Telugu Baalasiksha with Manu
Hello! I'm Manu and here on this hellsite this morning we're sitting down and learning Telugu📝📝
I myself learnt it a bit late, half from my grandma (a Telugu pandit) and half from baalasiksha (baala - child, little one ; siksha - teaching guide - in this case). Practice helps. So we will practice sentences and words etc but that's after we cover the basics. We will probably do 4 posts with basics: the vowels, the consonants, the matras and then the votthulu (don't worry, i'll explain everything my sweeties). After the basics we will learn more.
(alphabets in telugu are called "AKSHARAALU" like "अक्षरालू")
Part 1 📍 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
so!
VOWELS
or as we call them in telugu "acchulu"
అ = अ = a (ah)
ఆ = आ = aa (aaah)
ఇ = इ = i (like you pronounce 'e' but cut it halfway)
ఈ = ई = ii (like 'eee', drag the sound)
ఉ = उ = u (a short 'ooh')
ఊ = ऊ = uu (drag the 'oooh')
ఋ = ऋ with a 'u' attached = rhu (like "ooru becky")
ౠ = ऋ with a 'uu' attached = rhuu (like "ooroo becky")
ఎ = short ए = e (like "ey get lost")
ఏ = normal ए = ee (drag the "eey" a bit)
ఐ = ऐ but like "अय्याशी "= ai (say "ayyayo")
ఒ = short ओ = ⅟₂ oh (very short)
ఓ = normal ओ = oh
ఔ = औ but like "oww" = au (like a wolf howl)
అం = अं = am (from the throat, like "umm i can't freddie")
అః = अ: = ahuh (a low fake cough, focus on the 'hhhh' sound)
that's it for the vowels, now it's akka's time to pat y'all on the back, give forehead kisses and some chockies for being such good darlings.
it might be daunting, tricky and irritating to learn a new language. This is you nudging a section of your brain to make space. Space for new instructions for the tongue to move in a different way. I've tried my best to explain the sounds for the tricky vowels, and i will continue to break down every alphabet in the same way, don't worry.
let me know if you have any feedback, doubts or just want to vent.
a lot of us here know how to speak telugu, but not write it as easily. and we can deal with any and all problems. just stick with me!
here's an image of the vowels we've learnt today, handwrittten (so that you can practice how it's written instead of getting stuck with the online/keyboard version)
(don't mind the lines and all, i just wanted the letters to be visible so i wrote them big like that)

RRR headcanon
Hi RRR community I’ve been a fan of the movie for weeks now and have read and followed most of everyone’s posts and fic ideas and wanted to put out my own. I wanted to do an AU about bheem, ram, Jenny, and sita being poly and they adopted my ocs (Jaan and Johari two young girls who were saved by the group from the British in a raid or was on the run and bumped into them and asked for help) Or the idea that just like Malli they were taken by the Scott’s and brought to India. I loved the head cannon of reader daughter to rambheem and wanted to put out my own for my characters.
- If they were with the Scotts Jenny knew them and asked bheem to help save them.
- after rescuing ram she leads them to where they are hiding since she snuck em out.
- The two have a soft spot for the girls as soon as they see how protective they were of each other. And sita soon follows suit when she meets them.
- Due to the time period they are in ram bheem sita and Jenny get married in Hetero marriages together. So only their villages know their real relationship as opposed to the rest of the world. And adopt the girls.
- Johari is ramsita’s kid and Jaan is bheemjenny’s kid.
- Johari is a soft kid and has a extroverted fun personality while Jaan is a tsundere with an introverted and reserved personality only really being more extroverted around Johari and her baba(bheem).
- Malli is their bestie and they all do cute pranks on the adults and get into chaotic mischief.
- Johari loves helping out around the clinic bheem and sita own and work at helping the rebels. She also loves learning telugu and English with their mummy(Jenny) and daddy(ram).
-Jaan loves animals more than people due to her memories of their kidnapping and how much pain and suffering they indured. Bheem was able to get her to trust them by bringing little animals to talk about and pet.
- One day she ventured out causing a panic and came back with two baby animals. A panther and a tiger. Rambheem worrying about the mothers being nearby and Jennysita worrying how she got bear them to take them. Johari shaking her head in amusement because of course Jaan would come back with two big cats as pets like it’s just a normal thing🙄.
- Jaan tells em about how they lost their parents and we’re all alone so she saved them and brought them so they wouldn’t be lonely anymore like she was. Cue family fluff and reassurances. And the fam had new additions to the family.
- Babai loves the two to bits and spoils them along with the villages. They call him grandpa and that made the man break into tears once.
- Jaan and Johari are like rambheem ice and magma and mix of their parents temperance. Ram(fire), sita(earth), Jenny(air), and bheem(water).
- the girls grow up to be freedom fighters and speak out on the injustice to black and brown people in India, uk, and USA.
- rambheemsita pass away at canon ages and Jenny raises them until her passing at age 70. She promises them they will all reunite in the next life like bheem foretold and will be born a family again in a world where they will all be free and accepted.

BIOGRAPHY.
001. devika is one of two children born to an upper middle class family in seattle . the kumar family is successful . ‘ bragging rights to extended family members ’ successful . a lawyer . a cardiologist . two healthy children ( a son and a daughter ) . what more could they ask for ? unfortunately for devika , their parents’ success translated to strong expectations being thrust upon them from a young age . she is always striving to be the absolute best in whatever she did . be it in school , sports , extracurriculars –– you name it .
and these expectations carry through as they get older . she never wanted to disappoint her parents . it didn’t matter that it looked like devika was slowly overloading herself , she never wanted to disappoint . she was going to make it happen . and that work eventually pays off when they get accepted to harvard . unfortunately , her parents weren’t satisfied . it wasn’t enough to get into an ivy league university . there’s a lot more for her to prove .
002. college served as a sense of freedom . they’re on their own for the first time . however , devika still feels the extent of her parents’ expectations . by the time she graduates , she has a double major in chemistry and art history and a minor in south asian studies ( though , the two other additions to their chemistry major remain a secret from their parents ) .
it doesn’t stop there . she makes the decision to pursue her masters . not in chemistry . just in art history and south asian studies . and she hides that from her parents . they let them believe they’re doing it for chemistry . she’ll tell them eventually ! so she doesn’t return home and is instead off to new york . new city , same habits . study . explore a new city . date around a little bit . update her parents every once in a while . and this works . so much so that after devika finishes obtaining their masters , they move to LA to get their doctorate .
003. things come crashing down while devika is in LA . not their career . they’re in school and secured a curator position within a very well established museum . she feels external pressure from her parents to get married . they knew it was coming , but marriage just wasn’t in devika’s books . . . not for a long while .
however , with news that their brother had gotten engaged , devika’s parents started pushing her into marrying . so much so that they’ve given her a list of suitors ( of course deemed acceptable by their standards ) . she doesn’t say anything . she accepts it and eventually finds someone they’re compatible with . things move as they would . they’re engaged by the time they finish their doctorate program .
004. their engagement was met with excitement all around from everyone except devika . maybe it’s just jitters from how big of a decision they’re making , right ? surely that’ll wear off and they’ll be excited to plan their wedding ? and that’s what they convince themselves to believe .
unfortunately , six months into wedding planning and those feelings of dread haven’t shaken . the last thing she wants to do is disappoint but marriage just wasn’t in the cards for her . but devika makes the decision to call off the wedding . as expected , it’s met with anger and disappointment . despite parting on good terms with their ex-fiance , the rest of their family weren’t as understanding . to get away from it all , devika stumbles upon the crowned hope . they booked a ticket and hasn’t checked in with their family since .
PERSONALITY.
devika can come off as quiet, caring and sensitive . always open to listen and be that shoulder to cry on . something that’s just been part of her charm . and while they are highly perceptive and more than willing to offer support when needed , they’re still closed off when it comes to their personal life . she’s reluctant to open up , seeing it as a burden to others . and from time to time , they can be a little bit of a perfectionist and a little dramatic about it . despite all this , she’s practical , decisive and compassionate .

Really thrilled to explore the OTT space with this one." Explaining further details about this move, Prerna said, "I've always focused on creating pan-India theatrical films since the beginning of my career, as that's how I perceive cinema, business, and the industry as a whole. However, in recent years, watching web series has sparked my curiosity and excitement about this new form of storytelling. Is ChitramTV the Future of Indian Television in Europe?
As more South Asians migrate abroad, the desire to access Indian television only grows. While early settlers relied on sketchy bootleg boxes, slow streams or expensive satellite setups, meet ChitramTV - the new gold standard for enjoying Desi channels outside India.
ChitramTV delivers crystal-clear live TV combined with smooth streaming across devices. This future-facing platform makes it simple and affordable to reconnect with your favorite Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and other Indian channels while living overseas.
But what exactly makes ChitramTV the future of Indian television for Europe's expat community? Let's analyze the key benefits.
Flawless Video Quality
Gone are the days of grainy illegal streams and constant buffering. ChitramTV harnesses cutting-edge CDN technology to deliver lag-free HD streaming with exceptional clarity.
You get sharp visuals, vivid colors, and smooth motion whether watching high-action sports or fast-paced soap operas. Video automatically adapts to screen size and internet speed.
This pristine picture beats outdated satellite broadcasts, costing a fraction of expensive DTH setups and contracts. Expect a cinema-like quality that makes shows captivating.
Robust Channel Selection
ChitramTV offers unmatched variety, catering to every language and genre. Access over 300+ Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and other regional Indian channels - more than typical European carriers provide.
From breaking news to vintage movies, hard-hitting dramas to lighthearted game shows, devotional songs to sensational sports - ChitramTV delivers channel depth no rival platform can match today.
Selection expands constantly based on user demand making sure beloved classics and new sensations are available abroad.
Built for Europe
As a continental company based in Europe, ChitramTV servers are geo-located for blazing speeds across the region. This localized infrastructure trumps overseas streaming sites prone to sluggishness and geo-restrictions.
The platform is designed exclusively to serve EU nations. So, unlike Indian-based rivals, you avoid censorship of sensitive content or programming delays. Video streams in sync with Indian channel schedules.
ChitramTV also accepts convenient EUR payments, and European customer support dismantles barriers to overseas desis.
Device Flexibility
Today's viewer needs flexibility. Unlike complex satellite setups that hog the TV, ChitramTV works across both big and small screens for ultimate convenience.
Slim apps seamlessly run on smartphones, tablets, computers, streaming hardware and modern television sets with Chromecast built-in.
Pair with HDMI cables or wireless screencasting to watch on large displays. Downloads take minutes - no costly hardware or installations are needed. Portable entertainment is now truly achievable abroad.
Affordable Pricing
DTH packages in Europe jack up rates, knowing customers have few alternatives. But ChitramTV makes Indian TV economically viable without constant bill hikes or confusing long-term contracts.
Plans start from just €7.99/month for 200+ Tamil channels, with larger bundles having incredible value. Annual options knock 48% off versus pricey competitors!
As an independent broadcaster designed for Indians abroad, ChitramTV costs less than major players. Expect substantial savings with similar quality but greater flexibility.
Final Verdict
Fusing next-gen technology with sharp content curation and an affordable EEC platform, ChitramTV pioneers Indian television's global reach. Perfect picture quality, endless entertainment variety and boundaryless viewing clearly make this the future.
Satellite TV fails to innovate as quickly while rival streaming apps lag behind Europe's unique needs. But ChitramTV aims higher - rapidly enhancing infrastructure to match subscriber demand abroad.
For South Asian immigrants across Germany, France, Italy, and beyond, this channel changer sustains cultural connections in an accessible way.

Public Reviews
Salaar's story is just right—not too complicated, not too simple. The movie's dark tone and impressive visuals capture the intense moments well. It's cool that they skipped random dance scenes; the story flows better. Prabhas did well, but it's not his best. The second half could be edited better, and Shruti Hasan's acting isn't great. The action scenes are the best part—very cool and memorable. Overall, Salaar is a solid 4-star film, especially if you like dark themes.
One of the best action movies in 2023, directed by Prashanth Neel, is thrilling and full of energy with just a few flaws. The film beautifully portrays the strong friendship between Prabhas and Prithviraj. The action scenes are reminiscent of KGF, and the cinematography is excellent. Prashant Neel's unique style shines through, making it feel like a comeback for Prabhas. It's a powerful mix of action and emotions.
Firstly, for those criticizing without watching, I've got one thing to say. Now, onto the story—it's gripping, with goosebumps every 10 minutes. The BGM is fantastic. Prabhas makes a strong comeback with his powerful presence. Prithvi Raj delivers his best. Shruti Hassan has a small role. Prashant Neel's direction defines violence. In conclusion, it's a masterclass deserving of 5/5!
Free Tickets Giveaway:
Nikhil Siddhartha is giving away 100 free tickets for the 1 am show at SriRamulu Theatre. A treat for die-hard fans of Prabhas.
Director's Insight:
Prashanth Neel shares his vision for Salaar, emphasizing its unique world, massive action, strong characters, and emotional storytelling. Get a glimpse into the director's creative journey.
In a nutshell, Salaar is an action-packed treat with some drawbacks. If you love Prabhas or high-octane action, it's worth a watch this weekend.
Is Salaar a sequel to KGF? No, Salaar is a standalone film, not a sequel to KGF.
How is Prabhas's performance? Prabhas delivers a powerful performance, especially in action sequences.
Is it suitable for family audiences? The abundance of violence might not be suitable for all family members.
Why the A certificate? The film aimed for a U/A certificate, but rules changed, leading to an A certificate.
How different is Salaar from other action films? Salaar offers a unique storyline and intense action, setting it apart from the usual action fare.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's Bholaa Shankar is getting ready to hit the screens on August 11th. The action entertainer marks the comeback of forgotten big-ticket director Meher Ramesh who once dished out films like Billa, Kantri, Shakti and Shadow. It has been a decade since his last release.
As all his films tanked heavily at the box office, Meher Ramesh took a long sabbatical from direction. Surprisingly, he bagged a golden opportunity to direct Chiranjeevi in the Telugu remake of Tamil hit Vedhalam. The result of Bholaa Shankar will decide Meher's future in Tollywood.
If the film manages to emerge as a decent hit, it will surely ride on Chiranjeevi's box office stamina and Meher will get a new lease of life. But, if it fails to strike a chord with moviegoers, his career will come to an end. No Telugu hero will work with Meher Ramesh unless he proves his mettle with Bholaa Shankar. Hence, it is a make-or-break attempt for Meher Ramesh.
So far, the buzz on Bholaa Shankar is so underwhelming due to the lack of exciting content in the teasers and trailers. The songs also couldn't gain traction with moviegoers. It will now depend on positive reviews and strong word of mouth after the premiere shows for the film to emerge as a big hit at the box office.
Bholaa Shankar has Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthi Suresh in significant roles. Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainment banner is the producer.

Naga Chaitanya broke up not only with Samantha Ruth but also with Shruti Haasan, their sister broke up.
Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan Breakup: Shruti Haasan, who has flaunted her beauty in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films, recently appeared in Forbes India's Top 100 Celebrities list. Shruti Haasan started her career as a child artist. During this time, he made his first guest appearance in his father Kamal Haasan's film 'Hey Ram'. After that she worked in many films and today the situation is such that Shruti Haasan is not dependent on any identity.
If we talk about Shruti Haasan's relationship, let's say that the name of the actress is associated with the famous actor of southern cinema, Naga Chaitanya. Apart from the relationship of the two, the marriage news has also been in the headlines for a long time. However, their relationship broke up with the breakup.
What happened to Shruti Haasan and Naga Chaitanya's breakup?
According to media reports, Shruti Haasan and Naga Chaitanya came close to each other in 2013. During this time, love blossomed between the two and since then the two have supported each other many times. When Shruti Haasan and Chaitanya were seen getting close at an award function, the news started catching on. At this time, the news of their marriage also came to the fore, but then the relationship between the two broke up.
Shruti and Naga's relationship breaks down because of her sister
When the news of the breakup of the two comes forward, the reason for the breakup is also known, and it is also known that the two broke up for a very small reason. It so happened that Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan's sister Akshara Haasan came together for an event. Shruti Haasan's performance was at the same function, but then Akshara had to go somewhere for some work. Shruti asked Naga to leave Akshara… but Naga Chaitanya could not due to some work and left. This upset Shruti and she stopped talking to Naga after that. In such a situation, the relationship between the two ends.
Samantha is also divorced from Ruth Prabhu
After that, famous South actress Samantha Ruth entered Prabhu Naga Chaitanya's life and both of them got married in 2017, but their relationship did not last long and in 2021, both of them separated by mutual consent.
