I have some Gort headcanons to (hopefully) cheer you up:

The WORKING CLASS SECTION:

- His hands are perfumed and ring-adorned, but his palms are cracked and calloused.

- In that same vein, he dots his letters with a vanilla fragrance but beneath the sweetness, he smells like metal and oil.

- He remembers everyone who spoke about him behind their hands, and he makes sure they’re personally invited to his coronation. He might even drive their house to financial ruin, if he’s feeling silly with it.

THE SEXY SECTION:

- One of his favorite humiliation maneuvers is giving head, then pulling his partner into a long and bruising kiss. He’s also not a swallower. He refuses to swallow. I don’t want to be vulgar, so… you do the math there.

- While kissing, he keeps his eyes (the tiniest bit) open. I’m stealing some of your headcanons to say that the last time he earnestly kissed someone, they bit his lip so hard it bled for days after. - Many of his affectations are stolen from Raphael. Loath as Gortash is to admit it, Raphael’s behavior influenced much of Gortash’s.

- He had no intention of being Bane’s vessel, or relinquishing control of the Absolute to his god. He probably turned the idea of godhood over in his head more than once; if Bane could usurp Jergal, who’s to say he couldn’t do the same?
