i still find it so genuinely Weird when i think about the fact that fat people irl are a rather common occurrence. your family, your friends, your coworkers, people on the bus, random passerbys - there are fat people there. usually often. but when you look at Any form of media - movies, tv shows, video games, books are more complicated as not a visual medium but there too, fat people are almost nonexistent. one fat person for the whole movie. one fat person in the background of your fictional city. this is so insanely unrealistic but at the same time nobody comments on this and "we" accept it as normal!! and then people even think their own fatness makes them into some rare failure instead of one of the incredibly common body situations. crazy

that constant nagging of ambition and fear of stagnancy literally rules my life. sometimes it paralyzes me and i end up barely doing anything for the day and sometimes it energizes me. the need to get better, the need to improve skills, and the need to reinvent myself. it still shocks me that the average person doesn’t feel this ache to BECOME. to evolve. to flourish. to kickstart a metamorphosis every month. hell, maybe every week. like who am i without gutting my wardrobe or deciding a new career path? idk. but at least I’m another skill smarter, another look hotter, and another business wealthier. better than nothing at all.

I think the funniest thing about Violet most likely getting a romance plot this season is Anthony’s going to come back from extended honeymoon having left Benedict in charge and find their mother being pursued and you know his head’s going to explode

“Benedict I left you in charge for a month! A month, and our mother has been lured to some sort of… den of sin!”

Benedict sighed, looking a little beseechingly at his sister in law for assistance over his brother’s shoulder. “Anthony, she danced with a man and she’s standing on a balcony. It’s hardly a den of sin.”

“And have we vetted this man?! Have we done our research?” Anthony hissed, peering through the window at their mother.

“Anthony, darling, your mother’s a grown woman.” Kate said gently, smoothing her hand along his back. “I’m sure it’s-”

“And as for the balcony,” Anthony rounded on Benedict again, jerking his head at Kate “This one lured me onto a balcony last year and had me half in love with her in 90 seconds!”

Kate rolled her eyes, “I technically followed him and all I did was yell at him about the way he discussed women.”

“Exactly!” Anthony hissed. “Benedict, honestly! Is there anything else you’ve let happen?!”

“Well, Colin seems to be…”

“Colin seems to be what?!” Anthony said, craning his neck to look around, his chest heaving.

“It’s just as well we’ve already a baby on the way now.” Kate sighed, “I’d never get you in the mood again, from the looks of this.”

thinking about the missed opportunity that was supposed to be jess’s spinoff show and how we probably would’ve got a really cool love interest (or at least i hope, because no thirty something year old man needs to be stuck on his high school girlfriend of six months).

i have no fucking clue as to where the show would’ve went besides jess and jimmy getting to know eachother. i doubt it would make it past its first season if it did air. BUT nonetheless, i’m talking about it.

a possible love interest (or just character on the show in general) i’d love to see is your typical beachy blonde. i’d love to see some rich girl from venice that jess sees out with her friends or something and automatically assumes the worst. she must be some bitchy blonde with guys all over her… right? until one night he’s strolling on the beach and sees her drunk shoved up against a tree by some guy. jess gets in a fight, blah blah. gets her home and realizes just how empty her huge house is. they slowly start hanging out and despite her lack of knowledge in the literature scene, she’s probably one of the sweetest girls he’s ever met (shit now i really wanna write a fic about this).

i’ve also always felt like jess needs someone exactly like him. so much so that it freaks him the fuck out. HA! i was originally thinking the girl from “she’s all that” but now im iffy. ANYWAYS. when jess is looking through one of the huge bookstores, he sees her sitting on the floor with a book. he sees her around town a lot (typically hanging out with the guys who stole his book and skated off) turns out she works near jimmy’s truck. she’s ridiculously shy and reserved. but she’s not afraid to call someone out. think an artsy rory with balls.

now, would rory come back and ruin jess’s possible relationship? probs. would jess get in his head cause what is he doing moving on from rory? probs. would it even last? who tf knows. BUT NOW IM INTERESTED. BYE!
