STOP right there you need to know something
In Chinese, Lyney and Lynette have matching character descriptions
Lyney's says 「镜中捧花,赠予何人」 while Lynette's says 「水中窥月,洞见夜明」 .
Look at the first half of each:
镜中捧花 (Lyney)
The flower bouquet in the mirror
水中窥月 (Lynette)
The moon spied in the water
It's literally almost word-for-word with 「水中月,镜中花」 , a phrase from the song 枉凝眉 Vain Longing.
(The only difference is the additions of 捧 bouquet and 窺 spy, which are more or less unnecessary.)
The full lyric from Vain Longing is as follows:
一个是水中月,一个是镜中花
One is the moon's reflection in the water, one is the flower in the mirror
And fittingly, its meaning is...
“It's all an illusion.”

Can't stop thinking about the fact that Wriothesley is a former underground boxer.
Was it... legal? Did he do it for money? For the thrill? He's called a "Duke" now, but it's unclear if that was a title awarded for his ascension to the head of the Fortress of Meropide (like the monarch "knighting" outstanding people (Sir Patrick Stuart for example)). It's perfectly likely that he had a humble start in life.
The livestream also confirms that Wriothesley is a somewhat recent addition to Meropide, so I'd say he's only had this role for a few years at most. Does that mean he was boxing up until recently too?
Wriothesley is covered in scars (there's a huge one on his neck)... Is that from his past? Did someone pull a knife out in a fight, or was he attacked afterward from some disgruntled opponent?
If this was an illegal practice, he could have been set up to lose a fight and refused, then attacked by whatever mob bosses he fucked over.
Idk. I enjoy the idea that in his younger years he wasn't quite so upstanding - I have this image in my mind of little twenty-something Wriothesley getting caught when the underground fighting ring got taken down. Everyone's put on trial but really Neuvillette & the courts care about the organisers, not the fighters that got caught in the crossfire. And Wriothesley is all freshly scarred and clearly not guilty of all the financial crimes going on behind the scenes.
Obviously there's some class disparity in Fontaine. Wriothesley has that voiceline "don't break the law... seriously" but he also reformed Meropide and treats the reasonable inmates as equals. Imagine if that came from his history, seeing his peers be punished for actions that society forced them into. And maybe Wriothesley got off lightly, but he'd be able to empathise with all the people who didn't.
And there's that official art of Wriothesley and Neuvillette in the office together, which obviously doesn't confirm that they have met (yoimiya & Kaeya art lol), but they almost certainly have. So I wonder if it was that near miss with a guilty verdict that put Wriothesley on Neuvillette's radar. Neuvillette is caring, so maybe he took steps to help the people who got caught up in the fighting, including Wriothesley. And it's those connections that later allow Wriothesley to take a position in Meropide, making the reformations that treat those who are guilty more fairly.
Anyway yeah. Wriothesley.

Charlotte: (persistent) A proper court session in the High Court hasn't taken place since last week and crime has actually gone up in the recent months as well. Could you provide any insight on this or what the cause could be?
Neuvillette: (resigned) No comment.
Charlotte: (continues) Are you aware of the multiple 'quests' that Your Honor has given the Traveler of simply perusing the city and doing things that typical couples do?
Neuvillette: (more tired) No comment.
Charlotte: Wait, Chief Justice just a question if you please! (notepad at the ready) Is it true that Your Honor seems to have - and I quote - "some select, but pointed affections" for the Traveler?
Neuvillette: (tired) No comment.
Charlotte: It's been speculated and stated by other officials that Your Honor has been reported to - and I quote again - "have a thing for being shamed in public". Can you confirm or deny this claim?
Neuvillette: (lethargically) Mademoiselle Charlotte, I will have to ask you to take your questions to the channels you know well can take them. I offer no comments on this matter or anything similar to it. (while dying internally) (Well, that's a new one.)
The next day . . .
"The Silence of the High Court As Well As the Cessation Of Its Activities Continue In The Midst of A New Romance!"
Neuvillette: Your Honor, have you read the paper recently?
Focalors: (dismissively) Oh please, Neuvillette you know I don't read the papers anymore. They've gotten too stale. (pauses) Say, do you think she would like the amusement park more or a local music show instead?
Neuvillette: (sighs) And I will assume you won't pay even though you very much can yourself?
Focalors: (slight blush) Well, she ought to be honored that I would even consider her worthy of paying for my entertainment!
Neuvillette: (to himself) (She just wants to hear her verbally slander her for being a 'broke-ass Archon' in public again, doesn't she.)
Focalors: Besides, I wouldn't just let anyone take me out for a day of fun!
Neuvillette: At least the newspapers won't be running dry anytime soon, then.
Focalors: Whatever do you mean by that?
Neuvillette: (reads the headline out loud)
Focalors: I-
Neuvillette: Will not have them beheaded for reporting the truth, Your Honor.
Focalors: (crosses her arms, quite red) Hmph! Who would believe such drivel?
Neuvillette: Respectfully Your Honor, anyone with eyes.
(Neuvillette is so, so tired of this. Also, somewhere, Lumine is getting a migraine.)
Somewhere in the Court of Fontaine:
Lumine: "Fine, I'll bite. What am I being arrested for this time?"
Focalors: "You're the prime suspect in... Clorinde, what's a case that's happening soon?"
Clorinde, deadpan: "Blanc vs Fontaine, tax fraud."
Focalors: "You're a prime suspect in Mr Blanc's tax fraud!"
Clorinde: "Ms."
Focalors: "As I said!"
Lumine: "You know you can just say, hi Lumine, are you free?, want to hang out?"
Focalors: "Do not impinge upon the dignity of the Court!"
---
Focalors: "Okay, so there's this blonde, right? And I've attempted to behead her five times but she still won't sit on my face. What am I doing wrong?"
Arlecchino: "Wtf. You called a diplomatic meeting for this?"
Childe: "Have you tried a duel instead?"
