Varadha is someone who has never wanted to control Deva. Even when he tries to give him direction, it is because he knows that if he doesn't, Deva will unerringly do something for Varadha that cannot be revoked.

and Deva stands in the shadow of Varadha's brilliance only because he chooses to. Otherwise, Varadha holds Deva in equal regard to himself, as if they share the same power – Varadha loves him unconditionally.

but what happens when Deva does something that breaks free from the only rule his God ever sets?

the devil throws himself from the heavens, fleeing the presence of his God, for he'd refused to accept that humanity could come anywhere within reach of the greatness that his God, and by extent, God's angels held.

and we know – Deva would choose Varadha over anybody, seeing them as 'lesser' than Varadha is, regardless of whether Varadha himself requests for Deva to save someone else.

Fun fact: Villanelle is on bad terms with Hell because she got too close to the humans she was trying to get the souls of. Started seeing them as the people they were. Gained compassion for them. She betrayed the Brass Embassy, sabotaged a shipment of souls. Never looked back.

The daughter she lost to set off her ambition was adopted, a human.

Scripture says this about the devil: "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor," therefore, "[God has] cast you to the ground." The devil's pride corrupted his heart and the once-beautiful angel was cast down.

The apostle Paul lists pride as one of the attributes to disqualify someone from a leadership position in the church: "being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil."

In Proverbs 6:16-19, we are told that pride (the original Hebrew actually indicates it’s one who thinks highly of himself) is on top of the list of what God hates. It's the humble, not the proud, who finds favor with God (James 4:6).

Pride is about the mentality that puts oneself above others. It's all about "number one" as they say. That isn't the Christian way. In fact, we're told just the opposite. We're told in Philippians 2:3: "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves."

I like how Thomas Watson put it: “Pride is a spiritual drunkenness; it flies up like wine into the brain and intoxicates it. Pride is idolatry; a proud man is a self-worshipper.”

The mindset of a Christian is to let go of pride and ambition; humbly serve each other.

The world tries to sell pride as something good and to be celebrated, but it isn't. Just as we’ve read how it happened with the devil, pride will lead to your destruction. Pride only leads to a fall from grace.

Let go of your pride and humbly submit yourself to Jesus Christ and follow His Word.

Crash the Tasmanian Devil from the heavenly planet Pleasure Paradise

Crash the energetic, friendly, charismatic, fun-loving, eccentric, incredibly smart, laid-back, noble, wisecracking, encouraging, confident, easy-going, fearless and loyal Tasmanian Devil Furrie enjoys exploring all the islands on the heavenly planet Pleasure Paradise. He also has a passion for creating and painting nude portraits of not just his fellow inhabitants of Pleasure Paradise but every single monster from each planet or planetoid and asteroid from throughout the far-off distant galaxy known as Galaxceus such The Cosmomites from the planet Blastron. Crash first met his original creator Papa Bear (formerly Lachlan Ormerod) when he was reduced to homelessness after he was robbed of his private stash of Dragons Treasure aka Dragons Gold. While camping out for the night Crash expresses his desire for traveling to not just every island on Pleasure Paradise but visit every planet and planetoid or asteroid throughout Galaxceus and meet their friendly monsters, including the planet Starenger where the heroic Avenger Beasts reside in. Jodie sympathetically tells the despondent Tasmanian Devil that his dream will come true if he comes with them to Pig Island. Crash happily agreed. Upon finally arriving on Pig Island, however, a huge army of invading Dragon Soldiers from the dreaded planetoid Medievilonia come to storm The Castle of Heaven aka The Heavenly Castle to raid it of it's lost Dragons Gold. Bellowing with anger Crash joins in on the ensuing battle by punching out a couple of Dragon Soldiers unconscious. A very grateful Papa Bear provides Crash with a Tasmanian Devil Wand to teach him some magic. After concocting a Stupidity Spell on his Dragon enemies Papa Bear offers Crash an employment opportunity if helps build his farm, to which he gladly accepts. A short time later Crash works full-time at The Heavenly Castle as one of it's guards and a part-time job at Georgette's Ice Cream and Yoghurt Co Factory (The French Ice Cream Cow brought the farm after Papa Bear was unable to maintain financial security) as a security guard as well as the occasional delivery Devil alongside Papa Bear. When he is not working Crash loves either visiting The Nude Camp, The Nudist Spa or even one of The Nude Beaches to make clay statues of every monster all over Galaxceus. He spends the majority of his existence singing loudly to ''The Tasmanian Devil Necessities'' while shaking and occasionally bumping his butt against the trees🦘🐨🌴🏖️🛖🏝️🥥🍌

one of k'in's colours is gold. it shows that they are very valuable and worthy. or something, it has meaning but it doesn't mean much here.

so anyway, gold is a easily manipulated. Once it's pure it is easy to bend—to make what you want. So if we go down the route of Astra making K'in so obsessively in love with him; he dresses them in gold. Showcases their value to him but it also speaks about how easily they fell into his hands.

“Gold is a beautiful material. Noble in its composition and atoms, but sensitive to fire, bendable, manipulable. A material of value only for the one who can perceive it. Covet but not easy to work with either. Rare but common. Still precious.”
