Have mentioned this in my tanthamore head cannons but I thought I’d expand. so The Willow cast drunk:

- Jade: the lightest of weight, just the smell of red wine makes her woozy. She rarely drinks and when she does 3 is her max. she gets super giggly, and everything is funny. Her balance goes out the window immediately and she cannot stand on her own or walk in a straight line. She usually just ends up clinging to kit the whole night. Her cheeks also flush like bright red.

- Airk: light weight. 1-4 drinks. man whore. Need I say more?

- Graydon: standard tolerance. He has like Amy Santiago drunk stages, from 1-6. so he’s a different Graydon at each drink. Drink 1: he gets really quiet and a little sleepy (not too noticeable). drink 2: chatterbox. He goes from being the quietest in the room to being unable to shut up. Drink 3: spontaneous singing/ flute playing. Drink 4: he starts waxing poetics and life statements about how the world is beautiful. Has philosophical conversations with random people. drink 5: rubber knees can’t stand up. Drink 6: depression. He has a full existential crisis and goes catatonic on the floor.

- Willow: moderate tolerance. He drinks fairly regularly and can have 1-7 drinks. When he’s drunk it’s the only time he’s funny. Has one drink and is suddenly a standup comedian.

- Elora: surprisingly a heavy weight can stand 1-10 drinks. She’s the overly affectionate emotional drunk. She says I love you to everyone every 5 minutes and somehow ends up braiding some random girls hair in the bathroom.

- Boorman: heavy weight. 1-17 drinks. pranks on pranks on pranks. No one is safe. He and kit should not be allowed to drink together. They team up and become a menace to society. He also has no balance and falls over a lot.

- Kit: heavy weight. 1-20 drinks When she’s drinks she gets so over confident and pulls pranks. She’s ready to arm wrestle everyone in the tavern and absolutely gets into fights. Also gets super flirty with Jade.

- Scorpia: heavy weight champion. Literally has never been drunk because she’ll have 20 drinks and feel absolutely nothing. Kit tried out out drink her once and just about died by the time Scorpia felt anything at all.

I really thought I was prepared to watch warrior nun. I knew it was cancelled and I knew it was gay, but they only kissed once in the last episode, and I really thought I was prepared. But OH MY GOD I’m so upset. This last year and half has fucking sucked for sapphic media and every time I think I’ve braced myself for it, I definitely haven’t. Killing Eve was like a sucker punch and I genuinely fucking grieved it, and then the wilds, and warrior nun, and every other show. I thought I was okay with warrior nun because I knew it was coming, but I finished the finale 2 hours ago and I can’t stop thinking about how it ended and how much more I want to see of Ava and Beatrice.

We are not comparing queer media! Stop saying that is what is happening. Calling out double standards isn’t pitting media with representation against each other. Sapphics don’t get to be the main characters on shows. When we have sapphic mains they either die or their shows get canceled.  Heartstopper is a wonderful show with wonderful representation. And guess what!? When people are talking about this most of the time they include the words “I love Heartstopper but…” No one is dissing on it or saying it should’ve been canceled. it’s an adorable and cheesy queer show that was incredibly popular and well loved. But when cheesy shows are sapphic, they are too cheesy and are more deserving of being canceled then unpopular shows about straight white people. Comparing the numbers and pointing out that First Kill was more popular than Heartstopper but got canceled while Heartstopper got two more seasons and thinking that is incredibly unfair, is not trying to tear down a piece of queer media to build another up. First Kill is a sapphic show with black leads. it’s not just a show with sapphic and black main characters. The main storyline is around the sapphic protagonists, one of whom is a black lesbian. they are not secondary main characters. They are the main protagonists. Having that representation is important and complaining about that being taken away is not acting like other media with representation is less important. Just that there’s a double standard that needs to be called out.

First Kill was just cancelled after one season. It got a higher number of watches in its first week than Heartstopper did and Heartstopper got renewed for two more seasons.

This came just a couple days after the cancellation of the Wilds. These networks need to stop cancelling shows because of their sapphic representation.

Its slightly depressing to watch sapphic people's accounts slowly become graveyards full of characters and shows they once identified with. Every post is a new flower added to the grave, every one a feeble attempt to bring them back from the dead.

Cancellation is only a set back for most shows. But a death sentence for wlw ones.

Whenever I see a post about avatrice, or a gif of first kill, I can't help but get cut by the thorns littering the roses cast across the floor. It stings. It always will. The wake is painful, but the reminders are lethal.
