edit: shoutout to everyone adding book series that have gotta be before my time because i have never heard of most of them!! you rock😼
dork diaries: you own like 50 empty notebooks because you were waiting for your life to be interesting enough to keep a diary
diary of a wimpy kid: you definitely also watched regular show and played rated M games when you were like 9 (or had a sibling who did). the stoner of elementary school
bearenstien bears: ex-die hard christian/catholic
i survived: during literally any school drill, you hoped the real thing would happen
fancy nancy: she annoyed you so much that you became a tomboy
captain underpants: you have adhd. like seriously this book series was the first to bring up adhd by name and explain it
the minecraft handbooks: you liked mlg memes and were arguably the coolest kid out there
raina telgemeier: you're probably reallu cool rn. like genuinely
goosebumps: you were a huge edgelord in middle school and you played at least one fnaf game

genuine question to a dog expert: is it just me, or do the berenstain dogs not look like dogs at all? they look more like a vague approximation of a cartoon animal. like those ears are just weirdly shaped and placed and i simply Do Not Like Them
I definitely see what you mean about the ears, they're in the wrong place entirely. The noses aren't very dog-like either. I'm not confident that I would know they're supposed to be dogs if I wasn't already familiar with them.

for anyone who needs this, treehouse TV (who created most nick jr. + pbs programming from the mid to late 2000s) has most of their shows in YouTube for free :)

OP made the original post unrebloggable, but I just wanted to say that according to Wikipedia; brother bear is ten years old, which means that mama bear gave birth to him when she was seventeen.

"Do It Yourself," by Stanley and Janice Berenstain. Mid-century DIY gags, complete with wood paneling.
Before they created the Berenstain Bears, Stan and Jan Berenstain created a series of family-centered comics for McCall's Magazine.
These strips originally appeared in the mid-50s. They were collected in 1963 in IT'S ALL IN THE FAMILY.

The Berenstain Bears (2003)
Propaganda Below
No propaganda sent in
Google: "Based on the popular children's book series, "The Berenstain Bears" features Mama and Papa Bear as they raise their two cubs (and later in the series, a puppy named Little Lady) in the beautiful countryside community of Bear Country. Many neighbors are furry friends that join in on life's lessons for the sibling cubs. Brother Bear loves soccer and dinosaurs, and Sister Bear loves to jump-rope. Together, they learn about family roles and relationships. The animated series aims to teach kids life lessons."

It's so insane to me that so many Christmas movies and specials have families hunting for a tree days or hours before the holiday. Or waiting until the last minute to decorate it.
As if the stores haven't been selling Christmas decor since mid-October.
Is this a common thing I'm unaware of? Growing up, we always put our tree up on Thanksgiving, or if we were getting a real tree, we'd go out the day after Thanksgiving to get. You can't leave it up long, why wait until the last minute?
All this last minute stuff gives me anxiety.
