Almost a year after his disappearance, I still want to remember him better, what better thing than seeing him again in the legendary TV series MAGNUM P.I. , with new actors , but the legendary Roger E. Mosley also participated he was called for the reboot of Magnum P.I., currently consisting of four seasons. The part of Thomas Magnum was entrusted to Jay Hernardez, while Mosley played for two episodes Booky, a Vietnam War veteran who became a barber. This was his last ever appearance, before his death on Sunday 7 August 2022.

For fans of Magnum P.I. today is a bad awakening. In fact, Roger E. Mosley has passed away, who everyone will remember for playing Theodore "TC" Calvin in the cult series of the 80s

Mourning in the entertainment world. On Sunday 7 August, Roger E. Mosley passed away at the age of 83, an American actor best known for playing Theodore "TC" Calvin in the 1980s TV series Magnum P.I. The causes of his death have not yet been confirmed, but some rumors report a car accident that involved him three days ago and from which he has never recovered. The announcement was made on Facebook by his daughter Ch-a Mosley who, contrary to what such a sad story allows, urged people not to cry because her father "would hate any cry in his name, it's time for us to celebrate the legacy he left us ". A nice memory that underlines what kind of person Roger Mosley was not only as an actor but also as a father and life partner.

THE CAREER OF ROGER MOSLEY

Roger E. Mosley was born in Los Angeles, in the Watts neighborhood on December 18, 1938. He made his debut as an actor in the cinema in 1972 in the film The New Centurions directed by Richard Fleischer, where he played a truck driver. Later in the 70s he devoted himself purely to the big screen, also joining the cast of The River Niger, The giant of the road (alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger) and The Greatest, in the latter case in the part of boxer Sonny Liston . The turning point in his career, however, came in the 1980s when he moved from the big to the small screen continuously, being cast in Magnum P.I. in the role of Theodore “TC” Calvin. That role was arguably the most iconic as an actor, having given him the face for 158 episodes over eight years from 1980 to 1988. In the TV series, Theodore "TC" Calvin is the owner and sole employee of Island Hoppers, a service that runs the rental of helicopters and tour vans, linked in some way to the Magnum cases. The part of him was so important that the production allowed him to direct one episode in 1984 and write another in 1986.

In 2019 Roger E. Mosley was recalled for the reboot of Magnum P.I., currently consisting of four seasons. The part of Thomas Magnum was entrusted to Jay Hernardez, while Mosley played for two installments Booky, a veteran of the Vietnam war and turned barber. This was the last appearance of him ever, before his death on Sunday 7 August 2022.

Opinion on Thragg's casting

I totally think Thragg should be voiced by T.C. Carson or Chris Judge!

Because think abt it, Anissa is voiced by the actress who plays Becca Butcher (Shantel VanSanten)

If you know the characters you know the fucking Irony...

So having Thragg be voiced by a Kratos VA would also be a nice lil' Easter Egg.

If T.C. Carson, it could be a reference to how Kratos was so bloodlusted and war-like in the Greek saga. Thragg and Young Kratos' personalities are similar inn more ways than not.

If Chris Judge, it could be an opposite to how good of a parent Kratos became, and how he learned to leave his violent ways and Be Better for the sake of his loved ones, whereas Thragg was the Shittiest Father™ in the storyline, and that's when the comics has plenty of shitty fathers already. It could also be referencing the path Kratos was afraid to choose again, and the past he left behind.

Overall I think it would be a pretty damn cool easter egg and a nice little nod, even though Shantel was probably chosen because she worked for the studio before and Santa Monica studios has no relations to this show at all, so it may be harder for this to happen but one can hope.
