Sketch by USMC Sergeant Jack Carrillo, showing an Amphibious Assault Vehicle prior to crossing the New Saddam Bridge in Baghdad, Iraq on April 7, 2003.
The road ahead was impassable at the time due to anti-tank mines that were later cleared.
Record Group 330: Records of the Office of the Secretary of Defense
Series: Combined Military Service Digital Photographic Files
Image description: A sketch of an Amphibious Assault Vehicle that is not moving. The vehicle is large and blocky, with a tilted-up front end and tracks like a tank. 14 people stand or sit next to, on top of, or behind the vehicle. They are all wearing bulky clothing, vests, and helmets.

US collar badge. Probably 30s – early 40s. Don’t know what 24 signifies. Could be a 24th Infantry (Tanks) Regiment. The back has the manufacturer marking “AMCRAFT, Attleboro, Mass. ACID TEST. Note that I have two of these badges and they are identical, but only one of them has the manufacturer mark on the back.

"Fear Naught"
I generally don't collect militaria, but this little trench art piece was too nice to pass up. Carved bone skull memento mori pendant or fob (maybe?) engraved with Royal Tank Corps abbreviation, founding year, and motto. The bottom of the piece is a lucky sixpence. Made sometime after 1923 based on the motto.
