Ash(Pokemon) as a warrior cat

Of course! Ash has a bit of an unusual name choice, and let's get right into it!

I leaned into the symbolism a bit for Ash's name: Sunspirit!

The suffix spirit was chosen to describe Ash's personality, and his spirited character. "Sun" was selected because it relates to ash (I know it's a canon prefix but c'mon I wanted to be creative), and it's similar to the 'top' of the world in Sunspirit's eyes.

Now for the story! Sunpaw got his first Pantheramon after leaving his home. In this universe, Pantheramon are the cat equivalent to pokemon! I'm retconning twolegs out of this universe, as I do not think I could work around their existence in this universe without handling it in an unsatisfactory way.

A lot of the technology in the Pokemon world wouldn't exist in the Pantheramon universe, so instead of pokeballs, they have a recall command for the Pantheramon. If a Pantheramon wants to travel with you, it will show it by walking next to you and planting it's feet by your side.

To round this short one out, here's a few pictures of a design for Sunspirit!

I really like it, and the crimson bow is my answer to Ash's red cap!

tawny - they were friends before tawny died, but asterr was always somewhat in love with tawny. asterrtawny just became canon(ish) recently so take this with a grain of salt bcus i didnt really write it but asterrain probably started to realize they liked tawny as they defected more and more from paraclan/sumire! i might write that into season 2 nd make it more obvious but ya :3

canary (idk ima do her anyways) - asterrain was sad when she died (mostly bcus someone just died lol) but they were never really close so asterr doesn't think of her out of like a passing thought. they dont like her sm anyways.

hazel - asterr hasn't really had time to process hazel's death. they adore her even in death and will mourn for him for a long time. he will always hold an incredible special and unique place in their heart.

corvid - corvid nd asterr were not on good terms when he died (for the second time) but they dont think he deserved to die (especially not for something like the tooth).

sun - asterr nd sun had been enemies for a while when she died but to be sacrificed only to be possessed by sumire was cruel

A low-ranking Theian noble from a distant off-shoot of House Sunspirit, he stepped in to save you when you were 16 from your first experience in battle gone wrong. From then on, he’s been your hero. You insisted on him accompanying you back to the palace, where you had your father appoint Aurynn to the prestigious position of your retainer in honor and recognition of his deed. He has served you as such for the last six years.

Flashy and alluring, Aurynn is an infuriating flirt, somehow balancing on the line between charming and aggravating. His propensity towards flirtation never ceases to irritate Samira, your acolyte, someone he takes great pleasure in endlessly annoying.

Despite being a noble, he hardly acts his station, something you have long learned to let go. Flighty and carefree, he often seems to forget things a noble really ought to know, but you’ve chalked it up to his not paying much attention during his lessons.

A number of scars mar his lithe figure; he’s explained he obtained them all in battle—which you believe is true for many of them, considering how impulsive and reckless he is on the battlefield—but some of them look a little too precise. Surgical, even.

While he laughs most of your inquiries into his past or odd behaviors off, you’ve racked up a list of things you’ve learned not to ask about, including why he never takes off his gloves, his spacey episodes, or his migraines.

Hair like the moon. That’s what every report said, every hushed whisper from delegates returning from the South seas, and Zuko doesn’t believe it until he sees it. He’d thought it lies, embellishments, but the greatest transgression of those who said such things was understatement. Why stop there? When he has as many faces as the moon has phases, glares and grins and grimaces and every contortion in between graces Sokka’s features; and Zuko tries his best to draw them all out, with whatever embarrassing story or challenge is necessary. Why not speak of how his will is like the tides? Perhaps unnoticeable in the moment, but the perpetual push and pull, even at a remove and distance that should not allow such machinations, is nevertheless effective and insistent. Zuko knows it well, can feel the pull of it through dry ink and scented letters. His absence is a new moon’s void, a night sky empty of its brightest light, until he waxes once again, shining full and close as he rests between his travels. A smile like the crescent, knowing and wide. Hair like the moon, and all the rest besides.

An eye like the sun. They never said which one. But his words are fire enough, devouring the scroll as if he could never fit everything he wishes to express onto such a flammable medium. Is it exhausting, Sokka had wondered while deciphering the long missives, to burn so intensely, so fiercely, for everything he sets his mind to? But the sun never rests, never smolders out, and neither does Zuko, unless it’s to set in his arms, warm against Sokka’s side. He’s seen the razed path to progress that Zuko blazes, scorching the shriveled and dry old growth until there’s room for the new. Their lives are fractured, held together by debts yet to be returned, and if their vessels are cracked, then why shouldn’t a little radiance shine through at the faultlines? An eye like the sun, blinded are those who would dare stare into its gaze.
