It's the juicer story to tell after all. #It is still possible that he did love her! I do. #Unlike JC though It is far more hilarious and plausible to imagine JFM begging to be CSSR and WCZ's third. Gab is a sea otter for: sea, floats, has special rock (island), needed friends not to lose himself, breaks open shells

Wells is a puma/cougar because of 'The Island of Doctor Moreau' by HG Wells (it's medical horror so watch out) for the puma-woman hybrid that killed Dr Moreau.

Yosano is a honey badger (please look at this video, warning for swearing) because they're metal as fuck and don't die from poison.

Atsushi. I tried to make him something else but I couldn't think of anything good and he had a whole arc about accepting the tiger. I let him have this one.

Ranpo is cat for Fukuzawa's sake (warning: this might actually make Fukuzawa explode)

Fukuzawa might hold the "lone wolf" title, but he's also the chill guy who has taken in all the other ADA members. He gets capybara'd.

Mori is a chipmunk here because we were talking about how they actually are omnivores and then I found this picture and couldn't stop laughing. Sometimes I'm shallow like that. (I'm open to suggestions for more fitting mammals with a matching Elise if you have one jhsdgfhjh)

and Sigma is a rabbit because he's nervous and jumpy yet fierce and inexplicably just has that vibe 🐇

i love how bsd is a war story that doesn't tell you so until so much later. the war is bsd in overhanging and present in countless pieces of the plot, but it creeps up on you. you hear it in little pieces, a mention here, a mention there, and eventually it's practically omnipresent and the focal point of the arc.

Impossibility for it to find a companion. Iris fixed on watery surface below a balcony, the window on my back opened in a swipe. Eyes of light and night of warmth. I raised my hand to this familiar silhouette of red. "Mind a dance, sir?" i said. A smile grew on my silent face, reflecting what i never thought could exist in this pit of mine. Maybe "impossible" wasn't a suited word, after all.

atsushi gets super clingy when he's drinking like the first time the ada took him out for drinks, dazai and kunikida could not move because atsushi was holding them so tightly and he finally, tearfully, allowed kunikida to leave because kunikida had to use the bathroom only to jump across the table and hold onto to junichiro (dragging dazai with him), when they finally left and took him home, they had to claw him off ranpo and even then it only worked because since it was his first time drinking, yosano was going to stay with him just in case

anyway, after the first time, the ada just get used to it and it no longer registers to them as anything but normal

akutagawa and atsushi aren't even tentative friends yet before akutagawa runs into tipsy atsushi and ends the night with an armful of atsushi that wont let go no matter how much he pokes and prods but thats a different story lmao

Ok but with ylfa's backstory it's just. There's a wolf who can take people's skins and mimic their voices? So there have been many ppl who have gone into the woods, been attacked by a wolf, and then what's returned has looked and sounded and hell maybe even acted like them! But a bit more monstrous. With hair on their hands, and a low snarl, and sure they sound like our dear loved one and they look like them but they're scary. They're scary, and they've changed, and shouldn't they be dead?

And maybe if they're scary they aren't our loved one - they're actually just the scary thing in disguise yes of course! Cause they would never scare us like that. They could never be transformed like that. So it's not them, so they're dead.

Storm Bringer AU where everyone was too late and Chuuya didn't resist enough. (more details under the cut ↓)

Chuuya finished reciting the activation phrase the first time and released Arahabaki, which the lab could contain using their emergency water protocol (flash-flood the room like they wanted to in the video, since the room was a tank for holding water). They could then override Chuuya's "persona model", aka erase his memories for easier conditioning.

Verlaine would be a few minutes too late and find the room being emptied with Chuuya still hung on he wall. Chuuya being mostly unresponsive (that was a whole lot of physical and mental trauma in a very short time), the whole thing hit way too close to home. Verlaine unhooked Chuuya from his torture position, but left him there as he went to rampage through the whole facility and take revenge on the researchers (for himself or for Chuuya?) and find N.

In the meantime, Dazai and Adam are unaware of the situation and start off doing the exact same thing they do in the light novel, but then realize something's off compared to Dazai's predictions. Above events ensues.

what next? well. :) wouldn't I like to know
