PLEASE HELP!!!

My friend Moataz @moatazart, his wife Mariam, and their baby girl Maria are trying to evacuate Gaza. They are trying to raise money to procure food and shelter for when they reach Egypt (God willing). They are set to travel in about 2 weeks, and their fund has only 9 days left before it closes! If they cannot raise the money, they will be homeless in Egypt! Please please help them rebuild their lives in safety!

bruce and dick and cass are an ouroboros only in the sense that their sense of duty for the city and for each other (bruce for his children that he wants to get out of vigilantism, dick and cass for faith in the bat mantle and what it means for gotham—and why it is important to ensure it lives on); you cannot talk about one without the others.

however jason forms an ouroboros in of himself. he eats himself—in the sense that he wishes to erase when he used to be gentle/believed batman could save anyone (would save him), and more importantly erase the fact that he only died because he failed as robin (<- this he holds himself in self-contempt as much as he does bruce). he eats himself post-resurrection too because his anger is not sustainable. he never planned to survive because he saw this second life as an opportunity to right a wrong, he is in gotham in a darkened building making his father point a gun at him whilst he is still one foot in his grave. he rises so that he can return.

So the whole “Batman’s mission is impossible and futile” thing is… eh, to me, because I feel like the read on Batman should be like. The fable about the girl throwing baby turtles into the ocean, knowing she can’t save them all from the seagulls swooping in to eat them. It shouldn’t be this nihilistic hopeless thing. Batman’s perspective shouldn’t be “I can’t save everyone so it’s meaningless and everything I do is just self-punishment”, it should be “It means everything to the people I CAN save.”
