PSA FOR STOCKTON, CA!!!

(haha that rhyme, but this is serious)

So, I'm definitely not trying to add unnecessary fear, but am also aware that some people don't necessarily get news alerts so I'd rather spread awareness where possible (if at all)

In Stockton, California, USA the police are apparently looking into several murders as being the potential result of a serial killer

The current information released on MO is that it happens to people walking or in their cars alone in dark areas late at night or early morning, with no current gender significance

This does NOT mean to panic and change your whole routine if you live in Stockton or the surrounding areas, but does mean to strive to travel in groups, avoid poorly lit areas where possible, stay constantly vigilant when unable to avoid being alone in the dark at these times, keep your phone ready, and carry something like a taser, mace, a baton, etc. For self defense (please be aware of what you are carrying though! Anything you carry for self defense you need to be aware that it could be used against you in such a situation, so be aware of that and the potential consequences!)

I know there is so much you can personally do in a situation like this, but even just being aware of the potential can ensure you stay alive in a situation like this

Jessie's momma passed away about 5 years ago and her poppa just passed away on New Years Day. She is 17 years young and would love to help you keep your couch warm on these cold winter days and nights. Jessie (poppa called her Baby Kitty) lives for her wet food and kitty treats but also thoroughly enjoys furminator brushing of her long silky fur. She is a little feisty like all of us older kids. Spayed in 2007 she spent much of her time in the company of small dogs but she lost them to old age over the years. Growing up in Lodi's wine country she had a kitty door and liked to prowl outside in the warm weather in her safe backyard.

Jessie Baby Kitty would do best in a calm, loving kitty friendly home with folks who respect feline uniqueness.

Vet gave her 2 thumbs up during health care check and provided rabies vaccination.
