Even if you disagree with my comparisons of the medias, if you have never watched it (or maybe you’d rewatch in) subtitled in original Japanese version in full, I highly suggest you give all of Adventure, 02, and even later medias a chance, with an open mind. The commonalities in the story themes may end up surprising you, even if you thought you knew everything! (This post can also serve as a mini-personal Analysis post)

I adore the fact that Michael Distortion is described as having a horrible laugh that sounds like a headache etc etc and then Michael Shelley shows up and turns out he's just always laughed like that. Jon and Co. were just bullying this poor man for his natural laugh this whole time

Digimon Ghost Game ~ Episode 32 ~ Scenery as Framing / {Continuation} Lore-dropping relevancy + Framings & Parallels?

featuring CHARACTERS/DUO: Gammamon + Meicoomons’ forms involvement

Notes: - This Meicoomon speaks sounding like a male voice actor is voicing it, but sounding decidedly different from Tri’s / Meiko’s Meicoomon. - “Ore”/“Omae” (informal) used as its speech patterns. (“Ore” can often be used in more masculine-leaning ways) - regardless it speaks somewhat “politely”/sympathetic-like to Gammamon. - It is referring to the Digimon that is showcased in Ghost Game Ep #32 (And nothing else, including Adventure Chosen, are mentioned) - This appearance does not mean a Tri sequel is “confirmed”, however, it’s interesting that it’s appearing in animation again! - My analysis of the role of the sky {+Distortions}/[“Yugami” since 02] [Note: Link contains some spoilers post Tri!] in animated framing since Tri specifically, feels quite relevant here. (The scenery in the first gif feels very similar to consistent Tri animation.)

So I can actually SEE where I'm going now when I need to. Shanes' Mon: (It's like you've 'accomodated' yourself.) SHANE: ... (M aybe.) Shane: At the same time, the colors sometimes give me a headache. But Koushiro-san did add in an option that can dim them... but then it's harder to see the signals for "distortions". Shanes' Mon: (But at least, you can still somewhat tell them apart based on the vividness.) Shane: ... (Yeah...) Shane: ... Well, I'm up now, so... Shanes' Mon: (Where are you going from here?)
