Are TERFs just insecure? Like, they see trans women being confident in their womanhood. i'm transmasc but use the female bathroom for my own safety and comfort. and, for reference, i am pre-everything in a medical transition sense, but look very androgynous/masculine depending on what i'm wearing. and i've had multiple women point me in the direction of the men's if they see me queuing outside (i've always replied very simply "oh, i'm a woman", which is a lie but they've been very gracious about it every time and apologised for assuming lol).

then at a gay karaoke bar, i've was asked if i was a lesbian. i said "nah, i'm a fella" (because it was the easiest way to answer that question given how drunk this around 50 year-old very clearly straight woman was), and the woman answered "oh! sorry! well, you're a beautiful man :]"
