The Librarians AU with Spock and La'an

After the series final when Eve Baird and Flynn Carsen bonded to the library a new Librarian is recruited. Spock is as brilliant as Carsen and just as scatter brained, paying more attention to the artifacts than the danger. Baird yells at the library that she needs help keeping the Librarians safe and so La'an is recruited. Sparks fly as soon as Spock and La'an meet. Which is good as the library has grown so much that it needs another couple to bond to it to keep it anchored. Will our beloved couple be perfect or will they be too afraid of the immortal commitment to be together.

This is obviously more of an AU for The Librarians, but I still think this would be a great story for Spock & La'an. Unfortunately, I am not a writer and could never do it justice, but I did want to put the idea out there in case there is someone else who loves the idea and who would be willing to write it.

We invite you all to join the party as we celebrate 7 days of Spocklaan goodness!! Please feel free to join us and other Spocklaan fans as we create fics, art, music, moodboards, etc. to share our love for La'an and Spock.

The days will have the following prompts:

Day 1: Connections

Show us your take on the connection between Spock and La'an either literal or metaphorical! What parallels do they have in canon (if you like, you can refer to @tinderbox210 list of parallels)? What personality traits do they share? How are they similar? What's up with the height difference? The possibilities are endless.

Day 2: Love Day

Love is in the air!! May it be in the form of Fluff or Smut...How do Spock and La'an show their love? Do they give gifts, spend time, or hole up in their quarters for a passionate evening?

Day 3: Theme Day

Time to celebrate!! Themes such as holidays, birthday themes, parties, R&R, Captain's dinner etc. How do Spock and La'an react here?

Day 4: Inspiration

What music, quotes, or other works inspire you to write about this pairing? Here is your time to do it! What inspires you about Spock and La'an or makes you think of Spock and La'an?

Day 5: What Happens Next...

We don't see every little interaction between Spock and La'an. What scenes are we missing between them, or what scenes are yet to come? (canon compliant)

2x03 - Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow Spocklaan AU:

I've been wondering where La'an from the alternate timeline was while prime La'an was on the alt-Enterprise (assuming prime La'an didn't just take her place, but since none of the crew recognized her, I don't think that was the case).

And seeing that gif set from the TNG episode with Troi undercover as a Romulan made me think... what if La'an was undercover as a Romulan? I think that would be very interesting in a similar fashion as her undercover work in 2x01 The Broken Circle. They could use similar technology like the gen altering stuff from the pilot to make her look Romulan.

What if she's on board one of the Romulan vessels engaging the Sh'Rel in battle? What if she gets captured by Captain Spock wthout knowing she's a human spy or stops the Romulans from destroying his ship even if that means blowing her cover? Or what if Spock gets captured by the Romulans and La'an is supposed to interogate him but then decides to help him escape?

Oh, the wonderful AU possibilities...

Spocklaan Legend of the Seeker Mirrorverse AU:

Back to that LotS AU (if anyone remembers the show):

In this AU, the Mord Sith are the elite warriors of Emperor Georgiou, trained in the mastery of torture, interrogation and seduction to subjugate people to the will of the Emperor. Their only real weakness is a Confessor's psionic touch, aka Vulcan mind meld, making them relive all the pain they've inflicted on their victims and even turning them into mind controlled puppets.

After losing her family, La'an was trained as a Mord Sith by the Emeror's head mistress Una Chin-Riley and became one of the most skilled members of the order.

I think La'an would fit well as a Mord Sith, not just because she already looks the part with her braids (and would look stunning in leather), but also because of the similarities in the traumatic backstory and personality (she can also take the pain without batting an eyelash like a true Mord Sith).

La'an gets send after Spock, a Confessor of great mental powers that the Emperor wants to get her hands on and his powers use against her enemies.

The Confessor powers are unusually strong in Spock due to his unique hybrid nature with his father being a Vulcan druid and his mother being a rogue Mord Sith who betrayed the order and forsaken her duty for love. At the same time, due to his human side, he doesn't have the same control over his powers like other Vulcans which can lead to him slipping into the dangerous blood rage plak tow (aka con dar).

Despite being mortal enemies, La'an and Spock feel immediately drawn to each other upon meeting for the first time. La'an feels her loyalty to the Mord Sith and the Emperor waver due to her growing feelings for Spock while Spock fears his attraction to La'an will make him lose control of his powers and mind meld with her.
