The “make me choose” meme is going around again on my dash and on one hand I wanna reblog it because it could be fun, but on the other hand I just know that someone (and I won’t say any names) will send in Tsuki and Top.
And oh boy, you just know that Mikoto would never be able to choose between the one he loves the most and would do anything for (even die) or his partner who’s been with him through all kinds of stuff and would go anywhere with him.
Like, in a life and death situation where he would have to choose... he couldn’t.
He would rather offer his own life than having to choose between those two.
I might have to add that if whoever is making him choose thinks it would be a ‘good’ idea to take the decision out of Mikoto’s hands, don’t.
He may not be able to choose between Tsuki and Top, but that doesn’t mean that he would have a hard time making your life a living hell. Not that said life would be every long anyway after making that grave decision.
He would be very creative coming up with ways to make you suffer to the point that you would beg for your life (or to be killed), and even then he wouldn’t show mercy and relieve you off your pain/suffering (kill you).
You went after his beloved, so he’s making you pay in the most cruel ways possible (which is only fair in Mikoto's opinion).

The Empress
The Empress: What would your muse name their children?
Okay, we already had ChibiUsa (small rabbit). Let’s hear more about Mikoto’s inability to come up with names.
Yume (dream); if Mikoto knows the child has powers related to dreams
Mitsu (light)
Namika (flower of the wave); as reference to their first meeting as adults by the ocean
Hoshi or Hoshiko (star)

3 approach the cabin
Hael sat on the front porch of cabin eighteen. She watched as a stranger completely ignored the warning signs that had been placed and walked up to her. Most campers didn't even get this close to her or the cabin itself. “You’re braver then I thought. Most people at least read the signs.” Hael tilted her head back and stared up at them. “Can I help you?”

10 (High School AU)
Fumine had separated from her group of friends, taking a break from dancing and talking and socializing to get herself something to drink and maybe a snack. She enjoyed school social functions, which came as a surprise even to her since otherwise most of her time was spent in the science labs or the archeology club. But it was nice to put all of that aside fro a night or two here and there to just hang out. She stood to the side of the table with her cup, watching the crowd of students move around the auditorium.

Don't chase the rabbit
((WHOOPS I FORGOT ABOUT THIS BUT NOW I HAVE A GOOD ONE))
Jen hadn’t fully recovered from the fight that left her with her right eye temporarily unusable, and her arm blistered with fresh blue tattoos. But by the time they left Kizios’ hometown for the Bavarellian clan’s towns in Florida, She felt some of her life returning back to normal, at least somewhat. Everyone with them was still alive, and that’s how it was supposed to be.
Still, sometimes the aches and pains of the last few weeks slowed her down considerably. While the other three in her small traveling group weren’t too far away, she was a bit nervous on her own. If only she wasn’t so weak…
"Oh—" before noticing who exactly was in front of her, she bumped into someone in her way. Groaning a little and stepping back, she rubbed her unpatched eye, a little startled by just who it was in front of her. "Oh!" It was an exclamation of surprise this time, as she looked up at the considerably taller woman with short brown hair and lighter-toned brown skin. Her name—she could’ve sworn she heard her name before…
"If it isn’t the prodigy girl from Galevonia," the taller woman said, putting a hand on her waist. A corner of her mouth quirked up, changing her otherwise serious expression into one of curiosity, maybe even some friendliness. "Every time I see you, you’ve got some new bandages."
In most cases, this would have offended Jen, but with the way this woman said it, it was simply a statement, maybe even a little humorous. “Heh, yeah…keeping count?” She had met this woman after the battle in Rodoth not too long ago, but oh, what was her name??
"Maybe I ought to. Whitney Bellein, second Lieutenant of the Kudzuan Army." She introduced herself, which made things a little easier for Mint.
Jen gave a little thanks for the grace, and bowed in a small gesture towards the soldier. “Pleased to meet you Whitney, I’m Jennifer, but…I’m sure you know my name already, given your knowledge of the prodigies already, right?”
"Mm-hmm." Whitney nodded, shifting her weight to one leg. "I’ve been appointed to keep track of our ally’s prodigy—Kizios Pardos, of course. Unfortunately, he seems to have left before I could follow him. Will you be seeing him again?"
"Y-yeah," Jen answered, looking down at her nails and fidgeting. "We’re all kind of split up now, but we’ll re-form once we get within Bavarellian territory. I guess that means you’ll follow us…?"
Whitney answered to that with a single nod, and followed the younger, shorter woman to the rest of the group. The two had kept each other a sort of quiet company for the next several weeks; not that Whitney talked much. She didn’t show her pleasure or displeasure too often, but seemed to listen to Jen when she spoke of the events that had transpired since the battle—and believed her, of all things.

The Empress (just for the fun of it xD )
The Empress: What would your muse name their children?
One of the recent conversations Tsuki-mun and I had about this topic:
Me: Y'know, if it was a girl, I wouldn’t put it past sensei to pitch ChibiUsa as a possible name.
Tsuki-mun: There would be a very firm “no”
Me: Watch sensei pout forever. XD
Tsuki-mun: Tsuki would put Mikoto in front of the whole arrangement of gods and have him explain to them why the newest god, born after hundreds of years, who rules over dreams, is named small rabbit.Just for a second opinion
Me: I can’t stop laughing. This is too funny to imagine. XD
Tsuki-mun: Smug moon god eats popcorn while husband is lectured about naming things
Me: This is getting better and better! XD And Mikoto can’t even defend himself by saying something along the lines of “Well, my name means something like ‘great ruler of the dinosaur age’. Do you see me ruling over any… dinosaurs…?” And then he shuts up because he realizes there’s Top and some other dinos he knows and like him.
Tsuki-mun: Tsuki chimes in about that one time you mind controlled two dinosaurs from an alternate worldXDThe baby god’s name is probably going to be pretty literal as well
Me: And the pouting would continue. XD Everything is better than whatever sensei would come up with, trust me. The kid will be fine if Tsuki chooses the name. Knowing sensei, the kid’s name will be shortened/turned into a nickname anyway at some point.
Tsuki-mun: I’d expect no less from sensei XD

Don't chase the rabbit
In passing, the moon god had heard the animals of old talk amongst themselves, resolving to be generous. He wanted to test how far they were willing to go. Dressed as an old beggar as to not be recognized and hiding his power, he passed by the animals and pleaded for something to eat.
He was given fruits, fish and milk, though none of that truly interested him for very clear reasons. The rabbit though, small as he was, looked so sad that he couldn't offer him anything that he could eat. The rabbit asked him to build a fire, which was no hard task really. He was curious what the rabbit would do for him with a fire. Surely not use the gifts he'd already received?
His shock was clear when he saw the rabbit, white and round and determined, hop up to the fire and leap into it. No way! Reaching in his hands, he pulled out the rabbit and protected him before he could be burned. Instead, he held him close to his chest carefully, like he was a rare gift.
"Little one... You've shown be such generosity and kindness, but do not throw your life away for me." His voice changed as he slowly got rid of his guise, glowing a soft silver. He didn't deserve such a pure heart sacrificing themselves for his sake.
"I will reward you. You may come live with me if you wish and stay by my side on the moon until the end of time itself."The rabbit looked awestruck, taking a moment for it to realize that is had to answer him. "I would be honored, my lord.""Tell me, what is your name?"The rabbit shook his head. He did not have a name. Most animals did not and he didn't think he would live long enough to need one.
"Then I shall name you." The moon god tugged a cloth from within his robes. It was pink, with the symbol of the moon tribe on it. Carefully, he laid it around the bunny's neck. "From this day forward, you are Inaba. How is that, my friend?"
"Inaba..." The rabbit repeated, sounding happy and nodded firmly.

It was an old-school execution, especially for Foundation X. Death by firing squad. Stripped of her weapons in her capture and lacking her ability to set the world on fire, Shroud had been bound by chain and stood in front of a wall. They blindfolded her, but they made a very large mistake. They were doing this at night. The guns were raised by command. They took aim... But the guns never fired and there was the (at least to him) satisfying sound of gurgling blood from necks.
It was an ironic way to go really. She'd relied on firearms so much in fighting them. Maybe that was why they chose to put her down this way. But she chose to at least go down with dignity. No struggles, no attempts to flee. As it was, she was well past her time. She braced, hearing the command to aim.
And then nothing...
There was silence for a few long seconds, and then the sound of bodies dropping. She hadn't realized it, since she'd been blindfolded when they'd brought her out, but running it through in her head... Full moon tonight. She smirked lightly.
"Looks like I owe you another favor..."

Don't chase the rabbit.
Oh nononononononononononono
Fia could hear the man chasing after her, screaming and yelling, his feet thudding against the ground. But, as she reminded herself, she was faster and smaller than him. If she could just find a small place to slip through, she would make a clean get away with her prize. She dashed around a corner, her eyes already searching for just the right spot.
She never found it. Her vision was blocked by the black and grey of the uniform of a Zangyack soldier as she ran into him. The soldier glanced down as she fell back, his face impassive. "Watch it, brat."
He was about to turn away when the man chasing her rounded the corner, breathing heavily, and pointed at her. "CATCH THAT LITTLE RAT!"
Fia tried to scramble to her feet and scurry away, but the soldier was much faster, grabbing her and pulling her up so she was dangling in front of him, her prize still clutched to her chest. She kicked her legs and squirmed, trying to get free, but the soldier shook her until the pain in her arm made her stop. Then he turned to the man as he stumbled up to them, his face still impassive as ever.
The man glared at her, and wrenched the object in her arms away. "You... little... thief... You... don't... get... to... have... that..." He took a moment to catch his breath and looked down at the prize, disgusted. "Now it's ruined. I cannot sell this." He threw it away, where it landed in a mud puddle, and looked at the soldier. "Thank you. Now I should get back to work. You deal with the rat." With that, he stomped off.
The soldier looked down at her, his face still uncaring, as if he were contemplating an object, as opposed to a human being. Finally deciding, he flung her away, and she hit a wall. Then he left her there, without a single glance back.
Fia took a moment to recover, before crawling over to the mud puddle and fishing the object she had tried so hard to get. Tears streamed down her face as she looked at it. If only she hadn't had a coughing fit when she was taking it. He wouldn't have noticed if she hadn't coughed. She tried to clean it off with her sleeve, but it was no use. It was ruined.
Still, she crawled back to the wall and leaned against it, clutching it to her.  Her chest hurt, and her head hurt and her arm hurt and her stomach hurt. She began coughing again, each cough shaking her small body. She covered her mouth as best she could, and when she pulled her hand away, there was something red there. She sniffed, and the coughing began again.
It eventually stopped, but Fia had fallen over, her eyes closed, unaware as the loaf of bread rolled away from her.

A god in your backyard (themurderousmoongod REDUX)
Daylight Savings Time was over, so that allowed extra time for the dark at night for certain areas all over the country. That may have discouraged some people from leaving the house later in the evening, but not Ellie. Of course, Ellie wasn't exactly a person, and she didn't have all the fears and preconceptions of a human being. The furry, four-footed, winged creature scampered across the yard, poking her head in bushes and chewing sticks with her beak, making herself quite the expert on patrol. Or at least, that was how she saw it. She stayed around the perimeter of the yard, never down the hill or into the forest; she was a good girl, and quite proud of that.
Her patrol was going fine for the most part, nothing out of the ordinary--until she caught an odd smell. Something not quite human, not completely familiar, but not that of a wild animal. Carefully, she rounded the corner, catching a glimpse of a two-footed creature in the midst of the garden. Human looking, yes, not human-smelling, but definitely looking the part. Curiously yet cautiously, she approached him, chattering to make herself known.
