so i left a passport (not mine) at my parents' place and asked them to deliver it to me so i can hand it over to the owner. and they did. but they also packed a hamburger for me among other snacks as a little bonus and i appreciate them but. but. for some god forsaken reason, they put the hamburger in the same bag as the passport, which unfortunately has given the passport a strong hamburger smell.

the passport is american. you cant make thjs shit up. the american passport smells like hamburger. fucking hell.

OK OK SO, so far i have built already how they come to be and all, I'm just working on how life will be like after totk (dont have the game yet, but friends do so imma be asking for sum help)

But so far, we have 2 kids! Both of them are girls, 3 years apart. Older sister is named Sonia (yes in honor of Queen Sonia herself), and the youngest is named Adira

Sonia is more like her dad, especially in terms of looks, but she had inherited her mother's eyes and thurst for answers. She's very energetic and adventurous, and likes helping others

She tends to be the guinea-pig to alot of her sister's projects and creations since she has almost no self preservation. She enjoys it tho, thinking it as a fun activity to try out new things and hang out with her sister. She also enjoys carving things, mainly toys and masks. Most of her sister's toys were made by her when they were around 11 and 8

Although she is usually quite the airhead, and not really the brightest (like her dad, cough-), she definitely inherited her mother's overthinker mind. Doesn't help that she also tends to think little of herself, being the firstborn of the Princess and Hero themselves, alot of people put her under alot of high expectations and although her parents tried their best to show she didn't have to prove her worth, the gossip around town was hard to ignore, doesn't help the fact that her sister has started to become a prodigy to her mom, creating inventions to help hyrule and planning to bring the royal system back when she's old enough

Sonia though, has no intention of bringing the royal life back, nor to continue it. Like her dad she wants to explore, she's fascinated by history and wants to disvover every small relic left unseen. And she wants to travel beyond Hyrule one day as well and help those she comes across her path. But also perhaps, escape the duties and expectations others put on top of her, and perhaps prove herself better then those expectations

She loves her sister tho, despite everything, and will never admit to her how jelouse she actually is of Adira. How jealous she was of Adira of being able to hang out with their mom so much, have so much in common with her, sometimes she wonders if she has anything from her mom other then her eyes

Adira is alot like her mother, especially in the looks department, but she has her father's eyes and thurst for chaos. She's usually quiet, but very sassy when needs be, and although seeming quite shy, she got quite the temperament and wont hold back her tounge

Like mentioned previously she becoms a prodigy to her mom, creating and getting invested on inventions to help hyrule and planning to bring the royal system back when she's old enough. She spends most of her time studying and working on anything technology finding it fun to see what possible outcomes it came give

Although sometimes the pressure is too much, as much as her parents give her the liberty to explore her interests, as she had started to show advancements in her creations and helping hyrule, as well as proclaiming to bring back the kingdom (even tho she was a child when she said that), all eyes were now set on her and she is terrified of any failure, and to disappoint everyone, she usually confides on her sister who never cared of her status and just liked to be around her for her (and well, she felt too embarrassed about it to tell her parents about it, they didn't need to worry about such simple things in her eyes, they already fought the townsfolk so much bc of that, she didn't want to make them dislike her parents bc of her)

She admires her sister alot, looks up to her and wishes she could be as cool as her, as free as her, but she isn't good in any sort of physical activities and is usually just stuck in the lab. And that causes a smidge of jealousy as Sonia is able to bond more with their dad then Adira ever could, she feels like she has nothing in common to her dad other then his eyes and need for chaos (which the second part was something looked down apon by others)

And those are the basics i have so far, there is more but I'm unsure about it for now, and aren't 100% concrete yet, so i wont share at the moment

But before i end this, here are some small fun facts:

Both Sonia and Adira are pure glutons, just like their dad XD. They have cooking sessions together quite often, helping around the kitchen when they can;

Sonia loves horses as much as her dad does, but she is terrified of riding them, because when she was little and riding one for the first time, the person who set settle on didn't do it properly and she fell, head first into a rocky ground, and to add onto it, the horse stepped right onto her pinky. Now she has small panic attacks trying to ride them

Sonia actually used to hate Adira. Since Adira was a rainbow baby, Zelda and Link did kinda get overprotective with her, and accidentally neglected Sonia. That didn't last long after Sonia did cause a whole scene with running away and almost getting killed- but that's likez a whole other story in itself lol (i might make a more detailed post about this later). But after that incident they were able to work things out and Sonia ended up being way more protective over Adira then her own parents

i’ll apologize in advance because you’ll just have to take my word for it, but i promise it’s real and it can be found if you want to put in the work. matt talked on the podcast in i believe the summer of 2022 about how people have written a ton of fics about “me and ryan raping each other” (which is untrue, it’s really only about matt getting raped) and about 98 percent of that is because of me and my friend love. later that year, in the beginning of october, my friends apollo and love reported that matt was posting on the site lpsg about his encounters with fanfiction about himself and ones that he read out of curiosity, specifying ones where he got fucked by a dog. i’m at fault for those ones. deductive reasoning concludes that he was reading my fanfiction and definitely love’s as well

it feels like you can hardly go a week or two without hearing yet another story of airlines failing disabled flyers.

most recently is the story of gabrielle assouline, who was not properly warned that the jet bridge to a southwest airline plane was inaccessible to her wheelchair, resulting in injury and paralysis.

staff was not adequately trained on how to provide assistance to wheelchair users, and failed to warn of obstacles on the jet bridge, even after her meticulous planning alongside the airline to ensure that all parts of her trip would be accessible.

it’s sad to say that i am hardly surprised by incidents like these in the news cycle. the airline industry has a long history with disabled passengers facing harassment, violation, and injury on their flights, and southwest airlines certainly does not deserve for this story to go unheard.

seeing tae traveling on his own (going to malta) made me realize how bad i am at traveling, nevertheless alone. i still dont understand the whole process ngl. i have horrible anxiety so even going thru checks makes me so nervous plus w/ how quick it goes and u gotta take all your stuff out and rush and its a mess so id probably forget my own bags if someone wasnt with me. u must've traveled a lot right, are u comfortable doing it on your own by now?

traveling alone is always going to be stressful, esp as an asian woman yknow? travel will always be a rush rush wait affair (unless ur hella rich) and murphys law will hit you at one point or other. however, research and preparedness will be your best friend, and the experience and sights you see will be worth it 🥰🥰🥰

im going to compile some tips after the cut if you need it:

i always keep a list of everything i need to pack, organized by: toiletries (if theyre in your carry-on, you need to make sure its within airline security regulations. creams count as liquids. BRING SUNSCREEN!), clothes, accessories, and shoes (make sure you have enough to change every day, plus 1-2 days extra. also make sure you have layers like a jacket/large scarf which can also be a blanket and COMFY shoes that has room for swollen feet. you can repeat clothes so you can pack light. check the weather! bring an umbrella!), electronics (AND THEIR CHARGERS! bring a socket/voltage exchange if its different from your country), medicine (check your destinations rules on drugs. DONT ASSUME), YOUR DOCUMENTATION (passport/photo ID, visas, vax records, emergency contacts, hotel/destination addresses. keep a hard copy of it away from where you store your OG docs, and keep pictures of your documentations in your phone), and itinerary (where are you staying? do you need travelers insurance? did you call your bank so you can access your cards at your destination? what is your budget? do you need to change currency? you should have emergency money for taxis and a night at the hotel IN CASH)

pack your things into your luggage and DONT TAKE THEM OUT. for last minute things, create a separate packing list for when you leave for the airport. if you are taking a carry-on, make sure it meets airline regulations. keep all of your documents and cash in a secure location AND DONT LET IT LEAVE YOUR BODY. if you need to bring small candies and snacks (like me, i get low blood sugar easily), make sure its packaged and processed. a lot of countries dont allow meats and vegetables and seeds/grains into the country. check customs and immigration. ditto for your meds and other controlled substances and liquids. when you cross immigrations and security, make sure your water bottle is EMPTY. there are water fountains and restaurants past security. if you have a big carryon, you can carry it past security, and if the airlines have space, they usually allow you to check large carryons for free at the boarding gate, you can keep an eye/ear our for that.

usually the airline attendant will stick your checked baggage tags onto your boarding pass as a reminder for you to pick it up, so dont throw away your boarding pass! stick in your passport pages for safe keeping. make sure to stand near the first half of the loop and put really identifiable ribbons/duct tape/buckets on your bags so someone else won't walk away w your stuff. (if youre in a country famous for sm*ggling dr*gs, make sure to plastic wrap your entire luggage, some big airports have this at the lobby before check in)you will not believe the variation of black/navy bags until youve been on the strip 🤣🤣🤣 DONT bring monogrammed luxury luggages w you. thats asking you to be mugged in broad daylight. use your knees and waist and core to lift your luggage out, OR if you look sad enough, usually someone will help you (not that ive had that happen to me....many times......)

look like you know what youre doing, even if you dont! if you look unsure, pickpocketers and bad actors will target you. THUS! always do your research first. be as accurate and specific as you can. learn some helpful language phrases if its a foreign country (i.e. where is..., direction words, thank you, please, could i have...). fake it til you make it fam 🥰🥰🥰 don't draw attention, and make sure you look out for arrows and signs to tell you where to go. remember to keep your hands on your possession at all time. if youre in places famous for pickpocketers, wear your backpack in your front.

dont be afraid to ask for help from airline staff/concierge/info desk. theyre usually really friendly and want to help you! so if youre lost and dont know where your boarding gate is, or you dont know which bus to take, or you don't understand the in flight menu or need extra pillows and blankets (ask early! right after the plane levels out is usually a good time to ask)

at your hotel, make sure to sweep for cams (under mirrors/smoke detectors/paintings/tv etc.), deadbolt your door, and close your curtains. dont let strangers into your room, even if they claim to be staff. be aware of your surroundings at all times, dont talk to strangers, keep your hands on your bags, stay in public spaces, stay safe!

tldr; research lots, pack light but right, keep your documents in order, stay in reputable places and public transport, be aware of your surroundings, and most importantly, HAVE FUN! godspeed darling 🥰🥰🥰

interestingly one of the types of aviation incidents that are becoming more, and not less common, are runway excursions (plane keeps rolling past the end of the runway either during takeoff or landing) and the videos i'm watching aren't getting into why (only into special awareness pilots should direct to this issue with takeoff/landing conditions) but i have my ideas

countries with more airports tend to be higher income countries -> densely populated -> ever more dire constrains on terrain around airports

#these incidents are usually less dangerous for airline passengers than for randoms in the vicinity of the airport though.
