Personality description : Kind, empathic, gentle. Aang hates fighting and would prefer to solve conflicts and arguments in a different way, but is also aware that is not always possible. Due to this, he was certain he would not be able to handle the pressure of being the Avatar, and decided to run away instead. Although later, he beats up himself over the fact that he did not accept his fate earlier, and was not able to help earlier those who needed it

Memories of their real life : Aang's memories are sadly a mess. He feels like he is still missing important things when it comes to his real life, like names and faces and of course how he managed to bend all four elements. Usually, the memory kicks in again when someone he is supposed to know comes to talk to Aang. However, he does not really want to tell anyone about his issues, worried his old friends would think then that Aang does let them down.

What was their fake life like : 

Aang came to Australia as a child together with his uncle who was owning a trading company. They had not planned to stay in Sydney forever, but then the war came, and his uncle considered it to be more safe to stay in Australia for a while.

His uncle also wanted Aang to work in his company, Aang however… he was not someone for business and paperwork, not really. Despite the hardship the two of them had gone through already, Aang was a way more carefree nature than his uncle, and was convinced that the right job for him would for sure find him, one day.

However, his uncle still insisted that Aang went to college. And, Aang is not stupid. School is most likely no fun, but he does still study hard, even though, Aang is worried his uncle might use this to get him to still work for him once he graduated.

Aang was able to make friends during his time in Sydney, even though, some did avoid him not only because he was a foreigner, but also because odd things sometimes were happening around and to Aang, making them think he was possessed, or, maybe, cursed. When in reality, it was only his memories trying to break through, and Aang's ability to manipulate the elements. And with this, Aang also slowly realizes that he has responsibilities in life, and that he can not continue to run away from them.
