the prophecy takes a toll on his mental health. hes got three fantastic deputies who help him with dealing with the stress that comes with ruling a clan!

leopardstep (mixed bobtailed cat): prompto! also trans and gay, and one of covidstar’s deputies! he was placed into medicine cat training because of his size, being considerably smaller than the rest of his clanmates! he formed a friendship with lunarpool while practicing to be a medicine cat, and she eventually helps him get into warrior training! hes very small and fast, which makes up for his lacking of physical strength!

speckledsight (cornish rex cat): ignis! bisexual cat that trained corvidstar side by side with hawkflight, who both end up becoming corvidstar’s other deputies alongside leopardstep. speckledsight became a warrior for his fantastic vision and quickness + precision during battle, which is very helpful for a cat like corvidstar! he’s usually quiet and reserved, and does most of the hunting for the clan!

hawkflight (serbian cat): gladio! bisexual trans cat that helped train corvidstar, but unlike speckledsight, was very hard on corvidstar for most of his youth. he’s always been very close to the line of clan leaders, and when corvidstar had issue assuming that position he took it very personally, and didn’t bother to go easy or actually teach corvidstar much. everything turned around for him when he found out that corvidstar had saved his little sister harpykit during a fire. he then took it upon himself to always be there for the disabled cat, physically and emotionally! they’ve formed a very close bond since!

harpykit (serbian cat): iris! trans girl kitten who has always looked up to her older brother, and is currently aspiring to become a warrior just like him! she’s very small but full of fight and bravery! she’s witty and gets herself into and out of trouble very often, which is a habit she picked up from watching corvidstar grow up with her. she always talks about how she’s going to give corvidstar one of her lives one day, because of her vague memories of being rescued from the fire that nearly destroyed the clan.

lunarpool (lilac cat): lunafreya! a very sweet lesbian shecat. previous medicine cat for corvidstar’s clan, up until her sudden disappearance. ravenstar (regis) finds lunarpool’s whereabouts, only to discover that she was kidnapped by their rival clan “Ice Clan” (niflheim) as bait. this clan had found out about the prophecy predicting corvidstar to become clan leader with lunarpool as his mate, and to abuse this, stole the medicine cat. lunarpool eventually takes it upon herself to escape, and manages to find a very small barn, bustling with farm life, and occupied mainly by two cats.

the cat’s names are cindy and cid, and they take the medicine cat in after careful inspection and many questions from the elder cat cid. cindy and lunarpool become very close, and at this point is where lunarpool realizes she’s a lesbian, and tells cindy everything. cindy puts all of her love and trust into lunarpool and does everything she can to protect her new mate. lunarpool is then found once more by corvidstar, leopardstep, speckledsight, and hawkflight during patrol of their boarders. their reunion is sweet and corvidstar is more than happy to keep this a secret for lunarpool’s sake.

ice clan becomes antsy and starts accusing the royal cats of abusing the prophecies for their own gain, this is when a great fight breaks out between the clans. ravenstar falls and corvidstar is completely lost and broken, which leads the three deputies and their new leader to come back and tell lunarpool about everything that’s happened. the shecat is very hesitant at first, but eventually agrees to fight alongside her childhood best friends. after protecting corvidstar from a devistating blow, she sacrifices herself and is killed by a cat named brokenstorm. (ardyn, an ancient cat who was wronged by the royal clan in his past. previously named foxleap). ultimately the fight is never truly won, and both clans suffered great loses from the battle.

lunarpool remains as a starclan spirit and messenger, and her spirit is often seen curled around with her mate in the cozy barn they call home as a form of never breaking their promise of never being apart!

- a cat DEFINITELY follows Orpheus home after work, where he gave it a piece of leftover food cause “it just looked so sad, Eurydice!”

- like this skinny, ratty, piece of shit cat that seemingly loves them both unconditionally but also hates the couples guts.

- they never name it, cause they didn’t even realize that they even had a cat, at some point it just started coming in and out of the house and letting them pet it

- Orpheus keeps trying to befriend it, but it only likes to be loved when it wants to be loved. kind of like Eurydice.

- Eurydice acts like she doesn’t like the cat but secretly, she has a soft spot for it

- it’s a raggedy old tabby cat with a little short bobtail. they aren’t sure how it has such a tiny tail but Eurydice finds it so cute, but she won’t admit it.

- they literally just just call it “the cat” “our cat” sometimes “kitty” and eventually that develops into “kit” and then it’s name is “kit” after over a year of the cat just... staying with them

- kit comes and goes as it (they have no clue the gender and honestly dont want to check) pleases. but always comes back and settles in front of the warm fireplace, when the ashes have cooled slightly and the embers are glowing.

- their fondness grows until it’s a part of their little family.

- and then, in the bluntest way possible, it dies. it was an old cat to begin with, and it just doesn’t come back one day. they know that it didn’t wander off and leave them, they know it always would come back to their house and they know that it must’ve died somehow.

- it makes them a lot sadder than they thought it would

- they don’t really get any other pets, unless it happened by accident

Since I’m an easily confused bitch, I decided to keep track of the cats mentioned in Live A Hero by BeyondTheClouds777 on AO3 using a modified version of this base on dA. This was before chapter 12 clarified Rainbow was fully white, lmao, but since it has I’m still putting this one out. Every single cat here follows real cat genetics, and since BNHA takes place at least 150 years in the future, I figured some of the genes that are much rarer today might be more prevalent even in street cats! Red arrows are from kitten to adult color on the left; the ones on the right show what’s under the fully-white-masking gene. Green checks are the cat’s Izuku is keeping.

Bundle Up

The cold had never effected Cole in a lasting way, however after he became more human the snow was much less forgiving than it had been before. Luckily Dorian is there to help with some magic and stern words. AO3

It was snowing at Skyhold, and while snow was hardly rare at the fortress what was rare was how hard it was coming down. What started as soft flakes billowing gently down had turned into such downpour that mixed with the setting sun made it difficult to see anything past one's own arm.

No one was fool enough to wander around outside or even stray from their fire, no one but Cole that was. He had been in the tavern as the snow tumbled down and had hardly known it was falling until he heard someone shouting about how high it had gotten.

His thoughts jumped to Missy, a bobtail who he had fed once and who had taken to him immediately following that. Missy tended to avoid most people and places, and Cole was filled with the need to make sure she was ok.

So he left the tavern and began his slow march to the far courtyard, the wind started to pick up and soon the snow was biting his skin. He didn’t find her in her usual spot in the courtyard and so he entered the battlement and slowly began trekking to where he had once followed the cat.

His limbs ached and his body shook, though Cole paid it little mind. What mattered was making sure Missy was warm, he had been cold before and it always went away.

Though he couldn’t remember a previous time that his feet felt new stabs of pain each time he took a step. After many twists and turns he found it, a hole in the wall that his friend was curled up in. At hearing him approach the cat lifted it head and viewed him curiously, she gave a soft meow that had Cole smiling.

Though he frowned once again when he realized that Missy was probably still cold, he had seen animals frozen to death before and resolutely removed his outer shirt. It was somehow difficult to do with how bad the shaking had gotten but when the article came off he gingerly went to lay it on the animal.

Cole stopped when he noticed how wet the garment was, it even had ice forming on it, instead he laid it closer to the cat to use if she so desired. Missy stared at the garment before watching him and giving another, louder meow as if trying to convey her disapproval.

Cole gave a jerky nod, “I’ll let you sleep. See you later Missy.” He truly meant to leave but when he tried to step forward his legs folded underneath of him, he was able to throw out his arms in time to spare his head but the impact still hurt.

He tried to convince his legs that they needed to move and stand but they didn’t listen, his shivering grew harder and Cole realized just how tired he was. He often times had difficulty ‘knowing his limits’ as Varric put it and this wouldn’t be the first time he had all but collapsed from sleep deprivation.

It was odd because Cole knew that he had slept the night before but the cold was finally starting to hurt less and he let his arms fold as well. As he laid on the cold tile he saw Missy enter his field of vision and blinked, he hadn’t noticed her until then, she meowed at him loudly and Cole found the strength to give her a small pat on the head.

He noted as he did so that his fingers had turned an odd color but as the weariness grew he couldn’t recall what that meant exactly. Cole let his eyes fall shut and was distantly aware that Missy had chosen to lie on his face.

“Come on, imekari. Come back to us.” It took a moment for Cole to recognize who the voice belonged to and try as he might he didn’t understand the words The Iron Bull had said.

Had he gone somewhere? Cole tried to focus in on what was happening around him. It was difficult to feel past the numbness but when he did he felt strong arms pushing him to a broad chest, he was sure he felt thick fingers going through his hair but it was too far away to tell for certain.

The Iron Bulls voice rang out again and when it did the chest he was pressed against rumbled, so caught up in this new discovery he missed what he was saying. Something enveloped him, a warm heat that started off pleasant but became fire hot.

He wanted to cry out and move but his body didn’t move, slowly the fire spread through him lighting everything up with its touch. When it began to fade the shivering started again, wracking Cole’s body so hard his teeth clanged together.

“He’s shivering.” The Iron Bull said it with an odd tone and Cole wanted to look but his own thoughts were too loud.

“I can see that, but that doesn’t mean we’re out of the woods yet. I have to careful warming him up or he’ll go into shock. I can’t imagine it will be pleasant so hold him steady.”

The arms around Cole tightened slightly in preparation and the fire started again, but this time it felt hotter and burned worse than before. Cole didn’t think he was making any noise until The Iron Bull once again patted his head, “shh, it’s ok imekari. Calm down, it’ll be over soon.” That was the only warning he got before the fire spread once more and Cole let himself drift away despite the raised voices telling him not to.

The fire giving a loud crackle woke Cole up, the numbness was gone but so was The Iron Bull, Cole could tell he was laying on a bed though it felt to nice to be his.

The fire made more noise as someone poked at it and with great difficulty Cole opened his eyes, the fire was the only light so it must mean that it was night. Though the teen found that odd, his body felt heavy like it did when he slept for a long time but if it was still night then it had only been a few hours since he went out.

A soft rumbling to his left had him rolling his head to look at the curled up Missy sleeping on his pillow, he wanted to reach out and pet her but found his arms trapped by covers.

He squirmed around to try and free the appendage but all he accomplished was attracting the attention of the rooms other occupant, footsteps approaching him had him rolling his head the other way to see Dorian walking closer. “Finally awake are we?”

Cole tried to speak but all he could manage was an odd croak that had Dorian crowding around him to help him sit up, he othered a cup of water and helped the teen hold it. “Take small sips now, I don’t want you throwing it back up on me.”

Dorian ordered him gently and Cole made a small hum before taking a sip, it wasn’t cold and felt like liquid gold down his throat. However, all to soon Dorian was pulling away the cup and Cole was reaching for it, but when he saw his bandaged hands he drew them closer to look.

His left middle finger was missing a piece, or rather the whole top joint had been removed and he stared at the bandage curiously. Cole reached over with his other hand, which had all its parts he noted, and gently touched the now vacant area.

The moment he did he hissed in pain and Dorian whirled back around, at seeing what the young man was doing his frown deepened. “You’re lucky that and two of your toes were the only things you lost to frostbite. Honestly sleeping during a blizzard has got to be the most foolish thing I’ve seen in a long time, and keep in mind that Sera exists. Do you have some sort of death wish you failed to mention to us, or did you just fail to think?”

Cole went silent as Dorian turned back around to glower into the fire, “cold. Cold. Still, he’s so still. Pale, he’s white with black and not moving. Dead. He died while I was laughing inside.” Dorian had tensed up as Cole spoke and after a beat Cole spoke again, “I’m sorry for upsetting you.”

At the true pain in his tone Dorian turned back around to see Cole’s ‘kicked puppy’ look in full effect, “I’m not mad, just- it was a jarring sight. The only reason we found you at all was because that cat was wailing so loudly, and the only reason anyone was out looking was because Bull noticed how long you’d been out and got worried.”

Dorian let out a breath and sat back down with a hand on his head, “Cole I need to know what happened.” Cole kept his gaze before he found it unexplainably hard to do so and looked down, “the cold never affected me like that before. It would sting but then fade, never stayed long, never got bad. When I found Missy and I got tired, I didn’t realize I was real enough for this to happen.”

Dorian gave a hum of understanding, though he didn’t look comforted by the information. “Well in light of that information I propose a new strategy. In any weather or situation you want to go into that would be deadly or harmful to an average person, you tell someone. Well someone who would notice, like one of us. Alright? No more going out into a blizzard with barely any clothes on, ever.”

Cole dutifully nodded, “alright and Dorian, thank you for saving me.” Dorian seemed momentarily stunned into silence before he stood with a small smile and gave Cole a gentle kiss on the forehead, “of course. Now time to get some soup into you, oh and a great deal of people have been waiting for you to come to so prepare yourself.” That was Cole’s warning before Dorian opened the door and the room was flooded by people who called him family.

I just realized I never made a Triple R Au explanation post

The triple r au aka the reason i keep taggin cats with saguru/shiho/akemi

it's called triple r bc it's the randomized role reversal au

meaning i just entered a bunch of names and roles into a randomized and ran w it

there's no complete fic it's all just vignettes BUT there is a plot

one part follows heiji, akako, saguru, and the miyanos as they both lay low from the BO and use a combo of magic (saguru+ the miyanos) and science (akako) to reverse the APTX heiji took

part 2 follows detective kaito™ as he tracks down kaitou sapphire (aoko) and her assistant (ran) while also investigating the BO and their connections to pandora

part 2 2 electric boogaloo has aoko ran and chikage using the sapphire persona to find pandora

part 2 3 empire strikes back has ran avoiding answering pro soccer player shinichis questions about where she goes every few weeks

actual part 3 follows masumi and kazuha as they track heiji and akako to finish the both of them off (very angsty)

kaito doesn't know his dad was KID but aoko found out on accident

saguru, shiho, and akemi can all turn into cats like traditional witches: saguru turns in a white european shorthair/japanese bobtail mix, shiho turns into a grey british shorthair, akemi turns into a black mandalay

Kitty Reincarnation AU

So.. I’ve been thinking about this post and now I’m thinking of an AU where it’s like the movie “A Dog’s Purpose”

Basically Kitty gets reincarnated into different lives and actually remembers all of their lives. And yes I’ll have them live the exact same lives like the main dog did.

@evelinaonline @parachutingkitten I’m sorry! I had to give Kitty a happy ending! I couldn’t leave it with just angst!

(@lindsey-chr-not-found In case you’re still working on that Kitty fic. Here’s a little info about their first cat.)

They’ll go from living to dying as a stray. They’re born again. At a cat mill this time before running away from said cat mill, getting caught by someone, nearly getting dehydrated in their box prison, weakly meowing for help, and rescued by two young boys. (You know who they are.) “Krux, please! They’re practically meowing for help and it’s too hot in there for them! There’s probably not even enough air! We have to get them out!” “Fine! I’ll get the box open! Just keep an eye out for me and warn me when those guys come back.” These two boys just happen to adopt their first pet, Sandy, a long haired tabby.

Sandy grows up with them and gets cared for by them, and the twins just love Sandy too. They were so happy to finally have a pet, even if the cat did leave hair here and there. Suddenly, that one day happens. Acronix and Krux are clueless to what is about to happen. A pit viper is slithering just close to one of them and Sandy comes to the rescue. At first, it looks like Sandy has turned on them but upon closer inspection, they were really just protecting them. The fight happens and at first the Twins don’t know what to do until they realize they couldn’t just stand there and let their friend get hurt. They managed to make the snake flee from them but poor Sandy... just slips away in their arms. “No. No. Come on. Stay awake. You’ll be okay. Just stay awake. Krux, tell them that they’ll be okay.”

We hear Sandy’s thoughts saying (“Krux.. where are you? I can’t smell you... There you are.. Don’t be sad. It’s okay.. You were in danger and I saved you...”)

So their first life ends and the next life begins... a military Savannah Cat named Mei capable of carrying messages through a long distance, defending messages from others until delivered to the right person, climbing trees and jumping buildings to retrieve information, and catching pests. This would probably be set in the Serpentine War, just about two decades later after being with the Twins. Mei is adopted by a samurai man, basically a guard for the messenger cat, and he’s still grieving over the loss of his wife and child in the war, so Mei provides moral support for him during this time. (“Even if I did get praise, he was still sad... It smelled like someone was here, but they’ve been gone for a while.”) He tries to push the cat away but they persist on being in his presence. “Go away.” (“Why am I listening to him? I don’t want to leave. I can tell he doesn’t want me to leave either.”)

Same thing almost happens again. Mei saves the man from a trap but gets injured badly. “Mei! Oh no! Get medical help now! Feline got trapped! I repeat feline messenger trapped!... You’re going to be okay, Mei. You’re a good cat... You are.” (“I can tell from his voice.. that I did a good thing.... I need to rest.. Can I just sleep in your bed?”) That was the last thought Mei had before slipping away.

Another life begins. This time it’s a life better than a military cat. They live in what looks like a palace as a calico bobtail cat named Lulu. (“Wait. Where’s my tail?!?”) Adopted by a young princess (Not Harumi. This is the empress when she was a young adult.) You would think they’d be spoiled rotten but they are still a kind hearted kitty, but only to those they found deserving after learning in their last lives, and taking care of pests too.

One day the princess meets her suitors, none were chosen the first day. Lulu saw another cat. A bigger, stronger cat. Older than her too. (“I wasn’t in the mood to play. And then I saw him.... Woow.. What a leap.”) Lulu just takes her toy and forces the princess to follow after her to where they meet a prince. “I’m sorry. I don’t know what’s up with my cat.” “No it’s okay. Hey, you’re the princess.” “Yeah.” Lulu learns good judgement and helps the prince and princess get together. (“He smells really sweaty.. What is he nervous about?”) They later become the emperor and empress.

This time there is no trouble, except for another guy coming in with a dagger to the newly crowned emperor, but Lulu and the big cat still defended their owners and the man was taken care of. The older cat got taken away and Lulu never got to see him again. Sandy lives out their life as Lulu and just peacefully slips away into an eternal sleep. (“Honestly, this was one of my bests lives.”)

Sandy is back again. Set up in a box for adoption. They’re a cute short haired gray tabby kitten. You’d think someone would pick them but they get left out into the rain. It doesn’t bother them, but the lightning and thunder scares them. They nearly slip into a drain but got out. Unfortunately, they get chased by their natural enemy, dogs, and run deep into an alleyway. They find shelter for the night and head out the next morning.

Little did the kitten know, they would see a familiar face down that alleyway. It’s been so long since they’ve seen him. They hardly remember him, due to his outward appearance, but they feel that they know them from a long time ago. “Oh hey there. Are you lost, kitty?” The fluffy human asks, holding a French fry in his left hand. They hesitate before meowing for the fry. “Oh. That’s all you want from me.” The man just gives it to them and takes them off the street.

There was another, they’re both so familiar to them but they’re so different. The men argue back and forth before the younger is forced to use a pleading technique which somehow works on the older. Even that technique looks familiar too. And now the cat is named Dr. Kitty Saunders and they live with them in their home. They bond with the twins and the man in the wheelchair. (“Hmm.. the fluffy one smells different around the one in wheels. I wonder why.”)

They live out barely a few months with them and they’re abandoned. The man in the wheelchair takes them in, but they’re sad for not figuring out those two were those twin boys that saved Sandy in a past life sooner. Kitty had a nagging feeling to find them but wasn’t aware of the vehicle coming at them. (“No... I wanted to find them... I can’t leave them being sad... I’ve already left them sad before. I need to come back. I have to make them happy again.”) Kitty is determined to live again.

By the time the Time Twins return, they find out Kitty is already dead, but a little while later, they meet a new kitten, a calico tabby mix. For Kitty, its unfortunate that they don’t remember them, but Kitty will do everything they can. (“I have to make them remember that it’s me.”) They’re hesitant to let the new cat into their lives, not wanting to feel like they were replacing Kitty so soon.

The cat is persistent and stays with them. They end up adopting the kitten seeing that it’s stubborn like them and that this was still just a kitten with nowhere else to go. (“Even though they let me stay, I still can’t help but see Acronix being sad.. I don’t want him sad. What made him happy?... Wait... hold on..”)

(@buni-ninja You’d like this.) Kitty just walks out to find that person in the wheelchair, traveling through the city and into a building where he is at. “O-Oh my. Where did you come from?” He says. “Oh you have a collar. I wonder who you belong to-... Oh.. Oh dear.” Borg just sees the familiar address at first not wanting to encounter them again, but at the same time, he couldn’t keep something of theirs from them. So he takes the new kitten back to them.

Acronix: Dr. Borg! It’s you.

Cyrus: Indeed it is. I believe you lost someone.

Acronix: Oh Thank you. I was getting worried for them.

Kitty: (Hey. No. Borg, don’t leave. Acronix needs someone besides his brother.)

They just hear the kitten meowing at them.

Cyrus: Hehehe. They’re quite cute.

Acronix: Yes they are.... Uh.. Dr. Borg, I’m.. sorry for what happened.

Cyrus: It’s quite alright. I should get used to being forced to work especially after-

Acronix: No. It’s not alright. I know no there’s no excuse. I just.. I didn’t think my brother was THAT angry. I didn’t think he’d want to change everything so badly... I’m sorry for all that. I should’ve tried to talk him out of it instead of getting him lost in time with me for a long while..

Kitty: (There’s that smell again.)

Acronix: I was wondering if Uh... if we could... test out some of the new tech?

Cyrus: O-Oh.. Acronix, are you... trying to ask me out?

Acronix: Hey! I’m trying here!

Cyrus: *chuckles*

Kitty: (Come on, you two. Just rub noses already.)

(“They still don’t remember me?”) One day, they go to find their old favorite toy and insists Acronix to play with them. “Where did you get that?” (“Come on let’s play.”) The kitten is just all too excited to play. The younger twin just smiles and begins to play with the kitten.

“You go play with someone else, now.” He insists. The kitten refuses. (“No. I want to play with you. It’s been so long since we played.”) Acronix sees no other option but to at least tire the kitty out. “Alright. Fine. Wanna go for a showstopper?” The Kitten just goes with it, gets the toy while doing a little trick that seems all too familiar to him. “Where did you learn how to do that?” Kitty replies with a mew that almost sounds like a “you”

Acronix: You’re a strange one, kitty.

Kitty: Meow.

Acronix: Kitty?

Kitty: Meow.

Acronix: Are you Kitty?

Kitty: Meow

The kitten just does another trick they were taught by him and he’s just in disbelief.

Acronix: No...

Kitty: (Yes..)

Acronix: Saunders?

The kitten just runs up to him and hugs him. “It’s you! Kitty, it’s really you!” Acronix is so happy that he begins crying in joy. “Krux! Brother! Old man! You won’t believe this!” Acronix just rushes to his twin with the reincarnated Kitty in his arms.

Sandy has just come full circle with beginning with the young twins to coming back to those twins. (“Live life to the fullest. Cherish the good moments and help others through their bad ones. Make others laugh when they cry. Protect the ones you care about. Most importantly, have fun. Because every moment counts. And that’s what I learned in my lives.”)
