Okay so you’ve got that Naga brain riot, right? I saw an ask about if SJ Eclipse was a naga along with Sun and Moon of that AU.

But LISTEN. My brain conjured this:

Mob Boss Sun and Moon plus Chief Eclipse from that one SJ AU as nagas?

Wanna know what's worse than one mob boss-esque naga? Two mob boss-esque nagas! Granted, SID Sun and Moon aren't as violent leaning as SJ Eclipse, but they're still very much about man-handling and taking what they want when they want it.

SID Sun and Moon take after the yellow anaconda with long, muscular bodies. Sun displays a vibrant yellow color with round brown and black splotches throughout, whereas Moon is a deep cobalt blue with sharper, crescent-like gray and red splotches. Both are sinister and cunning and are deeply enthralled by you.

Since you've attracted so much attention from other rivals in the jungle, they don't mind using you as they deem fit. That's not to say they don't have a certain hunger for you, they simply mean to take advantage of your high demand to coerce you into leading other nagas right where they want them so they might take out the competition.

Of course, you're not a very willing participant. You resist and deny them your assistance but they refuse to let you go so easily. Whichever way you step, there's Sun, blocking your path with his wide smile and long body, and when you turn around, Moon is coiled, cutting off your exit. He's not so polite in pointing out that you're cornered. When you're surrounded by the two, you almost wonder if there is truly nowhere to run. They tend to trap you between them, with Moon grabbing your waist from behind and Sun holding your chin tightly in his palm. They muse and hiss over you, wondering when you'll realize that it's only their way. They'd rather not see your pretty face get red and flushed from constantly fighting.

(They're lying.)

Police Chief Eclipse on the other hand is the most caring of all the Eclipse nagas. His dark and burgundy scales lie low along the wetlands and marshes, and his wide, soft amber eyes follow your every step, hoping you don't trip. He's concerned for you. He's the one to warn you to leave, even if he'd rather you stay a little longer. He tells you again and again that you shouldn't be here. You should stay at the base with the other two humans. You don't listen—you're stubborn and scared—and that frustrates him to no end (and endears him). His heart aches at all you endure from each creature. He's had thoughts of simply carrying you away, far from the jungle, where he shouldn't venture, just to make sure you'll be okay. He wants you out of reach from his brothers.

But of course, you don't listen. He's forced to keep up with your precarious position in the jungle.

Oh boy, here we go. I’m really nervous about posting this one. I wanted to do @naffeclipse’s wonderful Sleuth Jester’s AU credit and envision a scene from one of their spin-off chapters, the one I’ve quoted above. I’ve recently started getting back into reading again and came across this entire universe, and I just have to say it’s perfection. Oh don't mind my just my little ranty rant about three body problem with spoilers up until ep three. 😮‍💨

So like I'm kinda bummed about Rooney's death ngl. Like story wise it makes sense that he was the character to go first and be used as a plot device to show the brutality of the San-Ti.

He was the least developed character so far in the series. He didn't get to open in the first episode with the big God question followed by coworker suicide. He doesn't have the countdown hanging over him. He's not in a 'will they, won't they' emotional rollerfuck of a relationship. He's not the wholesome shy sweetie who had his own scene dedicated to the love he has for teaching and what he teaches; and oh yeah has cancer. He's not the dedicated, compassionate orphan with a tragic backstory trying her best to save a child she doesn't even know.

Sadly he's none of that. 😔

He's the silly unserious type who gave up being a genius with his besties to sell snacks. Other than the scene where he tells Will to fight for his life we don't get to emotionally connect with him much. With the game, when he made progress off to level two it was in the background. We don't get to see how smart he is like we do with the others. We only see he understands the concepts brought up for like a single moment(Occam's Razor, syzygy, etc). Like literally most of the time we spent in his world was just to progress Jin's story. And even though they both made it to the summit, it was Jin that got them there.

Sigh

He really was being set up from the beginning but I still liked him a lot dammit 😭. I wanted him to see Will beat cancer or ask Jin out cause clearly that bf is not the endgame.

Ngl, I don’t see Eclipse getting much out of smoking, does he do it for the image like an intimidation factor? Or does it actually do something for him.

I've answered this question so many times but to reiterate: he enjoys the ember ring, the ashes he gets to tap away, and the smoke that clogs the whole room, demanding attention. He controls the burn.

It's the same appeal for Mob Boss Sun and Moon in my swapped fic Syzygy in Dedication except for their choice of poison is golden liquor and cigarettes respectively.

This is my blog dedicated to my TF AU, Syzygy, or SZG, that focuses on three overlapping stories throughout Autobot/Decepticon war: of Sunstreaker, Sideswipe and Cuprum. It is very OC heavy, very personal, as I'm using it as an outlet to cope with my trauma and otherwise things that concern or interest me.

Sunstreaker story line focuses greatly on his personal growth and overlaps with the crew of deserted Autobots, Straybots. He's conflicted after splitting ways with his dearest people and wants to find out what it is he needs to do for sake of peace.

Straybots, besides Sunstreaker, include:

Emberfist - the captain,

Riff - his SIC,

Fleewheel - a runaway smuggler,

Infrared - a medic who never finished his training,

Cleft and Treble - combining motorcycle twins,

Monarch - an escapee Decepticon superweapon,

Bluestreak - a daring blabbermouth,

Jazz - a traveling musician,

Ambulon - an escapee Decepticon paramedic,

and more!

They will be dealing with an overzealous bountyhunter Strider, who's after not just one of the peaceseeking autobots.

Sideswipe's story is of a loyal Autobot who's not satisfied with himself and the war, as a loner; his anger lead him into scary places, and he's learning to rely not just on himself for sake of the greater good.

The shadow of his past is going to be shown through Stunticons, a team of bandits that won't let Sideswipe run from his debt:

Motormaster - the manipulative leader,

Dragstrip - his prideful sidekick,

Wildrider - a loose cannon and brute force,

Deadend - a nihilistic hitman,

Breakdown - an anxious paramedic

Sideswipe finds himself stuck on Earth, that he grows to appreciate.

Cuprum's story is of a bot who lost itself in the pursuit of something better - and sets off to look for what it is he had lost exactly, outside of the bounds of the war.

Flashchase and Pierce will be its companions of the same goal.

Maybe along the way he gets to meet his long lost Amica.

This is the earliest one I could find, and clearly was taken after I had already obtained terraforming and building pathways. The idea for Syzygy had already had its foundations that would remains mostly unchanged.

Added more paths. Adjusted the eastern river around the houses. Added a pond west of Resident Services?? Moved the campsite to its permanent location. Able Sisters moves to the commercial area of the island. Made the “maze” in the western side of the island more detailed/natural. The museum gets more detail outside. Priest gets his “house” built near the museum and some lore stuff is put up between the chapel and the museum. Finally, the WRESTLING RING is installed just south of Resident Services.

Molded the river to run down out of the northwestern pond and through the “maze” on the western side of the island for more realism. Added a slope to the largest maze island. Banished some villagers to the beach as I try to figure out how much yard space they should all get + make it look like the town was built around the river (for more realism). Added slopes for ease of access on the northeast side of the island. [REDACTED] gets his house built in the forest in the northwest corner of the island. Removed the pond west of Resident Services??

Added more details to the western river, removed the slope to keep the preserved/untouched feel of the “maze”. The Orchard is moved to the space west of Resident Services. Guy moves in with his surf/summer shop just below the “maze” where the orchard originally was. Added slopes to reach the northern island because I grew tired of using ladders to visit Redd. Villagers are allowed to live on the mainland again. Opted to have the eastern river ‘end’ at one point, and ‘begin’ below, implying it goes underground. Finally, the cemetery is built in the northeast side of the island.

Jan, 1, 2022 (another horrid new years eve vid screenshot) FARMING UPDATE!!!

Added much needed details to the eastern river. The orchard is moved as far up as I can possibly move it without disturbing the natural look too much. In its place: the farming field. The six rocks are finally given their own dedicated spot just below the cemetery.

Added a pathway from Guy’s Summer Daze shop to the southern beach, with palm trees dotted all around. Expanded the pond that the eastern river dumps out into for detail, realism, and to just fill in the empty space. Added some decor to the empty gap just south of Able Sisters. Added palm trees all around the eastern edge of the island for detail and to keep things looking natural.

Professor moves into the ancient ruins inside the maze that were 100% totally there this whole time! Added dirt pathways across the island for detail. Adjusted the northwestern and the mid-eastern pond for even more detail. Made the southern parts of both rivers little more irregular.

Hope establishes her café next door to Able Sisters. Guy’s brother moves in next to Nook’s Cranny. Still haven’t decided what I’m going to do with that house. Hotel? Community center? IDK.

It’s really neat to see how much and yet so little my island has changed. I had kinda forgotten how much of it I already had planned out since the beginning. But I definitely remember the pain that was moving the orchard, and literally all of the terraforming. 

It’s also fascinating to see that I really did not touch the little corner where my house is AT ALL. There’s a pear tree next to my house, near the western river, that literally was there day one. Default tree. It is most likely the only original tree left in its original spot on the entire island.
