Since a little while after the dry eye started, Tristan has been squinting into the camera. I assume it's focusing/range-finding lasers that bother him a little more than he's used to.
I often deal with "don't want to look at camera" by asking dogs to look at me, instead. But Tristan is too much of a pro to look away. He knows what this is about, and he is GOING to do his job, thankyouverymuch. I am wondering if there's some way to relieve the lights in his eyes while still getting pictures in focus.
Let's all let him know, though: TRISTAN HAS MASTERED BEING THE BEST. Tristan buddy, you are the Best Boy Ever. You don't need to hurt your eyes, buddy, I promise.

i love you people who go above and beyond to be accommodating without you even asking. a while back I asked the dental assistant person if I could have sunglasses instead of clear glasses when I visit because the lights are too bright for me, and ever since she's made sure to give me the darkest sunglasses she could find every time. and today she--completely unprompted, I didn't even know this was an option--turned off the harsh overhead lights too, and like. I cannot explain how touching it is to have others make changes to help you instead of you making changes to yourself to make things work. i love it very much. so to those out there who put in that effort, thank you :)

Request 2: Drider Scriabin being aesthetic and spooky! Thought about how if you wear a headlamp outside at night, all the sparkles in the grass are tiny reflective spider eyes (personal experience with camping) and with his mirror lenses being reflective, it sparked a mental image of scary spider man in the dark with his 'eyes' being the most visible thing by torchlight (or spell light). If you want, maybe something with pretty spiderwebs in the background because Spiderwebs! Are! Cool!

I need artists to put disclaimers under the art of funny lil guys that happen to be from heartbreaking shows. I need a warning. Y'all can't get away with posting fun lil anime men in silly poses without mentioning the show is incredibly heartbreaking, like I just wanted to know more about the blonde glasses man in the red coat and now I'm here like
How can they hurt my boy so all he wants is peace and doughnuts 😭

₊˚ʚ₊˚✧ ゚.☾ new verse: death note! a starry ink in the cold dark.
aka we're out the hospital again and we're boppin' to a new verse!
medicated tl;dr? virote has owned a death note for a very long time that he acquired right outside of his home in a hydrangea bush one night, accidentally put there by a shinigami named enya. he found his about eight years before the events of the manga / show. never used it much. he only killed the people that personally hurt him when actual forgiveness didn't work. though, he ended up feeling guilt over it and decided to stop. but he does hold on to the death note for safekeeping+not wanting it to get into the hands of someone truly reckless and because he had become companions with enya at that point.
when the kira killings start, virote immediately knows what's up because he's been there before... though on a much smaller scale. light killing pages worth of people in 5 days vs virote killing about ten people in the span of about two years is a big ass canyon that can't be compared.
anyway, events unfolding, he definitely tries to be a voice of reason in a, ' bro, it's not even worth it ' kind of way. but, virote also knows that sort of power could run someone insane very quickly.
virote had to ego check himself early on because he knew if he kept using his own death note, he would've been in the same position.
