Tibetischer Arzt wegen Online-Beiträgen über den Dalai Lama zum zweiten Mal verhaftet

Am 27. Februar wurde ein tibetischer Mönch, der zugleich der Leiter des Hospitals des Klosters Mura im Bezirk Machu in der Tibetisch-Autonomen Präfektur Kanlho, Provinz Gansu ist, zum zweiten Mal festgenommen.

Die Beamten des Public Security Bureau (PSB) des Bezirks nahmen den 50jährigen Khedrup fest, als er gerade seine persönlichen Gegenstände, die bei seiner ersten Verhaftung konfisziert worden waren, im Büro des PSB abholen wollte. Sie forderten den Mönch auf, sein Mobiltelefon und andere Sachen an sich zu nehmen und in Laienkleidung hereinzukommen. Später wurde er im PSB Büro in Haft genommen.

Über zwei Monate sind seit seiner erneuten Festnahme vergangen, aber seine Familie weiß immer noch nicht, wo sich Khedrup befindet. Das Bezirks-PSB hat die geheime Verhaftung des Mönches weder bestätigt noch Gründe dafür angegeben. Nach tibetischen Quellen vor Ort beschuldigen die chinesischen Behörden Khedrup, Unterweisungen des Dalai Lama auf sozialen Medien verbreitet zu haben. Außerdem habe er Blogs verfaßt, in denen er Sympathie für die aus Larung Gar vertriebenen Mönche und Nonnen zeigte und sich zu religiöser Freiheit und kulturellen Rechten bekannte. Es wird ihm auch vorgeworfen, ähnliche von anderen Tibetern verfaßte Beiträge Online gestellt zu haben.

Khedrup wurde schon einmal im Dezember 2016, von der “Einheitsfront“, der Abteilung der KP, die für die tibetischen Belange zuständig ist, verhaftet. Am 13. Dezember 2016 wurde er etwa um 11 Uhr aus seiner Wohnung im Kloster abgeführt. Bis zu seiner Freilassung am 21. Januar 2017 wußte niemand etwas über seinen Verbleib. Als Tseten, ein Verwalter des Klosters, und Mura Gyapa, ein Arzt des dortigen Hospitals, beim Bezirkshaftzentrum des PSB nach Khedup fragte, wollte dieses keine Auskunft über den Aufenthaltsort des Mönches geben. Allmählich verbreitete sich die Nachricht über Khedrups Verschwinden, und einige Tibeter gingen zum Büro des PSB und forderten Auskunft über ihn. Die PSB-Beamten gaben dann zu, daß Khedrup von der Einheitsfront festgenommen worden war, stritten jedoch ab, irgend etwas über die Gründe für seine Festnahme zu wissen.

Khedrup war 2012 und 2014 auf Pilgerreise in Indien und Nepal gewesen. In Indien legte er die Gelong- (Mönchs-) Gelübde ab und in Nepal begab er sich für einige Monate in die Abgeschiedenheit. Bei seiner Rückkehr nach Tibet verdächtigten die Behörden ihn politischer Absichten und verhörten ihn wiederholt. Schließlich wurde er unter polizeiliche Überwachung gestellt.

Khedrup wurde 1967 in der Gemeinde Mura geboren. Als er 13 Jahre alt war, starb seine Mutter Bhelko und er wurde von seinem Vater Khelko getrennt. In jungen Jahren machten er und seine Schwester Schweres durch, als seine Familie wegen der großen Viehherden, die sie als Nomaden besaß, gedemütigt und drangsaliert wurde. Mit 14 Jahren trat er in das Kloster Mura ein, wo er in buddhistischer Philosophie unterrichtet wurde. Später wechselte er in das Kloster Labrang Tashikyil über, um Poesie und Astrologie zu studieren. Nach Vollendung seiner Studien kehrte er nach Mura zurück, um beim Wiederaufbau des Klosters, das während der Kulturrevolution zerstört worden war, mitzuhelfen. Er begleitete mehrere Positionen in dem Kloster, so diente er als Abt, Disziplinär, Verwalter, Gesangsmeister und Lehrer.

Zur Zeit seiner Festnahme war er der Direktor des Klosterhospitals von Mura. Er ist auch ein sehr guter Tierarzt. Erfolgreich behandelte er kranke Tiere und stand der Nomadengemeinde in Machu bei.

Jinpa and Lobsang will be at The Light Clinic this Sunday from 10:30a-Noon and 2:30-4p teaching meditation, chanting, and giving a short dharma talk.
