Frannie's cheeks lit up with a dusting of red as Marley tucked the rose behind her ear - it may have been paper, but it was an adorable gesture and the other woman really had come a long way in making her paper flowers; if they weren't working for Miss July she probably could have had a side hustle just selling those even before she opened the bookstore that she'd talked about.

"Thank you, pup, I love it," she demonstrated just how much by kissing Marley on the forehead, pulling away with a smile. "I'll wear it all day, or at least until nine - I've got a client and I don't want it getting wrecked if I can help it. Your flowers are much too pretty to share with anyone else."

Gesturing, Frannie indicated the couch. "Want to come and sit for a while? I've actually got a pot of cocoa warming on the stove, and because I had a feeling that you might be dropping by I also have a big bag of jumbo marshmallows that are just waiting for one hungry pup to drop them in the cocoa. How does that sound?"

Cassie rolled her eyes. Of course Rachel was acting some kind of way now. The night before, she was so enthusiastically wanting to have her stay over in her weirdly incestuous apartment she shared with that annoying gay twink and the lesbian with a foul mouth. Of course, the said pair were away for a trip home to Lima.. That they could apparently afford to do every other week like their families owned shares in American Airlines.

Apparently the pair of them had been so busy having destructive and loud sex all over the apartment to notice that said roommates had texted to let Rachel know that they were coming home early.

Alas, they found themselves woken up by two very confused voices wondering why the apartment was such a mess, and whether or not they should call the police.

“Why are you being so dramatic, Schwimmer? They know you’re dating someone, so what’s the big deal?”

Cassie regretted it instantly, when a very naked and distressed Rachel Berry turned around in the bed to face her and start going into a whisper rant about how they didn’t even know she had an interest in women, nor that she was dating her teacher, much less that the mess around the shared space was from her having rampant and explicit activities with said teacher.

Rolling her eyes, Cassandra, as she so often did, shut Rachel up with a kiss. It was one of the few moments she could get a little peace from the loudmouthed diva that she unfortunately was falling very hard for. Even though, as she quite often told herself, there were a lot more people out there that would be far less high maintenance and wouldn’t force her into doing half of the disgusting couples stuff that Rachel did.

“Well you have to think of something fast, because I’m going out there with or without you. And I’m damn sure you would rather do the explaining than let me tell them, in detail, what you were screaming with your bare ass on the kitchen stove,”
