Note to self - The fact that the Jedi getting initiates was closer to adoption/having a kid tonsured young/somewhat to modern Buddhist families giving up their kids to a temple than anything else doesn’t mean Anakin - who grew up as a slave where being taken away from your family was never consensual/beneficial to the child - would be 100% comfortable with idea for a very long time.
