Hi! I've recently become a fan of WoT after watching the series and I'm absolutely obsessed with Moiraine and Lan (platonic soulmates forever!) and I'm super appreciative of your awesome blog, your doing God's work, thank you🙏

Anyway, I was rewatching the series and I was just wondering, do we know how Nynaeve could actually track Moiraine and what she showed Lan? what is Moraine's tell? Was it ever hinted anywhere else?

I just came up with a headcanon that perhaps Moiraine unwantedly leaves hair strands on branches and that's how Lan could track her through the Blight in 1x08.

I'm not the most meticulous viewer (except for when it comes to Certain Scenes) so it's entirely possible that I missed some information about Nynaeve's tracking abilities somewhere. However, I fully accept your idea about Moiraine's strands of hair being her tell. Probably also her footprints, horse hoofprints (when she's on a horse), or even threads from her clothes? But especially hair. Yeah, I love that a lot.

Hiya Dara! Of course and I hope you enjoy 🥰!

30. Have you ever written something that was out of your comfort zone? If so, what was it, and how did it affect your approach to writing fic thereafter?

Actually I have! It was “Our What?”, “Promise”, “Promise Pt. II” and now an untitled fic for “COTF: World to Come” (i’ve done more but these just popped into my head) and what they all have in common is pregnancy and birth. For some reason, I can read it or read about it, but I can’t write/watch/be around it IRL 😅. So I wanted to try and push myself to see if I *could* write about that subject, and while it was hard, I managed to do it and they’ve actually become some of my favorite ones (especially “Promise”).

As for how I think it affected my writing, I think it affected the “research” part of my writing more 🤔. Used to I would only research a little bit, but now I research a whole lot to try and make them more “accurate” if I can 😁!

I find it interesting how when you take the other LIs routes (well I haven't done A's yet, but I'm assuming it's the same), D says "I think it'd be best if I stayed with you for a while". But then when you take D's route, they're like "Oh well it'd be best if I stayed, for yk Arsur's sake-" LMAO- It's as if their guard is up more when you're somehow closer? Very interesting detail! Both in their romance route as well as outside of that, D is dedicated their duties, but in their romance route the awareness they have of the chemistry between them and the Crown makes them explicitly draw that boundary out loud both as a reminder to themselves as well as for the Crown. In their non-romance scene, they're more straightforward/honest about it!

fun fact: my bestfriend has dated a steve before. Yes with the marvelous brown hair and marvelous face. He wasn't handsome like steve but, u get it.
