I've got a new painting drop for you. This is "tWitch's Last Dance." It's part of a 3 painting set, with the other pieces to follow in the next couple weeks. This piece is 24in x 36in and blacklight activated with a variable orientation, meaning you can hang it any way you want. I also dropped some reels creating this piece with a few more to come. 

The passing of Stephen tWitch Boss hit hard last month because I'm tired of losing people to battles with mental health and suicide, let alone the best of us. I remember one Summer I was having particular difficulty, I started watching So You Think You Can Dance and discovered tWitch. He was always such a bright light and an inspiration not only for dancers, but creators and dreamers of all types. I am just one of countless people I know that man inspired and touched with his kindness. One thing that I will always remember is his infectious smile. It's also a humbling reminder that many of us hide much more behind the mask of a smile. 

Yesterday, I finally added a "Featured Originals" section on my website, where I will now drop new pieces and a small sampling of available works. I also added 12 month payment plans because art should be accessible to everyone.

I was a huge SYTYCD fan in its first few seasons (it lost its lustre along the way, as most reality shows do) and Twitch was one the most vibrant talents and personalities to emerge from the show. The news of his passing is profoundly sad.

Ain’t that the truth? I swear, those who hurt the most don’t want others to feel the same way. So we laugh. We tell jokes. We want to see others happy.

We also learn coping mechanisms to survive. How to be positive, and stay affirmative. But it is a struggle and the darkness is always just below the surface. We perform. Yes, we do. Fake it until you make it. It becomes such a habit that sometimes, the person we are deceiving the most is ourselves.

The times when I have been at my lowest, the outside world would never know. By the time they can see, I'd be in crisis. Years of therapy, CBT/DBT, and self-awareness allow me to see the signs, for the most part, now, but not always.

This truly breaks my heart. 💔

I LOVED step up when I was little. I loved him on the Ellen show. I loved how excited he always was. How cute he was with his wife and kids. He always had the sickest dance moves and he seemed like such a kind person.

Idk why im so upset right now but I just genuinely can’t believe this.
