hellsing pokemon au !!

as promised, im going back to my usual hellsing shenanigans with some pokemon stuff. ive had this in my brain for months but have never gotten around to doing anything with it! my autistic ass has absorbed information about pokemon before i could have normal thought patterns, so hopefully my takes are at least a little satisfying. feel free to interact with ur own thoughts and suggestions!

i provided long explanations of each, but if you dont want to read all that just look at the pictures :P

long post ahead!

note: these aren't definitive teams, just me throwing around ideas. don't take this as the holy grail of headcanons or anything.

seras victoria

boltund would be her first pokemon i think, her main partner from before her work with the organization. togetic is here because idk im a togetic 4lifer and im a kinnie ? it just really made sense to me, just vibes, plus i think she really needed a flying type. may become a togekiss later, that would be cute. umbreon is pip's eevee that she evolved, and blastoise is a gift from walter. i think she needs more red pokemon to match her color palette and vampire vibes so ill probably add to this!

alucard

alucard needs a legendary of course, so darkrai. i think they would be good friends, they give the same "misunderstood tortured soul" vibes. houndoom to represent baskerville, noivern to fit the vampire/bat aesthetic.

and an important distinction:

i think girlycard should have a hisuian sneasel. they're the same critter. two ancient beings.

sir integra

im surprised with how much i struggled with this one. i feel like a fake fan. smh, anyways. sirfetch'd is perfect to me-even the unevolved farfetch'd is super fitting too-but i included the final form for this post. i wanted to stick with galar pokemon, but aegislash is literally a sword. cmon. stoutland is a recommendation from a friend that i 100% agree with. ive always associated her with the serperior line, so snivy was probably her starter. i think that'd be cute. im really open to suggestions on this one because i think she deserves more steel or normal types.

pip bernadotte

this is a big one! there were so many good options with pip... and i didnt even mean to color code it 😅 i wanted him to have an electric type to match seras (to add to the whole rivals-to-lovers aesthetic), so his main partner is raichu! it was between that or mudsdale, who i also really like (and is the only one on this team who cant be found in kalos, haha). i wanted him to have a bird (for the geese) so there's dodrio. scrafty and tauros just fit the vibe perfectly to me-they're sorta like honorable mentions. eevee is originally his but he eventually gives it to seras, who evolves it into umbreon. if pip would have kept it, i think it would have evolved into sylveon (the whole kalos thing).

walter c dornez

some interesting picks for walter. corvisquire is his main guy, his "angel of death", he's raised it from a rookidee since he was a kid. maybe it would evolve into corviknight when he becomes Dark Walter. not sure how that would work. i choose not to think about dark walter. bisharp is there for the steel typing vibes as well as the chess symbolism: it really hits right for me, with walter's arc being about how he's played as a "pawn", in a sort of way. also a nod to a very dear friend of mine who loves walter and the pawniard line respectively. :) now, why leavanny, you ask? it learns string shot, of course! also because id like to think he would raise a sewaddle in his old age to help him with things around the estate.

..aaand im out of room for images in the post! i'll make a part 2 with some bonus thoughts + the iscariot organization if i feel like it. bye for now!

halfway thru my first drivers ed session. idk if i can do this aftually lol

#purrs #there’s like 30+ ppl in the class and most of them are high schoolers who already have like at least 20-30 hrs and i have 3. also the #instructor is really nice and means well but she is also a little clueless and she embarrassed me in front of everyone (or maybe i #embarrassed myself) bc she had us all introduce ourselves and say what we like to do and i said play video games and she was like oh are you #a bit of a gamer 👀 have you been to any of those conventions. LIKE 💀😭 NO I JUST PLAY SILLY LITTLE PET GAMES…..#but ajyways um. i don’t have enough driving experience to start behind the wheel lessons yet 💀💀💀💀💀 and we r watching videos rn and it’s so s #scary like istill have such trouble even maneuvering the car around how am isupposed to develop situational awareness and be driving on high #hihways and shit. this is so overwhelming. it’s like ‘every moment ur behind the wheel u and the ppl around u are at risk’ well idont want t #to be at risk or risk others lives. but also i need to move out. help 💔💖#anyways this class has INSANELY long breaks (like 15+ mins thank god) and we might be able to end early every day too so. fingers crossed it #wont be that bad and i’ll actually retain stuff and learn to drive fucking finally. but im so scared #also on thursday we are watching a video depicting a graphic c*r cr*sh so. that’s just fucking great #drivers ed tag

Question: I'm right here! I was wondering if there's, like, a certain song or, like, band that inspired you guys to do what you do.

Frank: Man...

Tim: There's so many!

Frank: Yeah, it's a hard one. I feel like it's just like amalgamation of, like, you know, the experiences that you had or, like, the records that you love growing up. I remember like, early on, like, I wanted to write songs really, really bad, and so, like, my dad got me a guitar from his guitar player in his band. And, for the longest time, I was like, oh man, this is really hard. Like, I'm not gonna be able to figure this out... So, I would just put it on, stand in front of the mirror, and, like, listen to my favorite songs and pretend to play, and then, at some point, there was, like, a ceremony, had a graduation ceremony or some shit happening at my grammar school, and I had told my friend that I played guitar, because I, you know, I had a guitar and, I was like, yeah, I play guitar, and so that kid, like... When they came into, like, they're like, "Hey, we're gonna have an assembling, we need someone that plays guitar. Does anyone play guitar?", and my friend was like, "Oh, he plays guitar!" so, I had to learn it, and it was fucking awesome, like, I fucking... I was like, why didn't I do this sooner, this is crazy. I mean, really, it's probably a span of, like, three months, but it was such a feeling of, like, accomplishment, you know? And a confidence booster...

Anthony: Yeah.

Frank: And then, going to see like, you know, local shows of, like, kids that were my age putting on shows and, like, the bands that were like, my age. So it was like, fuck, man, I can do this. This is crazy! And yeah, and that was the big thing. It wasn't, like, a specific song or a specific like, you know, band. It was just the experience of knowing that you can accomplish something or do something like that.

Anthony: I remember it being, like, in 7th grade and watching Green Day, and, like, listening to Green Day and being like, I can do this, you know what I mean? And, like, watching them on MTV, because they, like, used to play that shit they would play... I remember this one concert that, like, watching them at, like, 7th grade, and watching them play this concert, and being like, fuck, this is like, that looks easy! Not easy, but like, it looks attainable, and like, being really inspired by Green Day at like, a weird time in my life. But, like, before I could go to, like, shows that myself and shit like that, I remember really loving that band and, like, watching them, I mean, like, learning how to play their songs by watching them on TV.

Tucker: For me, it was skateboarding. I remember, you know, all I did when I was a kid was skateboard, and I learned about, all of my music was through, like, Thrasher Magazine, watching skate videos and, like, loving that alternative culture, and then I convinced my mom, when I was 14, to drop me off in a really horrible fucking neighborhood in Trenton, New Jersey... City Gardens! To see The Bouncing Souls, and I was, like, the youngest person there, and...

Anthony: It's also a really bad place.

Tucker: ...by myself. It's fucking terrible. My mom's insane for doing that, but I just remember, like, being scared in the back, and just watching this, and being like, I'm terrified, but this is so cool that I just stuck with it... Bouncing Souls!

Frank: Yeah!

Anthony: It's one of my first shows too, swinging out to the Bouncing Souls and the Descendents.

Travis: Roll? Roll up! Uh, I do have actually a specific moment that I remember... My father was a songwriter, so there was guitars around all the time, and I grew up watching music with him, but I didn't really connect with it, like, I remember I was probably about nine, or ten... and my father had a lot of acoustic guitars around, and I saw the video for Patience by Guns and Roses, and I looked at his guitars, and I was like, "Oh, it's the same kind!", so I picked it up and, as far as I was concerned, in the next hour, I had fifteen songs. Like, it was just even going... That's a tune! But yeah, it's like, jerk out with your Bob Marley guitar!

Tucker: He's not the best.

Travis: No, no... But yeah, that was a moment, like, because, from then on, I just kept playing, and then I wanted the electric, and, for me, it really was just, also, a lot of being able to collaborate with friends, you know, I was in a lot of bands from very early on, and we would cover songs, and stuff like that, like, you know, we would... whether it be covering a Violent Femmes song, or a Misfits song or like, you know, just, it was about learning those songs and getting better that way.

Tim: Oh, now I have to...

Travis: Yeah, you gotta... You’re on the hot seat.

Tim: I remember me and my friend in elementary school would always just talk about starting a band, but neither of us even played an instrument, we'd just, like, pretend, and then, he decided that he wanted to play guitar, so I couldn't. And then, I remember actually getting Jane's Addiction's Ritual de lo Habitual, and just hearing the bass on that... Eric Avery is a huge, huge influence for me, and I was always just, like, too self-conscious to, just, do it, and then my mom just signed me up for bass lessons one day, because I never shut up about it, and then, I just sat in my room, and just, like, listened to everything from, you know, Jane's, Green Day, Operation Ivy... Anything! Fugazi... And just learned, learned literally every single baseline I could. And then, it wasn't really until Thursday started that I was actually in a band, it was something I always wanted to do, but that was the first time all the pieces, kind of, fell into place. But yeah, I mean, just, music in general, I think it was huge in all our lives from a really early age...

Tucker: Thank God you did, because you are the foundation of this entire band.

Travis: And, it's interesting that you mentioned Eric Avery, because that's always what I like, a lot of the songs, how they come about...

Anthony: Yeah, you definitely have that style.

Travis: I consider it to be a very Eric Avery, kind of... Not that you're biting the style...

Tim: No, I certainly do!

Anthony: No, but once you think about it makes sense, you know what I mean?

Travis: It's not so on the nose...

Tucker: And now that you can fly to his house, whenever you want... Freak.

Travis: I'll get there first, 'cause I could teleport.

Tim: I should have done that.

Anthony: And no one will see you, right?

Travis: I'd be straight invisible! I'll see what he's doing before he even knows he's doing it.

obligatory ' it's time to post laera's spell list! ' as an aside, laera is not bound by in game/table rules of EK's spellcasting. it doesn't make sense to me narratively given how much she loves spellcasting and eagerly wants to learn about it/magic. so, here we go!

laera started off having a very complicated relationship with magic. divine magic was forced on her to learn while she grew up in the abbey of blinding truth, and she grew to resent it. naturally, once she was free from the shackles of tyr's doctrine, as a sign of protest and reclaimation over herself, she dove into learning arcane magic. for reasons she can't explain, all of her spells take on a blue hue.

— you focus your study on magic that creates powerful elemental effects such as bitter cold, searing flame, rolling thunder, crackling lightning, and burning acid.

of the elements, fire is a preferred favourite. laera herself is as uncontrollable as flame; burning hot with hatred, passion, resolve… for close quarter casting, green blue flame blade and immolation; for the times laera needs to thin out enemies or create an opening, fire bolt, scorching ray, the much beloved fireball, and chromatic orb ( when she's wanting some elemental variety ) are staples in her spell casting. while practical for combat purposes, laera also uses them for utility as well when not facing down foes. lastly, a notable mention and straying from the comfort of fire: laera's personal favourite is the well used thunderwave.

the fires of her magic burn blue, and as such, are very damaging and extremely hot.

— the school of abjuration emphasises magic that blocks, banishes, or protects.

laera is fiercely protective of what she values: her life, her ideals, her friends. abjuration fulfills her desire to protect. blade ward was the first ever spell she learned and it allowed a foundation for the rest to follow. shield, warding glyph, and warding bond are meant to mitigate and redirect damage, whether it be intended for herself or a companion. other aburation spells like counterspell and dispel magic are meant to completely neutralise enemy magic, while private sanctum offers a secure resting place in dangerous situations.

overall, laera has worked exceptionally hard to teach herself arcane magic. years worth of self-study went into honing her skill, but she is still, of course, a forever-learner! additionally, partnering spell casting with her fighting style has been a rewarding challenge. she is a sword + shield fighter, her hands are full. however, because of her weapon bond, laera is able to summon her sword to her hand at will — whether that be from its sheathe or the pocket dimension it might be held in — she is able to cast, swing a sword and block with expert fluidity.

evocation and abjuration are her preferred schools of magic, but she knows additional spells from other schools, picking and choosing ones she finds useful, such as the ground covering misty step… ironically enough, for all the damage laera absorbs, she knows zero healing spells!

I think it's terrifying how sane Nikolai actually is, he plays the clown but he KNOWS exactly what he wants and how to play the character. Anyway! Do you think Nikolai and Fyodor would ever agree on sharing a reader? They have such an interesting dynamic with each other.

omg i agree 100%!! nikolai is genuinely petrifying and so so so interesting, i rly love the way he uses tones of voice and can switch between them with such ease aaah it’s v scary but v impressive; i feel like you never really know what you’re going to get with him and when he’s being serious vs when he’s saying shit just to say it—definitely super difficult to read; i wonder how well fyodor can truly read him,,,,, fyodor is so intelligent and so perceptive but nikolai is so unpredictable so??? i dunno hehe i’m just thinking out loud here c:

ooooh okay so i rambled a ton under the cut but!!

ah!!! a very interesting question!!! i want to say no—not completely, anyway. i always see fyodor as ultimately in charge when it comes to their dynamic, despite nikolai’s own dominance and intellect. i think they’re both insanely selfish, and i definitely think that they could possibly lend out a reader to one another, or play with a reader together, but i don’t see them being able to fully share a reader in a relationship split equally right down the middle. one of them would need to ultimately be in charge/in control. i can see fyodor allowing nikolai to fuck around with his reader (as long as he has asked for explicit permission first, of course) and i can see nikolai offering his reader to fyodor or instantly agreeing to fyodor getting to fuck around with his reader if fyodor asked for it, but i can’t see them entering into a relationship with a reader where they are both equally The Boss (for lack of a better term lmao).

i actually think nikolai, if he truly and genuinely fell in love with someone, would become a bit of a yandere. i think having something that now matters very much to him—something that is, essentially, a ball and chain latched around his ankle, something that keeps him from being truly free, something that could be wielded as a weapon to hurt him or control him—would make him extremely protective and possessive over them, extremely neurotic and emotional over anything that remotely has to do with them. now he must guard them with his life, because he won’t be able to handle losing them (in any capacity).

i also think he’d probably resent his darling a little because of all of this—the stress and the restrictions and the utter commitment the relationship is (ie now he HAS to watch over them, now he HAS to make sure they’re safe all the time or he suffers extreme anxiety and can’t focus or function, etc) and how he’s essentially become a slave to it.

he trust fyodor, mostly; he trusts fyodor as much as he is capable of trusting anyone, anyway. he knows fyodor will take care of nikki’s precious lil baby and that there’s no hope of said precious baby getting hurt or taken away from him when they’re in fyodor’s care. they’re safe (and ‘safe’ means many things to nikolai, including trapped) when they’re with fyodor—they’re as safe as they possibly could be when not under nikolai’s direct supervision. as such, he’s alright with lending them out to his boss when asked, and sometimes even gets giddy at the prospect of watching or being involved. (i alsoooo kiiiinda have a headcanon that nikolai likes being praised by fyodor and pleasing him so he’s never going to deny his bestest friend whatever he’s requesting).

sorry omg i feel like this answer totally went off the rails LMAO but yeah!!!! those are my thoughts!!! i just think fyodor’s too jealous to fully share as well—the idea of giving someone else an equal amount of power over his baby isn’t something he’s particularly fond of. i rly do think fyodor loves being in power,,, it’s that god complex idk~

11. what physical affection means or looks like for your oc? (Both buns!)

for Lovelace: He's very hands-on so he's always giving hugs, head pats, hugging, etc. For his lovers, He absolutely loves to cuddle with them, burying his face into the crooks of their necks, kissing, holding them close. He's very, very romantic lol. (without getting into anything too explicit)

for Ebrietas: He is not....the best with showing physical affection, at least in more healthy ways. He doesn't like to hug people at all. Usually, it's other people showing him physical affection! The most he'll do is like lightly pat or lightly grab someone's sleeve. If he likes someone enough in a romantic sense, he will kiss them, straddle them (he loves doing that) and other things but he's just. very inexperienced with normal types because of how unorthodox his upbringing and life before Etheirys.

The sketches were made in September while listening to Harry Styles' album. I was really away from home that time, but at the same time couldn't fully do what I want to. So I'm really happy that these are done!! Also, I got myself a ticket to his concert soon. 🤞🏻

We see a young man sitting in a blue chair and smoking a pipe as an older man sits across from him. The narration reads: The home of Commissioner Gordon, who at the moment is entertaining his young socialite friend, Bruce Wayne. — Bruce is wearing an amber, windowpane checked suit and has his black hair neatly combed back. Gordon, the older man with silver hair and glasses, wears a white suit with black lines forming a herringbone pattern across it. Bruce has his chin resting against his palm in boredom as he asks, "Well, commissioner, anything exciting happening these days?" Gordon responds, "No-o – except this fellow they call the 'Bat-man' puzzles me!" He's interrupted by his phone ringing.

Gordon talks into the phone, "Hello… What's that? Lambert, The Chemical King… Stabbed to death? His son's finger prints on the knife? – I'll be right over!" He hangs up the phone and tells Bruce, "Talk about something exciting… Old Lambert has been murdered at his mansion… I'm going there now. Like to come along?" Bruce nonchalantly says, "Oh well, nothing else to do, might as well." They speed off to Lambert's residence, where they greet the police sergeant. He leads them to the scene of the crime and after a thorough examination, Gordon begins to talk to the murder suspect: 'Young' Lambert, who's already insisting that he wasn't the one that killed his father!

Gordon orders the distressed man to calm down and explain what happened. Young Lambert wipes at his forehead nervously as he reluctantly elucidates, "Well sir… Tonight I came home early, and as I was passing the library I heard a groan... I rushed in and there was my father lying on the floor, with a knife in him! … And as I rushed in, I got the impression of something leaping out of the window… I also noticed that father's safe was opened… I pulled the knife out of my father's body, and turned him toward me just in time to hear him say 'contract'... And then he died. That's how I got my fingerprints on the knife… That's the truth, commissioner!" Two panels accompany Young Lambert's words. It shows him finding his father's body by the open window before cradling his father close to him. 'Old' Lambert vaguely warns his son about the contract before dying in his arms.

Gordon raises his hand to his chin in thought before asking, "Hmm! Did your dad have any enemies or people who had an interest in his business activities?" The man hesitantly answers, "... not that I know of, except his three former business partners... Let's see, they were Steven Crane, Paul Rogers and Alfred Stryker." Before Gordon can continue to question him, he's interrupted by another cop. He's alerted, "Commissioner, there's a man named Steve Crane who wants to speak to Old Lambert... When I told him that Old Lambert was murdered he got very excited and wanted to speak to you!"

Gordon takes the phone and asks what's the trouble. Crane hastily explains, "Yesterday, Mr. Lambert called and told me he received an anonymous threat on his life... today I received the same... That's why I called up... and I'm afraid I'll be next... what shall I do?" Gordon orders, "Wait… And do not let anybody in… We'll be over soon as we can – what's that, Bruce?" He hangs up as Bruce Wayne's actions distract him. Bruce – who's been silently observing this whole time – smacks his tobacco pipe against his open palm, dumping the ashes onto the floor of the crime scene. He apathetically announces, "Ho hum! I'll leave you here to finish your work… I'm going home."

Meanwhile, Crane sits in his home library with a feeling of impending danger as he waits… Before a gunman suddenly breaks in! He shoots Crane dead without hesitation before stealing a paper from his safe and leaving through the window! He joins his partner on the roof, who checks if the murderer got the paper. The narration reads: ... As the two men leer over their conquest, they do not notice a third menacing figure standing behind them… It is the "Bat-Man!" — The cowardly criminals recoil in shock at the masked man. He wears a cowl that conceals the top half of his face and has bat like ears sticking out. His arms are crossed as he broadly stands with his legs spread. On his chest is a bat emblem and he has a big, dramatic cape draped from his shoulders that flare out – it too resembling a bat.

But suddenly the Bat-Man punches the accompanying partner, knocking him unconscious! He grabs the murderer in a headlock and with a mighty heave, he sends the burly criminal flying through the air and off the roof! Commissioner Gordon and his men are just arriving at the scene – the commissioner announcing it's the Bat-Man and to 'get him', prompting the other cops to start firing at the mysterious stranger! The Bat-Man flees from the scene at once, but not before quickly snatching the paper the criminals stole from Crane's safe!

He escapes to his red sedan and reads the paper he took from the killers before a grim smile stretches across his lips. He speeds off to an unknown destination! During which, the butler informs Gordon and his men that Crane has been murdered. Gordon tells another cop, "That's two dead partners out of the four that received threatening notes. The other two must have received them too… Let's go to Rogers next!"

Meanwhile Rogers, who has learned of Lambert's death by news broadcast, has already gone to the neighboring laboratory of his erstwhile partner, Alfred Stryker… — Rogers greets Stryker's assistant, Jennings. Jennings invites the distraught man inside before clubbing him in the head and tying him up in the laboratory's basement! Jennings schemes to himself, "Heh! Heh! One more out of the way – soon I'll control everything!"

Rogers wakes to find himself in a trap and calls Jennings a fiend! Jennings laughs again as he taunts, "This is the gas-chamber I use to kill guinea pigs, to experiment with – but now you are my guinea pig! When the glass lid covers you entirely, gas will come through the jet and kill you! I'm going down now to turn the gas on… Sleep well!" he leaves with one last giggle and with a pull of the brake to cause the glass chamber to start to descend!

But at that very moment, the Bat-Man jumps through an open transom! He seizes a wrench from a table and leaps for the gas-chamber, barely managing to get inside before it seals itself against the floor! Swiftly, the Bat-Man plugs the gas jet with a handkerchief. He unties Rogers and with a powerful swing, he uses the wrench to break the glass!

Jennings returns and is startled at seeing the Bat-Man! He reaches for his gun but the masked vigilante 'greets' him with a flying tackle and punch, knocking the murderous assistant unconscious!

Meanwhile, Stryker has heard the crash of the gas-chamber being broken. He enters the laboratory and finds Rogers and his assistant, failing to notice the Bat-Man has secluded himself in the shadows. Rogers exclaims that Stryker's assistant tried to kill him! Stryker responds, "So he didn't get you after all… Well, I'll finish you and then throw your body in the acid tank below." He pulls a knife and goes to attack Rogers before the Bat-Man springs into action!

He grabs Stryker's hand harshly, forcing him to drop the knife in shock! Rogers asks the masked man why did Stryker try to kill him as the Bat-Man holds the would-be murderer by his collar to prevent his escape. He explains, "This rat was behind the murders! You see, I learned that you, Lambert, Crane, and Stryker were once partners in the Apex Chemical Corporation. Stryker, who wished to be sole owner, but having no ready cash made secret contracts with you, to pay a certain sum of money each year until he owned the business. He figured by killing you and stealing the contracts, he wouldn't have to pay this money."

Rogers can't help but to admire, "Hmm, a very clever scheme, and being the contracts were a strict secret between the four of us, our heirs or the outside world wouldn't know a thing about them… But how did you know all this?" The Bat-Man pulls a rolled up piece of paper out of nowhere before simply stating, "I secured this contract from one of his hired killers."

Suddenly, Stryker, with the strength of a madman, tears himself free from the grasp of the Bat-Man… — He shoves himself away in an attempted escape but the Bat-Man knocks him off-balance with a right hook punch to the man's face! He stumbles backwards and crashes through the flimsy railing, falling into the tank of acid. Bat-Man solemnly remarks that it's 'a fitting ending for his kind'. Rogers turns to the mysterious man, starting to ask how could he ever thank him, but the Bat-Man is already fleeing by the skylight window.

The next day, young Bruce Wayne is again a visitor at the commissioner's house… Who has just finished telling Bruce the latest exploits of the "Bat-Man". — Bruce is skeptical of the story, telling Gordon, "Hmm! A very lovely fairy-tale, commissioner, indeed." After Bruce departs, the commissioner mumbles to himself, "Bruce Wayne is a nice young chap – but he certainly must lead a boring life… Seems disinterested in everything."

Bruce returns to his home and goes to his bedroom. A short while later, the door slowly opens, revealing to us Bruce Wayne's greatest secret and something that would surely amaze all… That he himself is the Bat-Man!
