@virgo-mess pointed out that Sea Wolf and High Adventure are both directed by the same person, so that's my pick for a double-feature. I haven't watched High Adventure yet, and only watched Sea Wolf once (and was like "...what?") so it'll be fun to watch something for the first time with y'all!

I was thinking of starting around 4pm (PST) again since that seemed to work out for more of you, but y'all pick the day!

It wasn’t 2 years.

They had known each other since they were kids and have loved each other for almost as long.

He couldn’t imagine then what they have now. He couldn’t see it yet. He hadn’t met this version of himself yet.  

What would it look like in 20 years? 50? It was weird to think of each other getting old and falling apart together. Wondering what their kids would look like. Imagining the house they grow old in.

These moments he knew would be but he just hadn’t met them yet.  

Taking care of one another. And all that shit.  

It wasn’t 2 years. It was a whole lifetime.

I love this whole "converting Rock into a combat robot" montage, its prolly one of my fave parts of the whole comic! From Dr. Light's monologue, testing out Mega Man's features, to the awesome art and spark effects done by Spaziante, It all comes together to make a grand 1st issue!

Didn't think you could fit the whole introduction of Mega Man in one issue, huh? xD Well, the first game's story was just that simple, though the narrative here takes a lot of inspiration from the Mega Man: Powered Up remake, right down to the Wily evil plan announcement. This comic's full of homages to moments from the games and remakes!

Did y'all realize that Jurassic world camp cretaceous hidden adventure and the first Jurassic park movie has a crazy bonding?

Maybe it's just crazy to me, but Sammy and Donald Gennaro say the exact same thing at one point, for the exact same reason as well!

When John Hammond shows Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm and Donald Gennaro around in that "ride" thing, sort of an "attraction" idk what to call it. They have these safety things on, right? And when the others push them off, Donald says "You can't do that. Can they do that?". And FUN FACT, that is exactly what Sammy says when the campers push those safety things up when they're about to climb down that ladder. She's like "You can't do that. Can they do that?" as well!

This is just something I realized last time I watched Jurassic park 1 (I'm rewatching it again right now, and remembered my discovery lol).

So yeah. I'm probably not the first one to notice that, but I just wanted to share it.
