Want to learn algebraic geometry.

So I am an undergrad doing my majors in CS. Mathematics deeply interests me and I find joy in Theoretical Computer Science (Automata Theory mostly). I am somewhat familiar with introductory Abstract Algebra (having taken a basic course on Groups, Rings, Fields and Vector Spaces.)

I have been told that algebraic geometry is a really beautiful field of mathematics, but also that it is reputedly tough, even for mathematicians.

However, I really want to learn the subject. What are the prerequisites I am supposed to have? As an undergrad, what is the best way to start learning the subject?
