Google wont let me share my documents for some reason, so fuck me I guess

Anyway, here are three renditions of the Crossover body switching story. There were/are other crossover stories but they....didn’t focus on Corvus or the theme or anything:

NUMBER ONE: In which Corvus wakes up in Team Resordie’s bedroom.

Corvus awoke to the noisy sound of cicadas buzzing. Although she could barely make out her surroundings, Corvus felt like throwing a heavy object towards the sound’s source; the buzzing had resounded throughout the room, loud and clear.

“Damn..” Corvus mumbled as her eyes adjusted to her bedroom.

Or what she had thought was her bedroom. Instead, Corvus came to the realization she was, in fact, not in her bedroom. She knew something was wrong when she found herself sleeping on the floor rather than her usual luxurious king-sized bed.

“What the fuck…?” She questioned, looking around. “Where the hell am I?”

Almost immediately, Corvus noted how simple the room was; compared to her decorative custom-made Gothic quarters, it struck her as quite strange.

The walls were a lovely shade of teal, contrasting the floor’s glossy deep-brown oak. When she craned her head to get a better look at the ceiling - pitched high above - Corvus found herself laying on several lengthy layers of bedding, akin to a mattress. She noticed the duvet, a matching white, had been carelessly tossed aside to the left - where a humongous glass wall filtered in copious amounts of sunlight.

Trying to grab the duvet, Corvus immediately reeled backwards when warm sunlight struck her. Such bright light made her eyes hurt, especially this early in the morning. At least, she thought it was morning. She wasn’t sure - yesterday’s events were a blur and she had no when she fell asleep.

She never did.

Usually, Midnight would wake her up - if not Midnight, then Shane.

She would never let Lance wake her up, though.

He may save lives, but that small act would give the magician too much responsibility then what he was used to.

The Malefica kids were allowed, but only if Midnight was pressed for time.

“Where is Midnight? Shane?” Corvus took another gander around the room. “L-lance?”

She would’ve called out for Midnight, but then her eyes took notice of a shelving unit - positioned across the room. It was humongous - the top of the unit seemed towering.

Curious, Corvus decided to jump out of bed - though, futon seemed more applicable - and towards the shelving unit.

Upon closer inspection, Corvus realized the unit was piled with a copious amount of objects. There were four shelves, the tallest one - to Corvus’ surprise - reached the tip of her forehead.

Seems bigger from a distance, Corvus mused as she ogled the contents.

Each shelf had something different. The lowest had several rolls of dressing, compression bandages taking up a majority of space. The second also had medical dressing, but in the form of cutesy childlike blue plasters. The third shelf was empty. Finally, the remaining shelf - Corvus had to tiptoe to see - was littered with piles of books.

Corvus reached out for a book -- I cry at Night by Etom Balewa.

“Huh,” she said, flipping through its contents. “This doesn’t seem like a real book.”

In fact… Corvus thought. None of this seems real… I don’t recognise these things, or this place, at all...

She wondered what was happening - was Midnight testing her again? Her soulmate could be challenging at times - when another thought suddenly popped into her mind.

Oh, I get it. This has to be… a dream! That’s why everything seems so weird, and uncanny - I must be dreaming!

Somewhat relieved she wasn’t trapped in a madman’s underground bunker, Corvus exhaled a sigh of relief.

But if this is a dream, which I’m sure it is… Corvus placed the book back onto the shelf and return to the comfort of the makeshift mattress. She slumped down, reveling in what little warmth remained. Then it’s time to get some good sleep!

She closed her eyes.

And then a ripping shriek forced her to open them again.

“What the FUCK was that?!” Corvus exclaimed.

Okay, seems even my fucking dreams won’t let me rest.

What is this? A nightmare?

She searched around the room for the noise - nothing seemed amiss. After the sudden outburst, the atmosphere resumed complete silence. A few minutes passed, Corvus listening out, before she went back to bed.

That was weird. Well, whatever.

Time to sl--

Another shriek interrupted her.

“FOR FUCKS SAKE!”

By now, Corvus had grown immensely furious. Even her dreams couldn’t let her rest.

Just what was that screeching?

NUMBER TWO: Like the first excerpt, BUT written from a first-person perspective and some things have changed.

What the fuck is that? I think as I stir in my bed.

It takes me a while before I realize it’s the sound of cicadas buzzing - I didn’t even think I could recognize that. Yet, it’s not that all strange. Shane’s alarm clock is customizable, and boy, does he abuse that privilege often.

Countless times I’ve woken up to chirping, roaring, squealing, squeaking… Anything that comes out an animal’s mouth, I’ve probably already heard it. So today is no exception, though I never thought he’d stoop to insect level.

I should really get my own bed at this rate.

“Shane, turn that shit off…” I sleepily mumble.

I tug at the blanket - the air breezes in, like a river flow, and I find myself shivering. Has it always been this cold? I mentally remind myself to tell Lance to pay the bills.

Our schedules are pretty packed, I doubt either Midnight or I would have the time.

Fortunately, Midnight’s tree-boy Lance is a successful doctor with enough time.

The cicadas carry on buzzing and another gust of wind sweeps in.

Seriously?

“Shane.” I say again. “Turn. It. Off.”

I love that boy, I really do - but even the best relationships have their limits.

Mine just so happens to be animal-noise-alarm-clocks.

When there’s no response and the cicadas buzz for a third time, I find myself abruptly rising up, ready to give my husband an earful. It’s only when I crack open my eyes, that I then realize I’m not in my room. I’m not in my bed. And most importantly, the guy sleeping next to me is not my loving husband, but rather, a stranger.

I jump at the revelation, almost falling backwards. I manage to stabilize myself, nevertheless I do let out a sudden yip! - subtly is not exactly my best policy. Neither is gracefulness, if I’m being honest.

Upon closer inspection, I realize a few things:

The room I’m in is quite small - it makes me feel claustrophobic. Aside from a few drawers, and random bits of clothing and other junk, there’s only a bed. The window is open - which explains the coldness and the buzzing.

Hang on, can I call it a bed? A mattress seems like a better choice. Though, even that is pushing it. It’s more of a giant amalgamation of blankets. It’s comfortable, I guess, but my back is sweating like crazy.

The stranger sleeping next to me - I think he might be dead. He’s sleeping face down, so all I can make out is scruffy white hair. Oh god, please don’t tell me this is a nightmare, where I’m sleeping next to the corpse of a dead old man. He even smells like old-man-ointment from here. Oh god.

The third point unsettles me slightly. I don’t have the best of luck with nightmares, and if this is one, I’d much rather wake up to my usual environment.

Unnerved, I lean in to examine the corpse. If this was a nightmare, or if he is dead, then surely he wouldn't be breathing.

For the most of it - my fears are confirmed. The corpse doesn’t move. Until, that is, I give him - it? - a firm shake. It couldn’t hurt to try.

NUMBER THREE: Where Corvus wakes up in a different body. [This is similar to N4, but I wasn’t sure where to take it]

“Hey, are you awake?”

Corvus slowly rose, to a distant voice calling her.

“Ugh…” she mumbled, giving her temples a rub.

Her head throbbed with sudden dull pain, though she wasn’t sure of the cause. She was sure it was to do with yesterday - yet, she couldn’t remember anything previously. If anything, yesterday was a complete blur to her.

Cracking open her eyes, Corvus blinked rapidly. The setting around her was dark and she could barely make out anything. She gave her eyes a rub, allowing her vision to slowly regain. When she came to, Corvus almost jumped in shock as a familiar figure suddenly appeared before her.

“Oh, good. You are awake.”

“B-bandages!?” Corvus questioned.

Out of all the Dickcissel residents, Bandages was the least she’d expect to run into. Especially not someone she’d expect to wake her up.

With his sizeable emerald eyes and scruffy white-blonde hair framed in a petite bandaged person - Bandages seemed anything but hostile. That is, until he opened his mouth. With acidic words and a bad temperament, Bandages was deceitful in appearance.

Corvus had tried, once, interacting with the hostile boy - yet, due to his abrasiveness and her impatience, it quickly fell through. She had never expected to see him after that.

She reckoned she must’ve been gawking, because Bandages frowned at her.

“Well, yeah, obviously,” he replied - again, Corvus was taken aback by how...softer he sounded. It was nothing like his usual screaming. “I was looking for you.”

“F-For me!?”

“Who else, dummy? Jeez...now’s not the time to play your usual tricks! Anyway, I got the stuff. Like you said.”

Corvus was confused.

Tricks? She had never been that kind of girl - she preferred brawling.

And what did he mean by ‘stuff’? What was going on?

Bandages dug into his shorts. She was somewhat taken aback when Bandages pulled out a large container from seemingly small pockets. Upon closer inspection, Corvus realized the jar was packed to the brim with some sort of nut - almonds, it seemed.

Without saying anything, Bandages gave the jar a firm shake before shoving it towards Corvus.

What? She thought. Why is he giving this to me?

She wanted to ask, but before she could, Bandages gave a nod, as if to say ‘go ahead’.

Corvus was seriously confused. Did he expect her to do something with it?

What am I supposed to do? I don’t know!

She tapped the container lid. It was tightly screwed.

Wait a minute, she realized. Does he want me to open this? Oh!

Taking the initiative, Corvus held the lid between her two hands; she was somewhat surprised by their colour - her hands looked completely different. Rather the her usual pale colour, they seemed darker.

It’s nothing, she thought, twisting the lid with all her strength. I’m probably still dreaming. That’s probably what’s going on. I mean, why would Bandages come to me - of all people - to open a jar? It doesn’t make any se--

“Thanks.” Bandages suddenly spoke, interrupting Corvus’s train of thought. She realized that she had successfully opened the jar, a stale stench sifting through the air.

Huh!? T-thank you!? She mused, as the boy took the jar from her. Why is Bandages thanking ME?

Bewildered by his nicety, Corvus watched Bandages scoop a handful of almonds from the jar, shoving them into his mouth. Without saying anything else, he arose from the floor and made a beeline towards - what Corvus assumed to be, the area was still poorly lit - the door.

Before he left, Bandages turned back on his heels, facing Corvus.

“By the way, I almost forgot to ask,” he spoke through mouthfuls of almonds, “why are you sleeping in the basement, Xavier?”

What.

What?

WHAT!?

Xavier felt as though a heavy burden was pressing against his chest. Half-asleep, he chalked it down to some form of nightmare. It wasn’t until a few minutes after he awoke, where he couldn’t bear the weight any longer, that he came to the realization that the nagging pressure was still there.

Not a nightmare, then. He sleepily thought.

Drowsily, Xavier patted his chest. Something warm and soft pressed against his arm.

“What the…?” he mumbled.

NUMBER FOUR: Like N3, but I’ve been writing this one slightly more hence why it’s so long.

Corvus felt she was drowning.

She felt as though someone was watching her writhe in pain.

Her skin felt tense, being ripped apart by something.

“No…” came her feeble response. “No… No….”

“No!”

Taking a giant gulp, Corvus abruptly awoke.

Her skin was sticky and hot; her sight was blurred - By tears? Sweat? She couldn't be sure.

She groped around, trying to feel for her surroundings.

All she could make out was that she was in a bed - the mattress was stiff, and the blanket felt incredibly thin, like tissue paper.

What was that!? She thought, wiping sweat from her forehead. Just what the hell was I dreaming!?

“Oh, you’re finally awake!” A bright voice spoke, interrupting her thoughts.

Corvus watched as a dark figure came into view - she gave her eyes a hard rub; when her vision came to, she realized the figure was another Dickcissel resident, Nate.

Nate? What is he…

That’s when Corvus looked around, taking in her surroundings, and came to the realization that she wasn’t in her regular dormitory, but rather a hospital ward.

“Where am--”

WHAT?

Corvus almost jumped.

The voice she spoke sounded nothing like her own. It was more distinct and slightly deeper.

If anything, the sound reminded Corvus of a highly-refined male.

“Where are you?” Nate replied. “Oh, you’re in the infirmary. That was quite a terrible fall you took there yesterday!”

Yesterday? What was I doing yesterday?

As Corvus tried to recall, her head throbbed with pain.

“Ouch.” she winced, clutching her temples.

“Are you okay? Do you need me to get you another tablet, Xavier?”

...What?

Did…. did he just call me Xavier?

Nate must’ve been speaking out of habit, she was sure of it. After all, Xavier was her current teammate and his former teammate, so she could understand the mix up. Though it was quite perplexing - her and Xavier looked nothing alike.

With her fair skin and ebony hair, one could almost be forgiven for mistaking Corvus as an average human. Almost, that is - had it not been for her blazing jade eyes, framed ever-so-perfectly within her sculpted-to-perfection face, followed by her signature black lipstick. There was also her willowy yet taut and buxom body that could rival Aphrodite - something she emphasised with her gothic fashion. She had whittled several hours away on perfecting, what she called, goddess-in-human form beauty.

Xavier, on the other hand, was more inclined into the art of subtleness. Corvus had never seen him engaging in such aesthetics. Not that it affected him - as expected of a prince, his natural looks were enough to be fawned over. He reminded Corvus of a pristine collector's doll - with his skin, always chestnut, framed by his neatly-swept grey hair - his violet eyes were bewitching at times. He was always covered, head-to-toe, and the only time Corvus saw him approach a mirror was to inspect his horns, peeking ever so slightly from his cranium.

Wait a minute.

Mirror! I need a mirror!

“Nate, could you get me a mirror?”

“A...mirror?”

Nate paused, digging into his pockets.

He held out his hand; a broken shard, reflecting the room’s light, twinkled.

“Would this do?”

“Thanks,” Corvus replied. Carefully, she held the shard up to her face.

Except it wasn’t her face.

It was Xavier’s.

“What the…” she murmured.

So Nate was speaking correctly. I’m… Xavier.

Although the evidence was right in front of her, Corvus couldn’t wrap her head around it.

I’m Xavier? I’m Xavier!

What? How is that- when did I…?

“I don’t understand!” Corvus suddenly exclaimed, making a wary Nate jump.

“Nate,” she spoke again, trying to even her voice. “What...what exactly happened yesterday?”

More importantly, where the hell is MY body!?

“Yesterday? You seriously don’t remember?”

“No…”

“Well…” Nate pondered at the memory. “If I remember, you and Mrs Mortician went somewhere in the woods. Delilah was there too. I think a fight broke out between Delilah and Mortician - Jun didn’t tell me anything else aside from the fact Delilah lost her footing and ended up blowing all three of you into practically ashes...”

“...Of course, when an explosion went off, Malefica immediately went to get you guys… Actually, it happened pretty early, so the explosion woke me up! It was REALLY loud! Shane was also awake -- he started crying when someone told him Mrs Mortician was in an accident...”

“...Volter had to calm him down. It was a pretty lethal explosion, we weren't allowed to see the damage, which made him cry even more...So I’m really glad Malefica rescued you guys in time! Who knows what could've happened? This dimension keeps messing with our bodies so it’s totally liable that you could… you know...die.”

Corvus was speechless as Nate babbled on.

Delilah…! Of course. That brat would try to attack me unguarded at any given moment!

Her mind practically fumed at the thought of letting Delilah one-up her.

So her little fuck-up caused this? Goddammit!!

What gave Delilah the right to switch her lovely body around!?

“B-but you’re safe now!” Nate quickly added, noticing the look on her face. “So, don’t worry about it. I’m sure the others are doing fine as well.”

“Where is…I-Mortician? Delilah?”

Corvus suppressed the urge to yell out ‘Delacroix!’ and deck Delilah in the face - she was, after all, not currently in her body. Any surprising movement would just cause additional drama, something Corvus had enough of.

“Mrs Mortician… her wounds heal really quickly! She’s resting in her room. As for Delilah… well, I have no clue. I think Mike carted off her unconscious body to a protective ward. Just in case, you know, she blows her lid. Literally. ”

Corvus could feel her thoughts brimming with anger.

Wherever she is...I hope that brat doesn’t have my body.

“Okay, well… could you bring her in here for me? Thanks.”

Or I seriously will cut a bitch.

“Ugh, my boobs are fucking killing me…”

Delilah mumbled as she cracked open her eyes.

From what little she could remember - she had spent the night, like many others, completely wasted from her usual drinking. Though, this time, Delilah felt herself experiencing a more intense headache. So intense that Delilah woke up, only to find herself drenched in sweat.

“Gross!” she shrieked, wiping away at her arms. “Jeez, how much did I--OWCH!”

Delilah gave another yell - an accidental swipe of her manicured hand left a huge red mark on her arm.

“What the fuck…?!”

Delilah didn’t flinch at the bruise appearing, but she did a double take when she realized her hands looked completely different. Normally, her hands were trimmed short - it was convenient for a numerous amount of purposes that suited Delilah - she would never grow them out. Let alone take the time to paint and polish them.

But when she looked at them, there they were. A clean set of coffin-shaped long black nails.

“What? Ew, when did I get these done?”

As she examined the nails, Delilah then realized something very important.

Her breasts were humongous.

“HOLY FUCK!” Delilah screamed. “WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?”

Excited by the seemingly overnight development, Delilah hopped out of her bed and immediately went to ogle at her newest assets in the mirror. Though, when she took at a gander in the mirror, the reality was far less appealing.

Somehow, Delilah wasn’t Delilah.

Instead, Delilah was in Corvus’ - her sworn enemy - body.

“NO! NO! NO!” She shrieked. Her sudden joy soured into pure horror. “WHAT IS THIS? WHAT IS THIS?!”

Trying to wrap her head around her predicament, Delilah took a step back. And then a step forward. And then three steps to the side. Followed by four steps to the center.

By the end of her little frenzied dance, Delilah still couldn’t come to terms with what was happening. Or well, what had already happened.

How? She thought. How on earth did this happen? What the hell??

She tried to recall her memories - to no avail, Delilah couldn’t remember anything aside from a vague image. It resembled something like a forest, but that was all Delilah could make out before a sudden rapt at the door interrupted her thoughts.

“Uhh, hello?” Delilah called out. Just speaking annoyed her, as the voice resembled Corvus too much. Well, technically speaking, it was Corvus’ voice, but Delilah had no time to fret over the technicalities.

“Babe!” A voice from outside the door called out. “Are you awake? Can I come in?”

There was a pause as Delilah mentally racked her brain, trying to suss out the source of the voice.

After a pregnant moment, she decided there was no harm in asking.

“W-who is it?”

The other voice laughed.

“Duh! Your one and only!”

The fuck is a one and only? Answer my question, bitch!!

“Alright,” the voice spoke out. “I’m not hearing an answer, so I’m just gonna come in anyways!”

“What? N-”

Suddenly, the room door swung open, revealing yet another Dickcissel resident Delilah wasn’t too keen on - Shane Boulud. Also known as Shane Mortician. Also known as Corvus’ husband.

Delilah refrained from screaming when Shane swooped in, trying to give her a kiss.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa!” She jumped back, guarding herself. “Back off, pretty boy!”

Shane blinked in surprise.

“What? Is something wrong, babe?”

Delilah also refrained from strangling Shane for calling her ‘babe’. It may have been Corvus’ pet name, but it was Delilah’s pet peeve. Especially when it came from strange men. Which was exactly how she saw Shane. Not even his flaxen hair or cerulean eyes could sway her over.

“N-no… I’m totally fine.”

Shane exhaled.

“Thank goodness!” He chimed. “I was worried that yesterday’s incident injured you! I was like, so close to tears! Not that I cried though!!”

“Yesterday’s…incident…?”

“Yes! After all, that brute named Delilah tried to kill you! I was so scared I wasn't gonna see you again, you know!”

As Shane sniffed, the memory triggering his emotions, Delilah replayed his statement in her head.

Wait a fucking second.

Brute? ME?

“THE HELLS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN!?” She couldn’t stop herself from yelling.

“Well, you know…” Shane replied, unfazed by her outburst. “If Delilah didn’t attack you in the woods - you wouldn’t be injured!”

“I...attacked Corvus?”

“What? No, Corvy! Jeez, that attack must’ve hit your brain. I said DELILAH attacked YOU.”

“That’s what I… Nevermind.” Delilah was about to retort - but quickly refrained. She remembered that she was in Corvus’ body, so she couldn’t be defending herself. It would be quite strange, though nobody seemed to even noticed how different Corvus was acting. Not even her husband, ever the oblivious.

Shane laughed.

“You’re probably starving, right?”

From seemingly nowhere, Shane whipped out a picnic basket, stuffed to the brim. It was closed, though Delilah could make out it’s distinct smell. Twas lasagna.

“Ta-da! Lasagna! Your FAVOURITE!”

Before she could say anything, Shane shoved the basket into her arms. She quickly realized two things:

Corvus was very tall. So tall that Shane seemed midget-like when he came up to her.

The basket was leaking lasagna. All over Delilah. [Well, Corvus]

“Eat up! Anyway, I gotta go… Midnight calls!”

“EW!” Delilah shrieked, tossing the basket aside. “Shane! You---”

Delilah was about to let him have it - though, by the time she realized, Shane had already left, leaving nothing but the room door open.

She groaned as she put her head in her sopping-wet hands.

This day could not get any worse.

“Um, Mrs Mortician?”

Delilah looked up - peering from the door frame was Nate. Delilah’s good friend. Well, sort of. He was really the friend of her friend, Jun, but ‘good friend’ was easier to say. And made her sound like she could get along with anyone.

“Nate? What are you doing here?”

Her green eyes met Nate’s teal ones as he struggled to speak.

“Well, I… I came to tell you that Xavier is asking for you…”

“Xavier?” She wrinkled her nose. Another one of Jun’s friends. He was respectful, and she talked to him at times, but came to the conclusion that they could never get along, after seeing him befriending Corvus. “What does he want?”

Nate shrugged.

“He didn’t tell me. But he is asking for you. I think he wants to talk about yesterday?”

“Yesterday?”

The image of the forest popped up in Delilah’s mind again.

Does Xavier know what happened?

Could he bring me back to my original self?

She could feel excitement rising at the mere thought - staying in Corvus’ body, even for a short while, was driving her insane. The quicker she got rid of it, the better.

“Alright,” she said. “Take me to him.”

NUMBER FIVE: I haven’t written this one yet, but it was basically Corvus in some sort of Alice-In-Wonderland situation with the crossover characters, though they were divided between good vs evil and Corvus had to end the feud because plot reasons.

Also everyone was some sort of fantasy creature, like a vampire or a fairy

Basis of the claim - the original complaint mentioned the 1983 - due process and equal protection claims. I also plead a rico charge under a civil liability theory. In order to make this thing happen, the defs have recruited participants with the promise of a job, a promotion, overtime hours, or other such inducements. Conversely, those refusing to participate, or those that had been involved, but had decided to stop or speak out against the defs, have faced penalties in wages, hours etc. In particular, in order for this to continue, defs have directed these specific retaliatory measures toward witnesses for the government, the plaintiff, me, as well as those that might even consider such a position. The evidence for this is without question. These individuals have faced tangible losses in income, threatened with long term unemployment in their chosen field and have also endured significant social and peer pressure as well. Those defs that are employed in intelligence, either as analysts or within collection or any number of different technical specialties, were pressured to participate in, what was knowingly illegal activity, fucking with me, ie. identity theft, aggravated battery etc. They were forced to use gov authority to fuck with me. The defs witheld hiring people that wouldnt participate. This could itself form another rico type allegation under a theft of services legal theory. Its not all fun and games. Its misuse of gov legal authority. It specifically benefits the defs in that it is also a demonstration of power. As such, it can be used to recruit in the future and prevent opposition on any number of different fronts. The misuse of authority, in my case, gets them more power. Sheriff disbanding DIRT, warrant teams

Sangamon County deputies whose primary roles involve rooting out drugs and searching for fugitives are being reassigned to patrol duty as the sheriff’s office struggles to plug a budget shortfall.

Sheriff Neil Williamson said Wednesday that, while he hopes the teams can be reformed in the future, it is unclear when that might happen. Next year’s budget already “is looking grim also,” he said.

Five deputies are affected by the change.

*Jason Boesdorfer and

Kenny Karhliker

make up the sheriff’s Drug Investigative Response Team,

while deputies

Matt Lorton and

Jim Tapscott,

the sheriff’s warrant team, are on loan to the U.S.

Marshals’ fugitive task force.

All five will be back on the street effective July 20.

The sheriff’s office previously disbanded its crime prevention unit as part of its budget-cutting efforts. Williamson said he was asked to trim $850,000 from his budget because of the county’s “severe financial constraints.”

He called the warrant and drug teams “two of the most successful units we’ve had” and said disbanding them was one of the hardest decisions he’s had to make in his 15 years as sheriff. However, Williamson said, he is doing everything possible to avoid layoffs.

He also expressed concern that crime could escalate as a result of the cuts. The office will have to react more to crime now, rather than being able to take preventive steps.

“We are getting back to the basics of what a sheriff’s department is supposed to do,” he said.

The sheriff’s warrant team was formed in July 2000 and supplied two deputies to the U.S. Marshals’ fugitive task force. Since the warrant team was formed, more than 4,900 fugitives have been captured, Williamson said.

The team’s disbanding means the sheriff’s office no longer will have representatives on the fugitive task force.

The DIRT team was formed in July 2004 in response to what was at the time a growing methamphetamine problem in Sangamon County. The team made numerous meth-related arrests in its first two years, which Williamson said drastically curbed the local meth industry.

The DIRT team has made about 1,700 drug-related arrests since its inception.

I’m in san diego and Johnny comes out to san diego, where I find out he’s buying and selling cocaine. I tell him to stop and he ignores me. He gets busted. He goes to jail. I’ve been staying at kennedy house and working day labor after the last election when Johnny says he getting out on probation but he needs a California address before they let him out on probation. I don’t have near enough to get my own place and Johnny says I can use his account, which had, I think, a little less than two thousand dollars in it. I find the place on broadway, in the gaslamp, very cheap. By the time I pay first and last months rent and security deposit, I’ve taken out all but a couple hundred dollars. He’s pretty upset about this at the time. Anyway, I think the whole putting me in san diego with Johnny thing and then him getting busted in san diego while I’m there and then me needing a place for him was pre-planned. Somebody knew I would have to use johnny’s account to get a place and that this could be used to justify harassment by scso back in springfield. Even with that as an excuse, the officers on the DIRT squad still went way beyond the scope of their authority in using vehicle exhaust to prevent sleep and cause pain and were involved in getting pedophilia frame arranged.

In 2017, there were 41,344, incidents in Sangamon County where deputies either initiated a law enforcement service or were dispatched to a call.

There was a lot of movement in the operations division in 2017. In April, Will Brooks, Jordan Cox, and Ryan Kuntzi were hired as a Sangamon County Deputies. Deputy Brooks began the Field Training Program immediately due to prior law enforcement training, and Deputies Cox and Kuntzi began the Illinois State Police Recruit Class. Sergeant Andy Danes was transferred from second shift to the Investigations Division in August. Detective Nancy Finley was promoted to Sergeant and transferred to second shift. Deputy Travis Dalby was transferred from second shift to Crime Prevention in March. Deputy Andrew Brashear was transferred from first shift to the Investigations Division in November.

In June, Deputy Knox retired after 25 years of service. His humor and kindness will be missed.

Taylorville man launches run for state House seat

TAYLORVILLE -A 26-year-old Taylorville resident announced his bid for the state House of Representatives seat occupied by Democrat Rep. Gary Hannig of Benld. Rodney Davis , a Republican, is a Taylorville High School and Millikin University graduate. He said he wants to build careers in the 98th District -not just jobs. He plans on doing so by being a leader where there has been a “fundamental lack of leadership.” Davis noted that communities in the 98th District -which includes all or parts of Christian, Macoupin, Madison Montgomery and Shelby counties -have suffered economically. “I will work to put together a jobs and employment program: an economic development plan which will work to retain, as well as attract, businesses and economic growth, which our area needs to prosper,” he said. One of Davis’ top priorities, he said, is to advance Project 29. He said he is familiar with the death and destruction that has occurred on Illinois 29, a highway he drives every day to his job at the Secretary of State’s Office in Springfield. “I want to make sure the funding comes along for the next phases in a more timely manner,” he said. “I think there’s more bureaucracy going on than needs to be. “Being a part of the bureaucracy in Springfield has given me a bird’s eye view of what kinds of waste occur there,” Davis said. “We need leadership to fight it.” Davis has been a Republican precinct committeeman in Taylorville since 1991.

He served as regional director of the

Illinois Young Republicans

and now serves as the group’s statewide secretary.

His wife, Shannon, also is a longtime Taylorville resident.

Soon-to-be U.S. Rep. JOHN SHIMKUS' office staff is getting much of its manpower from a couple of sources -- Secretary of State GEORGE RYAN's office and the recent legislative campaign of RODNEY DAVIS . Shimkus, R-Collinsville, who will be sworn in Tuesday to a two-year term representing the 20th Congressional District, earlier named two ex-Ryan staffers -- CRAIG ROBERTS and BRAD CARLSON -- to be his Washington, D.C.-based chief of staff and Springfield-based deputy chief of staff, respectively. Roberts was campaign chairman for DAVIS, a Taylorville resident who lost to Democrat GARY HANNIG, D-Litchfield, in the 98th House District in November.

Davis himself will become the Springfield-based personnel director for Shimkus. His job will also include handling the office budget and doing constituent work, Roberts said. Davis' campaign manager was MATT JOHNSON, 24, of Springfield, who is leaving his job on Ryan's program staff to become a junior legislative assistant in Shimkus' Washington office. He's also the son of

BARRY JOHNSON, lobbyist for the Illinois Lumber & Material Dealers Association. Shimkus' Illinois press aide will be STEVE TOMASZEWSKI of Nashville, the Washington County GOP chairman, who has been working as an auditor for Ryan. Tomaszewski generally oversaw Shimkus campaign operations in Washington, Marion, Jefferson and Clinton counties, Roberts said, and his family owns the Nashville Times newspaper. Davis, Johnson and Tomaszewski will all make salaries in the mid-$30,000s, Roberts said. The Springfield office should be open within days at Sixth and Madison streets, Roberts said. Also working there will be MARY ELLEN MADONIA, 26, who was finance director for the Shimkus campaign. She'll become as a $33,000 district aide. "I took a big risk in working for John, but I believed in him," said Madonia, who left a Sangamon County job to join the campaign. "I'm just fortunate that the voters felt the same way." CHERYL CRATE, who has worked in Washington for U.S. Rep. TOM COBURN, R-Okla., will be Shimkus' legislative director, bringing with her experience on the staff of the Commerce Committee, where Shimkus will serve; and

DAN BLANKENBURG, who has been a junior legislative assistant to U.S. Rep. TOM EWING, R-Pontiac, will be a senior legislative assistant for Shimkus. Shimkus, meanwhile, will no longer be Madison County treasurer after today, and he's feeling a bit nostalgic about his six years in county office. He said he was "pretty depressed" working in an almost empty office, and noted that six years was the longest he's ever stayed at the same job. "I'm excited about the opportunities ahead of me, but I've fought some good battles here," he said. hi! my name is noa, nonbinary latine boy. 18 yo & from brasil. im from a small country town in the south so u can guess: them be racist and homophobic

so ive asked for help times in the past when i was younger for my pets but the most recent one here where i talk about all the abuse ive suffered from my family and abt my rape and stuff but im Legal now meaning i can leave home! which is nice in itself but i hasnt been able to do it yet for multiple reasons:

i study full time morning and afternoon - not every day full day but its very randomly assigned meaning i cant even get a job in the morning bc every few days theres fuckin class so it ruins a possible work day basically - (veterinary medicine) and i have a scholarship meaning i need to do very well or i lose my scholarship

the only free period is night, meaning id only be able to do waiter work but ^ need to study plus im VERY visibly trans & gay. people dont like that.

i cant work using languages - and ive tried getting a job like this believe me ive been trying since i was 14 - because i havent traveled abroad and dont have like an official degree so places wont hire me to teach/work as a translator (plus, im visibly lgbt+ so no one will hire me anyway)

im really willing to work as an artist which is what im going to try to do!!! im setting up first like buttons/badges/pins (every single website i google calls it a different thing in eng) but imma do stickers and keychans too.

like i gotta leave home bc: my parents are super abusive (talk about it in the link above), im having to see my rapist around, my parents dont believe i was raped, they dont respect or protect me and my gender identity (like they said they believed me and respected me but they dont lol they are liars). my mom is pretty much narcissistic and my psychiatrist has basically said she has stupid bitch disorder so like im not making this up. my dad is like a mat and never does shit. this all is suuuuuper bad for my self esteem, mental health, they arent good for my pets, hurt them...

like first i wanna have at least some income so i kno i can AT LEAST pay rent and utilities and provide for my animals. my meds and doctor and like food come in second nd stuff. i cant do ht or top surgery rn anyway so as much that upsets me, i have other priorities aka staying alive.
