I like the idea of a safety net for those who need it as much as anyone but it’s just not realistic for that to be available AND generous, you realize, if nobody’s paying in, and especially if many are receiving it

We really need, if we are to maintain social and economic resilience even through contracting population size, an economic system that rather makes it easy for individuals to save a large portion of their much higher real income to weather bad spots. The cost of living needs to be drastically lower than it is relative to income, so that you can be your own insurance, and that social security be reserved for people who genuinely never are in any condition to provide bc or themselves. Taxes and redistribution can’t achieve this and have already failed

Like all the focus on gender, sexuality, racial diversity, feminism, whatever, you gotta understand none of that is in any way relevant to the theory in communism, none of it was written at all time where companies had quotas and DEI policies or whatever, and neither would they be fond of the large scale immigration seen today, nor of its racial implications. You all just have headcanonized alternative facts as part of what you call communism. What it actually is is an economic and political analysis of labor and capital relations in a given country.

i was supposed to do an equipment test yesterday morning but the 5 million stars needed didn't align in time. i have (i think) managed to align them again to do the test on monday morning instead, with involvement from a manager (not mine) as well, but now another of the people i need says he won't be there but can have one person his team be there for it on monday, but he doesn't seem to know which of the two will be there, and hasn't answered my questions on it all afternoon. it has to be done monday morning and at 4pm on a friday im still hanging

so instead of having a person i trained on the protocol today, i'll have to arrive monday morning, train people in a rushed manner, ask for someone to print the specific controlled document version of the protocol for me (i don't have access), and prepare and execute the test probably late and badly, and be pissed about the whole thing
